of a comedy the way that NBC advertised it for two months than a drama – it was OK…reminds me of "Brothers and Sisters or some show like that.

so I don’t watch the awards – those folks in Hollyweird are too narcissistic for our own good to watch them pat themselves on the back at a job "well done".

but with that show ~ one never knew plus in away they were each others "soulmates"…still think my ending woulda been better, catch the rerun if you can – I’m sure it will be on.  Pretty mild for those two.

Tyrant, my Cocker Spaniel girly (when she was alive), used to sit there and watch (yes, actually watch) t.v. – from Animal Planet to Alpo commericials (and she’d let you know verbally too that there were other woof-woofs running across the screen).  ROTFLMBO when watching her.  None of my other girls do that.  Your girlygirl has good taste and is in the know watching O’Reilly!

I went on YouTube after I read your post – there are a bunch of "Law and Order" poochies singing to the theme!  How funny.  I know my doggiegirls enjoyed hearing the other dogs on my computer…

but if you recommend I’ll look for them now…I did watch Nip/Tuck* since it’s inception six years ago.  I liked the show, but for about two years it got so ridiculously weird in it’s story lines (and gross, as you said), that I said that’s it – I can’t watch anymore.  Then when I found out that this was going to be the last season of the show, I wanted to see how they ended those crazies stories…last show was sort of a let down.

I would have though the ending would have been better in a scene with Troy in a nursing home still carrying on, drinking, (milk now of course), chasing the nurses at an old age, and when we finally see his face, and it’s stretched, lifted and tucked and pulled back so far that he was barely recognizable except for that smile that he always had.

I was thinking this is another one of those fantasy type scenes (those teasers) that they do on the show.  That Sami was just imaging it (like the "shower scene in Dallas" for you older folks that may remember that) and the writers were going to torture us fans more!

Perhaps, Sami after wishing and hoping and praying for a miracle for so long now just couldn’t believe her eyes for a second – she may have PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder), after having two (Grace and Sydney) children ripped away from her.  I still think Marlena should come back – there’s a lot of messed up psyche’s in Salem.

first on NBC and they dropped it.  TNT has some excellent material on.   FX has a lot of good adult minded genre shows also.

Perhaps their protection "broke".   I agree with you it was stupid but it’s the shouldda/couldda/woulda moot point now since Mel is here and alive.

Dr. Dan’s affair – Wikipedia’s definition – (and that’s how I was using it in my post) is: A romantic affair, also called an affair of the heart, may refer to sexual liaisons among unwed parties, (i.e., Dr. Dan),  or to various forms of nonmonogamy.  Unlike a casual relationship, which is a physical and emotional relationship between two people who may have sex without expecting a more formal romantic relationship, an affair is by its nature romantic.

Carly’s was an (again Wikipedia’s definition): Extramarital affairs are relationships outside of marriage where an illicit romantic or sexual relationship or a romantic friendship or passionate attachment occurs.

Or if it walks like a duck, has feather’s like a duck and quacks like a duck – it’s a duck.

cannot be given substances of any kind.  There are strict rules govening a minor being on the set.  They must have a entertainment work permit.  There are rules that vary from state to state on child welfare.  In California and New York,  there are a number of child actor labor laws that regulate when and how a child can work.  Additionally, many states require an entertainment work permit and a studio teacher to provide for the education of working children.

Work permits are required by the child’s home state and must be signed off by a social worker/studio teacher who is hired by the state to take care of your child’s school and labor needs on the job.  The state also has laws insuring that a percentage of their wage go to trusteeship for when they are adults.  Minors can only work certain hours of the day, their acting is limited also to a number of hours per day.  I think perhaps "Sydney" when they need a sleepy time scene – she’s just had lunch and (they know when to time it) and they get their acting shots in at that time, (these folks are professionals and know what they are doing to get the child scene just right).

when they met at the medical conf.?  I thought that’s what Carly had mentioned at one point, I assumed that she was already into her practice.  Also, for some reason, it always seemed that Carly had alluded to having an affair with someone who is younger than she is, even just by a few years.

This is why I’d like the writer’s to "flesh" out the character’s with some history before they enter stage right and we have to feel like we’re suppose to know everything about them.  Give us at least a bone of the character’s history to naw on – Dr. Dan – works out a gym, gifted surgeon, widower, had designs on several women in the show, had tryst with Carly years ago that produced child that he was unaware of, Victor’s godson ~ what else?  That’s just about what I know about him today, the same as when he came onto the set two (?) years ago, (with the exception now that he’s Mel’s dad).
