Just read on Day’s Cafe that tomorrow EJ calls Sami and tells her the ransom note was a hoax and Sydney’s dead.  Later he shows up at the pup where Sami, Rafe and Will are with Sydney in his arms.

I suppose we’ll need the whole box by the time the show is over.  But it’s about darned time.

I wonder if anybody will think it strange how comfortable Sydney is with EJ after not seeing him for so long.  At that age, I would expect her to treat him like she would any stranger and be a little standoffish.

That makes me think about Syndey lately and how docile she’s been.  I wonder if someone is feeding her Benedryl.  It’s kind of unusual for a child that age to sit so still all the time, especially the way she leans into EJ and Anna.  I sure hope not.  Maybe she’s just a good little actor.

Sydney clung to EJ and said DaDa when he tried to give her to Sami.  That would surely cause Rafe’s FBI instincts to start buzzing.  And yes Sydney seems extremely passive sometimes.

in front of Sami and Rafe, of course, to Anna if and when she sees her.  If she can say da-da, she can say Anna, for as many times as Anna reminded her that she was her Auntie Anna.  I think it would be fantastic if Sydney were the one to break the case wide open by recognizing Anna.  There would be no other reason for her to know Anna unless she spent quite a bit of time with her.  I would just love to see that.  I can just see it now…..Sami hugging and kissing all over her and the baby reaching out to E.J., saying ‘da-da’ ‘An-na’.  Then the camera closes in on Sami and Rafe looking like……WTH????

I know this isn’t the end of the SL, but one thing I have been noticing and really enjoying is the ease that James Scott has with the babies. He is really good with them and is obviously fond of the girls.  Same with Leanne Hunley.

but, if truth be told, when the children are in scene after scene after scene with any one actor or actress, it is only natural that they would respond to that person more than any other actor in a scene.  They do respond well to James and to LeAnn, as well as to Ari Z.  Now, I’m sure at some point they will have them in more scenes with Ali, or I guess I should speak in show names, i.e., Sami, Rafe, Will, Roman, etc., so they will have to get used to a whole new set of actors.  I also think that in some of their scenes, it does, in fact, look like whichever one is performing at that time is very sleepy, but I would absolutely HATE to believe that anything was given to her to keep her calm while they are taping.  That would be horribly horribly wrong, IMO.  Hopefully, she was just plain sleepy at the time.

Just read prevuze for tomorrow.  Sami is holding Syd and goes to hand her to EJ.  Syd holds out her arms and sayd Da Da.  Sami comments on that and EJ says it’s nothing.

cannot be given substances of any kind.  There are strict rules govening a minor being on the set.  They must have a entertainment work permit.  There are rules that vary from state to state on child welfare.  In California and New York,  there are a number of child actor labor laws that regulate when and how a child can work.  Additionally, many states require an entertainment work permit and a studio teacher to provide for the education of working children.

Work permits are required by the child’s home state and must be signed off by a social worker/studio teacher who is hired by the state to take care of your child’s school and labor needs on the job.  The state also has laws insuring that a percentage of their wage go to trusteeship for when they are adults.  Minors can only work certain hours of the day, their acting is limited also to a number of hours per day.  I think perhaps "Sydney" when they need a sleepy time scene – she’s just had lunch and (they know when to time it) and they get their acting shots in at that time, (these folks are professionals and know what they are doing to get the child scene just right).

I can predict that Anna will take the fall now. He will say he got the baby back from her, call the cops and they will find her with $5 million in the suitcase. Of course no one will believe her side of the story. Rafe will eventually. But this to me looks like how it will play out. Anyone agree?

give the children a substance to make them appear sleepy; I’m just saying I would hate to think that that would ever happen.  They did appear very sleepy at times; then at other times they seemed agitated, reaching for their off-stage mommy.  And, I know they have the strictest of rules for child actors regarding their hours of work; that’s why they use twins and, in some instances, triplets.

that’s probably the way it will go down.  I also think Anna knows the Governor, coming soon and being played by Stuart Damon, and she will get him involved on her behalf.  I think that he will pardon Nicole.  That’s how she will get out of jail, and I think Anna will be behind it.

I’d read that Anna blackmails the governor to get Nicole out of prison.

through my thick skull is why would Anna want to get Nicole out of jail when Nicole can identify her voice and she’s already described the boots Anna was wearing when she took Syd.  Oh, okay, I guess Anna doesn’t know that about Nicole yet.  Boy, is she in for a big surprise.
