it messed up and I didn’t proof read it… "B" oh my achy breaky back and "C" is for chest pains – perhaps card-i-ac!

My cakes usually look like they’ve been dropped on the floor and licked by a cat! Edible and tasty but not pretty!

"flooded" in Marlena’s old digs – and also, at the DiMansion, all of the furniture was Stephano’s.  I don’t think Sami has really ever owned her own stuff…she’s like Blanch DuBois in Streetcar Named Desire – "(always living)…off the kindness of strangers…"!

And another question…why IS it no one ever tells us, this is what old age is going to be like?

Now The Alphabet  for old folks:

A’s for arthritis; the bad back,

    C’s

    the chest pains, perhaps car-di-ac?

    D

is for dental decay and decline,

    E

is for eyesight, can’t read that top line!

    F

is for fissures and fluid retention,

    G

is for gas which I’d rather not mention.

    H

    high blood pressure–I’d rather it low;

    I

for incisions with scars you can show.

    J

is for joints, out of socket, won’t mend,

    K

is for knees that crack when they bend.

    L

‘s for libido, what happened to sex?

    M

is for memory, I forget what comes next.

    N

    is neuralgia, in nerves way down low;

    O

is for osteo, bones that don’t grow!

    P

for prescriptions, I have quite a few,

just give me a pill and I’ll be good as new!

    Q

is for queasy, is it fatal or flu?

    R

is for reflux, one meal turns to two.

    S

is for sleepless nights, counting my fears,

    T

is for Tinnitus; bells in my ears!

    U

    is for urinary; troubles with flow;

    V

for vertigo, that’s ‘dizzy,’ you know.

    W

for worry, now what’s going ’round?

    X

is for X ray, and what might be found.

    Y

for another year I’m left here behind,

    Z

is for zest I still have– in my mind!

    B’s

I may be old and my memory is fuzzy about a lot of things…but this stuff I remember!  First time they actually say it on the show or allude that they are not twins out right, I’m starting a letter/Email campaign to Corday himself!

Good ol’ safe Caroline being the shooter?  I think that would be such a neat concept (not that she shot EJ) but that we wouldn’t in a million years suspect her, even though she hates EJ’s guts!  And maybe Ma Caroline will be in prison with Hope for awhile, darn site better than sticking her up stairs in the Pub all the time!  And Victor would move heaven and earth to get her out because of his friendship with her, which would put a great spin on Maggie/Victor/Vivy story… I LIKE it!  Yes, I do!

that this past summer with some products like Midol, etc.?  If they’d just put the product in the back ground even prominently displayed in a ten minute scene so you focus on the actors but see the product – OK.   Or even like all those subliminal messages supposedly placed for a 24 milliseconds on t.v. that we are not consiously aware of that the advertisers do anyway, OK.

Just don’t be blatant about it or do it so dumbly – if the actors feel bad and embarrassed – what about us poor fans that have to sit through it?  Now I’ve got to think, when our characters walk into the Pub, I used to think they’d spill some dark lovely secret, but now I’ve got to worry about them whipping out chow mein and having a three minute conversation about it???    That makes me want to deliberately not purchase the product!

from Brandon’s old apartment as well as Mimi’s and Shawn when they lived together and possibly part of the "safe" house.   Save money – recyle?  New motto on Day’s sets?

I watch some sort of show the past few weeks called the Next Super Model or something like that…it’s a show that’s in it’s 3rd season but I only caught it for about the last 4 weeks or so, about women over the age of 35 becoming models.  Some of them had figures like I did before I was forty five, but the lady who won the show had curves and was a size 12 – I was routing for her because she had a nice personality, down to earth, a mom and a bus mechanic to boot!  She was a natural beauty to begin with.  And she glammed (is that a word) with make up and such and was very pretty too.

surgery!  I’m not going to lecture you…no, I’m notwell, do you know how many people our age, (past 50) fall off ladders and break hips – (that is the one thing one hears about all the time), and have to go to a hospital where they develop pneumonia and

    well, you know the rest.

Have you seen that commerical, "Help, I’ve fallen and I can’t get up?"

Have you hear the stories of the doggies who start out licking the faces of their fallen people and then two weeks later?  (I know it’s yuckkkie).

I AM not lecturing!  Hire a 25 year old hunk to climb the damn ladder!  That way you don’t get hurt, except for maybe a crick in your neck from looking up or eye strain!  I am NOT lecturing!  Take care of yourself woman!!!!!

I thought past the age of 50 a size 12, (after kids, etc) is pretty much the norm and looking pretty good!

put that POA to rest with all the judges he owns and has in his back pocket – so to me, this is another stupid thing the writers did for a story line that bends and suspends all reality once again.

I love my soap, I’ve stuck by it for 20 years now, but I’m finding that there are a lot of other continuing stories/series on t.v. that I am not having to lower my I.Q. for an hour each day.  I think that the writers in our soap are lazy or just do not have the talent to write something fresh and new.

Day’s is not a fantasy or science fiction show – it’s suppose to be and adult day-time day time drama – it borders so many times on the ridiculous that I’m finding it difficult to continue to watch even ten minutes of the show at times.  Jeeeeeeesh, even on Salem Place board, I find much better writing and ideas from you ladies (and gents) for the show’s story line than the writers are doing or have done in a long time.  I haven’t read any one on Salem Place saying that they are professional or published writers.

but since when do they allow little children in the hospital to visit? It’s been awhile since I’ve been in one (thank God) so things may have changed, but I would think the hospital wouldn’t allow this due to sickenss and such with law suits.  But then a relative, i.e., Lexie, wouldn’t be the main doctor on a case either.  And wouldn’t Sami, (as a mother) balk at Johnny being scared and worried about seeing his dad with all the tubes and such sticking out all over him?  I don’t care how astute and smart little Johnny is, I wouldn’t subject my child to the anxiety of seeing "daddy" that way.
