Participantbetter myself. I am so glad someone else see’s Daniel and NOnanka this way too…I thought it was just me. I haven’t watched (except for the very first season ) and am just getting into it this season again, I was beginning to think – man, things have really changed on this show. Think that merger will be next week from the way things looked. It would be great if Daniel, NoNanka and Marty would get on the same team – I would have loved to see JimmyT and NoNanka go at it – they would have killed each other! He would have talked her to death and she would have jive talked him to death! At least the old team has some peace and quiet for one week.

Participantthat is what we have here…and it’s scary, I don’t blame the guy for quitting after a few hours on the roads there at all…maybe I’m just more hyper-sensitive to bad drivers because of my situation and know what a moment of stupidity on someones part can change a life forever. All I know is watching that show makes me sweat and my keister tighten up…LOL!

Participantshows up to and including the actual news broadcasts, as the old saying "…if it bleeds, it leads" (in the headlines). You know, living in Florida, as a state has a reputation for crazy driving also with the tourists and such. But I live in a town that in population is 2nd to India in East Indians and we, (non-transplants) are always complaining about how EI’s drive here and cause the most accidents statistically, (with no insurance, the stop signs are just pretty baubles on the road, passing on the right, and other nightmares, etc.) and now I know why after seeing a 35 year professional driving veteran refused to drive over there, now I know why the drivers are like this on my local roads and highways…and wonder why the DMV is giving out driver’s licenses, (apparently, there is no DMV there). Makes for interesting heart palpatations just watching and looking at their roads – and you can’t fake the traffic in the show.

ParticipantGabby? She was never on the show for the past few months except for a far and few between three minute scene here and there. (She was one of the few teenyboppers that I liked)

Participanthalf of the "stuff" that goes on there (Vivy in a coffin for four months, twins from a spaceship, Marlena twirling in midair), we all can, (I guess), imagine a huge apartment that goes on forever behind that tiny hallway.
Sort of like the wardrobe in The Lion, the Witch and The Wardrobe…another world back there.

Participantwere before my time (and that was long ago and far away), so the "flashbacks" would bring me up-to-date on Justin and Adrienne and those scenes would be new to me – and maybe that would make me care more about their story lines.
I so detest when Day’s brings back a good character from the golden oldie Day’s and then doesn’t utilize them to their full potential…it’s like the writers get a brain storm (possibly a good one) and then it fizzles out and they just let the character’s drift forever…that’s the way Maggie was to me for a long time, and now, I am so glad they have put her on the front burner of stories.
I know every one has their favorites but if not too many fans are happy with Stephanie’s story line (as it seems from reading everyone’s posts) – they can put her in Switzerland or else only have her on once in a great while…

Participantwith the exception of the electricity going out or a politician pre-empt. but I also don’t think that was Marlena’s place…I seem to remember Marlena saying something about remodeling (?or is that a figment of my imagination) but when my beloved John was run over that happened so I wasn’t really paying attention to her decor. But even with a remodel – what the heck do you do with a second story bedroom? Attic space?

ParticipantChloe? Something like that not good enough? How small is Salem that Mel can’t find her first house? Does it have to be a Karikis (sp) or DeMira type mansion for their little love nest (that’s not going to last any way knowing Days – I’m surprised the writers haven’t taken that marriage a part already). Why would Mel want to go live in Victor’s home, (besides the servants, etc.). Phillip and Mel haven’t ever lived alone – always been at Maggies, so is this story line suppose to bring everyone closer together? Just not seeing a newly wed couple (with money) not wanting or actively looking for a place of their own? Not even a loft or penthouse available in Salem any where anymore? Must be a popular town.

Participantthe writers once again – they want to take the story line somewhere and don’t care if they drive off the road to get there.
