remainder of the goings on in Salem, got a bit misty-eyed at the show today. That is two weeks in a row writers that you hit it outta the ball park (last Thursday and today)…keep it up! This is the kind of story and writing of "good ol’ Days" that I love and missed!!!
her medical credentials??? In Salem it seems that you are a street sweeper one day and can be a brain surgeon the next… LOL!
this story line entirely! This prison episode goes into the catagory list one of the worst story lines in the history of Days and they have had some stinkers!!!
these "new" judges, like you said, at least they are in the music business. I think I’d like to see more revolving guest host judges at least one or two every other week or so – after the initial cattle-call try outs, just so there is no pre-judging on who is the best before the end of the show. Adam, (what-ever his name was), was almost a sure winner it seemed by the judges – up to and including Simon, (and yes, he was talented), but the people voted and the other guy won that one year.
I was there for some of it when Carly and Lawerence were together – but only for a brief time, (think that was around the time I first started watching the show).
And I also remember that dear old Vivy, buried Carly alive, (that story went on for weeks too). Yeah, Lawrence has never been the epitome of kindness or goodnes – he was evil going wayyyyyyyyyy back when. So Carly was and is justified.
I’d say it must run in the family since Vivy is his blood relative. Although, my beloved John was an Alamain, he had the good fortune to get away from Larry and Vivy.
Why is Kayla allowed to be in the room during the hospital "ethics" (not that Salem U Hospital – has ever had any ethics or boundaries), review board? Why would just because she is a doctor be allowed to sit in? The hospital administrator would balk at any outsiders, doctor or not, being in the room as Kayla wouldn’t be bound by any contractual obligation to not to blab to more people about what she heard and saw at the hearing.
I remember him from HSB now that you mention his name…wow, that was a longgggggg time ago for sure!!!
it’s to the point where I suspend belief just like when I watch the Wizard of Oz or something like that…we are never going to get synergy in the SL (collection of different elements working together to produce results not obtainable by any of the elements alone) – we’re not even getting 1 + 1 = 2 in the show. I give up with banging my head against the wall when I watch.

I would hope that they could help heal each other, but I tend to think from past history of Days they will be at each other’s throats for quite a while to come, until Chad and Stef develop a relationship, and EJ is going to step in it by doing his utmost in thwarting any progress Chad and Stefano may make in their family ties.
