for those of you who watch or tape The Young and the Restless, Melanie Thomas Scott (Nikki Newman) is OUT. I am overwhelmed at this and never thought I’d see the day, yadda, yadda:
According to the actress’s Twitter postings,Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki, Y&R) tweeted that she just learned that she will no longer be with the show she has called home for years. Soaptown has learned that June 3rd was the last time we would see Nikki on our screens. On Tuseday she posted the following around June 7."Let me reiterate: I have NEVER asked for a leave of absence from the show. MTS" "Had not been told by ANYONE that that was my last scene,day,show,episode,whatever u want to call it.Time passed.… I returned to work on January 7th (approx) Continued working regularly til 4/28, when I shot what turned out to be my last scene. Last Fri. [June 3] was my last air show. that was shot 5-6 weeks earlier.Of course, no one bothered to tell me that."
why they dumped her? I had heard that Diane was out too but she never really clicked with the audience. Wonder if they are going back to Victor/Ashley now that Tucker is in the coma? Nicky’s affair with Deacon was a huge bust so maybe they are getting rid of her instead of him?
