If not, how can Hope come back from this? A dream…hadn’t thought about that until I read your post!!
You really missed a great performance from Joe. So many people have complined and remarked that he was reading his lines, but today he was really on his game! For the first time in this SL, I actually enjoyed watching. If this indeed was his swan song, he really aced it!!
I didn’t think it could be a dream. However, if it is not, Hope just committed first degree murder!

watching this. All I can see when Hope is this angry is Maria Shriver. Does anyone else see the resemblance?
I saw no indication whatsoever of memory loss, reading cue cards, missing or messing up his lines; JM was terrific!
according to spoilers, there will be a cold-blooded murder coming up. Don’t know if it was supposed to be Stefano or not, but sure looks that way to me.
a slight bit of reading, but it did not ruin the scene. Joe was at his best in months – but then he finally had some meaty dialog to spew!
Given Joe M’s health I’m betting it was the real thing. And the only way I can see Hope surviving this is an eventual trial with her being deemed “insane.” I mean look at what she went through at a bang bang pace – wedding, wedding night near strangulation, long lost Bo thought dead coming back to save the day, at the same time revealing cancer and dying in her arms, then all the biz about Ciara being kidnapped and Hope’s irrational state of mind and behavior. I would call that mental illness as that was no recognizable Hope Brady.
I had to laugh when, after Hope ran down the list of things he had done to her, Stefano said something like "That’s the only time in your life you were interesting!"
however, contrary to what many people believe, that doesn’t get you off Scott-free. You may not go to prison but you do have to be committed to some kind of facility until you are “rehabilitated.”
Yes, it seems to me she could certainly qualify for that plea. Especially the way she screamed when she pulled the trigger, then kept shooting. The only thing I wondered about was, if she is such a crack cop, why did she just shoot him in the chest/shoulder instead of aiming for something vital. He can conceivably recover from that one, depending where the other ones went because we didn’t see them. But my money is that ol’ Stefano has finally “bit the big one.”
assuming Belle will be her lawyer (lol) and she will plead temporary insanity, whereby Hope will be sent to some sort of mental facility. I really believe it will be easy to prove that she was temporarily insane. Good acting by Kristian. I can’t help but believe, though, like Stefano was goading her into shooting, even possibly killing, him. He seems to have lost his desire to live, remembering the other day when he was telling Andre that he was "tired" …. I think he meant he was tired of living his life. Yep, I believe the Phoeix is gone, never to rise from the ashes again. Goodbye, Joe, you will be missed.
