It was noted before about another shooter, and no one has mentioned this lately.
Some suspected Caroline even and with her odd behavior would that make her a likely suspect?
But on the same token how long is Days going to use the "medical problems" as not responsible for actions? They did this with Hope.
But getting back to Sammie. Is this a given or is there any hint of something done the road steering the shooting to someone else?
This bickering back and forth by the way with everyone harping on the same thing again and again is really getting tedious and boring. I hope the writers have a New Year’s resolution to try not to repeat scenes so much with the story stuck in quicksand and not advancing in any way, shape or form. Steohanie fights with Caroline about telling the truth, as did Carly and Chloe. Then EJ and Sammie carry on the same rants……
Let’s get this thing in first gear rather than reverse……
I still think Will shot him, and Sami knows it so she is covering for him, the same as Lucas did before! Or maybe EJ shot himself and knows Sami thinks Will did, so is allowing her to believe it!
We saw Sami enter the Dimera mansion, find EJ passed out on her bed, and shoot him. Those scenes replayed over and over ad nauseam. What makes you guys think the shooter was someone else? Am I missing something?
the gun. We heard the shot. We saw the blood. But we DIDN’T see the actual shot. IIRC, they panned in on Sami’s face..her eyes were closed tight.
there was a silencer on the gun wasnt there? would that be why we didnt see the shot?
Come to think of it it seems like she did look alittle stunned after he was shot, like it jerked her awake after she realized what had happened.
they are going to be clever and actually have someone else have been standing behind Sami (unbeknowst to Sami) or right after Sami left and they shot EJ (I’m guessing). They (writers) like to invent things as they go along. This will be an easy way for them to wrap this story up.
That would mean her gun didn’t fire. You know when you are holding a gun, pull the trigger and it fires.
If they didn’t search the room she might have missed and there’s a bullet in the wall. Did we actually see her pull the trigger? If we didn’t she might have just thought she did. If Stefano had the room searched and cleaned he might know for sure that the bullet from his gun was someplace else in the room.
I’m still thinking about how that whole sequence looked more like a dream scene the way it was filmed that Sami might have thought she actually shot him and not noticed anybody else in the house.
I guess I’m just holding out hope that Sami wasn’t actually the shooter even though she thinks she is.
cops in her family and close family friends (Bo, Hope, Roman, Lexie and Abe, Rafe) that Sami didn’t shoot EJ. I was taught you don’t point your gun unless you are planning to fire.
All of the stuff with mirrors and angles and the possibility of someone else shooting was done to give the writers wiggle room later if they needed to change the direction of the storyline.
Meanwhile, it has kept us busy trying to decide ‘who really shot EJ’. Sami was mad as heck, saw the opportunity and took it. Her only regret is that she failed. JMHO

God knows, we’ve watch the flashback about a hundred or more times, and I still can see no possible, let alone logical, way for it to be anyone other than Sami. Seriously folks, simultaneous gunshots going off at exactly the same millimeter of a second, one hitting it’s target, one missing it. PLUS, if someone had already shot him before Sami got there, he would most likely have already been in a comatose state, so why would he have the convulsing reaction and drop the glass after her shot? Honestly, if they even tried to make it someone else, I would have to think that I watch enough Cartoon Network when my grandkids are here. Sami did it.
for Sami and Rafe by having the whole thing turn out to be she was sleep walking and someone else saw her go in and came in behind her and pulled the trigger of a different gun after she walked out. The gun was missing from the case, but I don’t think they have done any analysis to show it was that gun that shot him, just one similar to it. She might have shot and missed and imagined she shot him. Anyway, the writers have been know to re-write a sceen later to change the whole thing around, like we have no memories.
That’s the way I’m leaning. Sami was so upset she thought about shooting him but didn’t pull the trigger. There was a gunshot and in her state of mind thought she’d actually been the one to fire the shot and got rid of the gun. If she would have left the gun they probably would have found out it hadn’t been fired at all so that means there was another shooter.
The shooter could have been Anna (stranger things have been known to happen), someone EJ screwed in business or even Nicole herself as she had a grudge against him at the time. Who knows, the way Caroline’s been acting lately she might have been the shooter.
it was Stfano’s gun (or EJ’s, whoever it belonged to) from comparing the slugs with another time it was shot. Darn, I can’t remember who or what that was. (Anybody remember?) Anyway, the slugs both had the same markings which is what determined that it was that particular gun that shot him. So they have painted themselves into a corner regarding the weapon that was used.
