OMG. That was great, loved the scene between Sami and RealRafe, then when she opened the door i think she may have done a tripple take! LOVED IT! heck i even smiled when Dan and Jenn were arguing over the mirror or something, and then there was Chloe and the new guy, i sort of like them together from what we’ve seen, although i’m disappointed he doesnt have an aussie accent.
He definitely does have one, although not as strong as E.J.’s British one. He is a real hot number, that’s for sure. As for Sami and Rafe, I couldn’t agree more. I was smiling all through today’s show. Hell, I even rooted for Melanie today when she went off on Abbey, who got on my nerves, especially when just the other day she was telling Jennifer how perfect Daniel was, and how hot he was, and gave her stamp of approval. I think Jennifer needs to take her down a peg or two. Can’t wait till the rest of this week airs, when Rafe really starts to get a lot of memories back. Now, all they have to do is get revenge on Junior and fatha’ and I’ll be one happy camper, and I DON’T care if it takes all summer to do it, as long as it’s done. From spoilers I’ve read, E.J. is going to wish more than once that he never followed Stefano’s orders, and he’s going to have more than just Rafe and Sami to worry about.
my heart today. He was so sweet with Sami! The actor is doing an amazing job with the character subleties to make us believe he is two people.
I guess I’ll have to listen more closely the next time he’s on. Yeah he definetly was a hottie! and i actually see Chemistry between them already. and I agree, I’m actually excited about the spoilers for a change.
He definitely has an Ossie accent. I think it may have been because he just didn’t say much. But that was certainly a weird scene. I have no idea (other than the spoilers I’ve read) where this can be going. And, drunk or not, Chloe has really sunk to a new low to hop into bed with a perfect stranger. (He IS kinda cute though, isn’t he?)
I absolutely LOVED the Sami/Rafe scenes. OMG, Rafe has overpowered every single thing Rafe2 has irritated me with. It was just so touching, almost enough to beat out the John/Marlena dock reunion scene…almost, but not quite. (Did you notice how red Ali got when she started to cry?) I found myself wanting them to hurry up and just hug each other already! Galen has done such a tremendous job in these roles. I don’t know how he can so successfully play two such diverse people. Everybody joing me… Emmy! Emmy! Emmy!
Maybe i was just not paying that much attention with their scenes. i cant stand drunken slutty Chloe.
I cant wait for today to see more of Sami and Rafe!
I just love the way they did this. Rafe was so great, and Sami impressed me as well. Her memories of Rafe and her when they were in the safe-house were a great way to show her angst about everything that’s been happening to her over the past months, and to see it finally pay off for her when the realization of what’s been done to her and to Rafe will be one of the most exciting ends to a story line that I can remember feeling in years. Ali and Galen have a terrific friendship outside of the show, and you can see that in their acting. But Galen is the one who, I completely agree, deserves the Emmy for this dual role, and I hope he gets it. I’ve seen other actors take on dual roles, but not one could make me believe they were two separate and completely different individuals. Galen Gering did just that. He has been outstanding. BUT, where we will be going in the next round with this story line will be "switch 2", where I read that Rafe and Sami, along with Roman and Bo, will have Rafe take over the role of Rafe 2 to get the evidence on the DiMeras, and that’s where the next part of the story will take us, and I, for one, won’t be bored with it one bit. Bring it on. Bring them dawgs down, Rafe.
I would have liked it better if Chloe had passed out and nothing happened. That he ended up taking care of her instead of having a one nighter. It might help redeem Chloe in my eyes.
I thought Eileen Davidson did just as good a job in her dual roles, not only playing two but five and she got no Emmy. We just have to face it, the Emmys don’t like Days and probably never will. But that’s okay, we, the fans, appreciate him and we’re the ones who count.
Monday’s show confirmed it , I love me some Rafe, (I even saved it so I could watch it again) He has been Great doing the duel roles ..I agree Emmy time for him.
I loved the scenes with Sami and Rafe and Rafe as well. He is doing an awesome job and you can totally see the two different characters. I am truly amazed.
Ok Patti and Bonbon, after watching the flashbacks from today’s show I clearly heard the accent. he is a hottie, and i like the fact that he may not be related to anyone!!
