To do that to Marlena and Eric?  He might lose Maggie over this.  Very bad idea.  Brady could’ve been shown the video privately even after the wedding.  It could always have been annulled.  I know it’s for dramatic effect but Victor hasn’t been this cruel in a long time and I fear he’s going to pay a high price for this.

As ruthless as he may have been at one time, and as one-minded as he may be about saving his grandson, I can’t see his character doing this to Marlena & Eric…particularly in such a public way. Too often the writers do not let the characters act “in character”!!!!

Victor was always a ruthless man who was willing to do whtatever necessary to accomplish his goal. His goal was saving Brady from Kristen.

How ironic is it that he told Marlena it was not Daniel because he would NEVER embarass him that way, but thought nothing about ruining Eric’s reputation and using Marlena to do it. This just goes to prove that Victor is cruel and callous!

If Maggie can forgive this, she is the one out of character!!!

What was he thinking? he should be ashamed of himself.

This is VERY in line with who Victor really is.  His ONLY goal was to protect his grandson and Victor has always been an all or nothing character.  He’s never been one to do something differently b/c of how his family might perceive it.  That’s not who he is.  However, I do agree that if Maggie is okay with it then it is out of character for her (as someone already mentioned.)  Plus, in all honestly, it’s not as though he and Marlena are besties.  He’s not going to care much how it affects her or her son.

that when he saw Father Eric, his expression changed to one of "Oh no. I can’t believe it." So why he never bothered to tell Marlena and then change the subject when she asked, it seemed strange. I guess he will say he cared more about stopping the wedding than letting her know it was her son on the video.

How can he justify embarassing Eric like that, or even Brady in public?

because on the one hand I would have expected the softer Vic of late to have more respect for Marlena AND a priest. But on the other hand he still has that bad guy element and has been single-minded, you could say obsessed, about “saving” Brady from Kristen. It will be interesting to see the possible fallout regarding Mags.

Now I understand–Victor thought Eric was consenting. No wonder he didn’t think he needed to protect him. However, I still feel that maggie will object.

But even if he was consenting, it’s Marlena’s son and Brady’s brother.  Still cruel and Maggie will object.

At least Nicole is now exonerated and Eric owes her a huge apology after he prays to God to strike Kristin down with a bolt of lightening.

Eric’s guilt about not believing Nicole plus the great stress he will be under (especially if the bishop orders him a leave of absence) will lead to some romantic scenes between these two. What does everyone think?

, paraphrasing, look what Kristen and Eric did to Brady, I really did want to hit him. Didn’t pretty much everyone know about Eric’s “illness” and how there was no explanation for what happened? Did Vic really think that maybe Eric and Kristen were doing drugs that night or something? Please Victor, you deserve to have your butt kicked by Maggie. It was disgusting what he did to Marlena and Eric. But then this whole storyline with raping a priest really did not sit well with me.
