     to see if Will was going to produce ID but it looked like he did it off screen.  As far as the embosser, they did away with those years ago because it doesn’t show up on photocopies.

    I think many people do not understand exactly what a notary does.  They don’t have to verify anything other than that the person proves who he says he is.

    When I was a notary I had to also have them sign my book but guess that isn’t done anymore either.  At least not here in FL.

    or an inked stamp that prints the seal of the State of Ohio and all the other info requiring a notary to sign and put the expiration date of their notary certificate.  I have both.

    Of course that was 12 years ago.  I stopped using the embosser because it was just so clunky to carry around.  I don’t know what the laws in FL are but everything I’ve had notarized here, they used a stamp.  And I didn’t have to sign or book or anything else.
