romance would be wonderful! I always thought after an appropriate amount of mourning time for Shawn that Caroline and Victor would finally become a couple, but Maggie and Victor would be a great pairing too! Especially, delightful would be to see Vivian (as much as I love her antics) melt into a puddle when finding out. Victor deserves a nice woman, (even though he’s been a rat for many a year, he’s behaved himself fairly well over the past few months), and I would just love the story lines that these two could do – and I really think that Maggie could handle Vivian in no uncertain terms. It would be fun-fun-fun to watch!
but there is definitely an interest on Victor’s part. He looks at her in a way that we haven’t seen since his days with Caroline. And clearly Maggie is starting to warm to him, although she was most definitely against him when he came to her home on a prior occasion. She stands her ground with him, but in a respectful way that tells him in no uncertain way …. ‘I’m right; you’re wrong, and don’t you ever forget it.’ I hope they do test the waters here just to see what Vivian will do. Hopefully it will make her forget about eliminating Carly for a while and concentrate on what will happen to her sorry butt if Maggie and Victor do pair up …. she’ll be out on her a** in no time flat. Victor won’t tolerate her going after Maggie the way she has Carly or Chloe. No, he would be extremely protective of Maggie, and Viv has to know that, so I’m anxious to see what will happen there.
I thought this might be coming earlier on and now it looks even more possible. Since I doubt Days will have Mags and Vic jump into bed (or would they??) I’m hoping to see some interesting viewing of this developing pair.
However, what will happen with Vic and Viv and the impending nuptials?I think Victor and Maggie would be a great couple eventually. I just hope the writers don’t rush it. Maggie is not the type to jump into a relationship too quickly. Out with Vivian; let her find another victim.

I actually would prefer a Maggie/Victor pairing over a Caroline/Victor pairing. It’s been so long since they’ve shown Caroline and Victor together, and Caroling just seems too blue collar for Victor. Maggie and Victor both have a lot of flair and upper society savy, and it would be fun to see Maggie try to tame the bad in Victor while he helps her through her illness.
I would also like to see Victor and Maggie together. While I really like Vivian for her strange flair, I liked her with Ivan. Victor and Maggie seem to be more equal in their sophistication.
jealous when she saw Maggie and Victor today! And Victor was magnificent (as always) in not taking Vivian’s guff by telling her to get lost he wasn’t finished with his conversation with Maggie. And Maggie was no slouch either even laying the the hospital bed! I hope they expand this story between Maggie and Victor! I think there’s a possibility of a spark there!
who spoke to you like that? OMG! But I loved it. He really put her in her place. Still though, if my fiance had said those things to me, I would have been mortified and really read him the riot act for disrespecting me that way.
I’m amazed at the underlying emotions Victor and Maggie portrayed yesterday. I guess that just attests to the talents these two actors have. I’m really looking forward to a relationship between them. I’d never considered this paring before because I always thought Victor would only ever love Caroline, but, I guess not. (I wonder if there’s some reason ether of them doesn’t want to pursue it.) I just hope they don’t make it too mushy and sexual. Even though I’m old too, I get turned off by that kind of action in older people.
The way he can play both hard and soft is a testament to his talent. That gentle look in his eyes with Maggie was wonderful to see.
about Victor and what he said to Vivian (and believe me – she gives me the giggles no matter what she does), however, if Victor didn’t speak to Vivian that way and coddled her – when would she ever get a clue?
Vivian is on one track and one track only when she sets her mind to something revenge on Carly, or marrying Victor.
Why Victor ever decided to marry Vivy is a total mystery to me. I wish he’d ended up with Caroline – it would have been interesting to see Bo come back and find something going on between his mother and his father. Plus they always had that something between them, I would have like the story line to at least explore it. However, Victor and Maggie will be cool too…
I don’t want to see the sexual antics of the older or younger crowd – it’s OK if they allude to it – and EJ, Rafe, Brady and even and Bo can take their shirts off anytime – although, not like they did a few years ago where every scene was off with their shirts just to show beefcake – but when the story line calls for it, heck yeah – this "old lady" here is rewinding to see it again!
Even though Victor and Caroline have a past and he’ll always love her I can’t see them romantically linked. Victor is very sophisticated and Caroline is a homemaker and we never see her in a glamorous situation. When everyone goes to Chez Rouz for New Years Eve dressed in their best formalwear Caroline’s home babysitting. I don’t think she’d fit into the lifestyle Victor has and I don’t see him managing the pub or acting like Shawn did which fits in with Caroline’s lifestyle.
Hope that makes sense.
I too never thought of a Maggie/Victor pairing but if done right this could be the start of a beautiful romance based on respect and honesty (since there’s nothing Victor is or has done that Maggie isn’t aware of) and not 2 people getting hot under the sheets.
IIRC, Victor agreed to marry Vivian if she stopped her plan to do Carly in. So, she was thrilled, but decided to let someone else do her dirty work for her.
acquiesced to marrying Vivy, my question was more like asked in disbelief – as in "WHY Victor – WHY? Why would you ask Vivian to marry you?" Victor is a powerful man, and used to getting what he wants – why would he kowtow to Vivian’s whims – it never made any sense at all to me, he could have taken care of the Carly matter with other means at his disposal.
