Seriously? So Marlena and Caroline are going to lecture Sami about "Being with the one she loves even when there are problems."!!!!! I cannot. There’s no way either of these women would ever endorse Sami’s relationship with EJ. I call BS on the whole thing!
I believe that Caroline expressed her belief that Sami really did love EJ and vice versa and pretty much encouraged Sami to be with him. Also, she cannot throw stones about cheating since Bo is really Victor’s son.
And if this old memory doesn’t fail me I think Marlena pretty much came to accept the situation especially after all EJ did to help Will and Sonny get married. Not that it makes it right either way, but I do believe they both offered, if not approval, understanding that EJ loved Sami and Sami loved EJ.is hurt more than anger, IMO, and I’m pretty sure Caroline saw that, too. Sami was going to make sure that E.J. didn’t see through her mask of tragedy, but she sure didn’t fool Grandma! Actually, Kate was much more of a nasty shrew to E.J. today, more-so than Sami. It just didn’t hurt him the way Sami hurts him, because he has no love for Kate in any capacity. E.J. has been so castrated right now, I don’t think even Stefano’s return, if there is one, will be able to talk him into taking back control of his manhood; but, I’m thinking Kristen sure will try. Then, if again, he’s so stripped of his pride and so broken right now, it’s probable that no one but Sami can put Humpty Dumpty together again.
While I agree they both begrudgingly came to accept her love for EJ I find it hard to believe after finding out he cheated they would run to support him just because they each have affairs in their past. Just not what either one believes is in Sami’s best interest. It reeks of plot overriding actual character history as well as lazy writing.
she said it when she told her she wanted her (Sami) to set herself free. I don’t believe she meant from E.J., but from her hateful revenge and absolute plan to destroy everyone. But, there’s no doubt she knows Sami better than anyone, including her mother, and Caroline still supports her, regardless. She’s probably the only one who does. And, from what I saw today, I still believe I was right when I said none of Sami’s actions are because of revenge. She is broken, in her heart and in her soul, yet she still asked her grandmother, “why can’t I stop loving him?” She can’t, no more than he can ever stop loving her. And E.J. is a broken man as well, as evidenced by the way he let Rafe and Jennifer rant on without saying much in return. He feels he deserves it, and he does. They may still go on with further revenge scenes, but in the end, they will reunite, which is why I still think the “faked” death will be his. She made me cry today. Ali’s acting was wonderful today! She was so believable to me. I loved her and Caroline’s scenes today.
Well I for one thing that Sami is a fool if she takes EJ back. How can she trust him? He has a wondering eye. He never loved Abigal– so that makes it ok? I think that it makes it worse. Ehy did he have an affair withAbigail? To shut her up and keep her from going to Hope? To "reliever" his tension cause he wasn’t getting any from Sami? To prove that he was in control?
Caroline and Marlena were in love with Victor and John when they had their affairs. Yes, Caroline satyed with Shawn and lied to him for many years that BO was his son!!!!!
Remember when he was going to marry Nicole and became smitten with Taylor? EJ will never change, if he doesn’t get his way, he will cause pain!
I think that Caroline was wrong to tell Sami to stand by her man and Sami is a fool if she does it!
it makes it exactly what it was, a misguided and certainly not well thought out error on both E.J.’s and Abigail’s part. No one just ever thought it would affect Sami this way, since she’s been through so much with E.J. and the things they have done in the past to each other should make this look like water on a duck’s back. The clear and very concise actions on her part yesterday, as well as E.J.’s sudden quietly admonishing his actions to himself as well as to others tells me they should be willing to get through this, but they decided to let Sami (AS) go out with a bang. At least it appeared that way to me until yesterday. Now, I definitely think they will get through this, but not before something bigger than this happens to one or both of them. I’m anxious to see how they will leave, whether I’m right or wrong, but I think they just might truly love one another after all.
Yes, the scenes between Caroline and Sami were absolutely spectacular. Finally Sami’s pain came through loud and clear. You couldn’t help but feel so deeply for her in those moments. I was blown away by her raw emotions. Bravo to both of them for such poignant, painful, and realistic performances.
How many times does it take for someone to change and get it right?
I think that Sami has been devasted by the fact that it never would occurred to her that he would cheat on her. They have been through fighting, kidnapping, pretend death, almost death, shooting, etc. Never cheating!!!
That is why the pain is so raw. I guess that if Sami can look past all of that, she might stay with EJ. But how can she TRUST him again? How many times can one be hurt before it is Too much?
is probably a lost cause simply because Days wanted something explosive to lead to the Sami/EJ exit.
But as was seen today there are cracks in the Sami anti- Ej defense system so I think we’ll be seeing this back and forth before the end. I’m just speculating these two will go off into the sunset as a family.
