when has she ever been THAT close to Nick. I mean it’s not like she’s on enough to have developed any great love for her “cousin.” Same with Abbey. How many times in the past have we seen Abbey or Julie with Nick? It’s ridiculous, IMO.
Is everyone knows what nick did to Will & Gabi and yet they’re all surprised Gabi would be upset to see nick. Uh, yea, I’d be upset too! It’s pretty ridiculous to me.
I was just talking to my mother, who is almost 85, and she said, “Oh, I can’t stand that Julie! And why are they giving her a bigger part in the story now?”
When were Abbey and Julie ever that close to Nick, except for when he first came back and Julie was pushing for Hope to do whatever she could to get him released. But all that screaming and moaning as if she knew he was dead, OMG, I just wanted to smack her. And even then when he admitted what he had done to Gabi Julie still acted as if he should be given a pass. Thank you Hope for laying down the “law” to him about why she really had no reason to believe him, even though Julie looked horrified that Hope would say such a thing to Nick.
Once again, Abby’s dire need to find out the truth about Nick was outright obsessive. It seems she barely knew Nick. If she’s not obsessing over some guy, she’s obsessing about Nick and his "disappearance." She’s such a downer.
After he went to jail for murder, then he came back a changed man and tried to trick someone into giving up their baby, then he was a changed man again and tried to manipulate Gabi into moving to NYC with him, but he’s still a good guy? Give me a break, Julie! If he were my family, I would have snuck out the back door as soon as I saw him in the church. I definitely wouldn’t be telling him how glad I was that he was back in town.
Plus, Julie was telling Gabi how she knows she must still have feelings for Nick, then wondered why she was acting weird after that. Julie knew that Nick had tried to keep the baby from it’s father (also her family) and that the marriage had been annulled. Why on earth would she be grilling Gabi about her feelings for her former husband then wonder why she was having an odd reaction?
One thing I did enjoy was when Hope asked EJ when he was suddenly so fond of Gabi and he brought up his sons cancer and how she helped save him. It was a good throwback to their story and made sense.
