Just caught a rerun of All in the Family from 1974 with Joseph Mascolo. Have to say I think he looks even better today than he did 37 years ago.  Episode was calledl Gloria’s Boyfriend and he played the father of a mentally challenged young man who Archie causes to be fired.

I saw that episode not long ago. I was in my office and DH had it on in another room. I went out to look and didn’t recognize the actor, but I sure knew that voice. They didn’t show any acting credits at the end, so I looked it up on the computer and was shocked that it was Joe.

I totally agree that he looks better today then back then.

I remember seeing him in Sharky’s Machine with Burt Reynolds.  He played a cop or detective and it was so strange to hear him talk without the accent.

I love him and I love his character on Day’s.  I also love Stefano with Kate, I hope they don’t seperate them again.  There is just no other villian like Stefano!

He played Ellen Brody’s boss in Jaws 2.  He was a real estate developer.

in what 1975?  I was born in Florida, spent a lot of time in Italy on the Mediterranean Sea, been to Maui several times and I live in California – "Jaws" ruined the all the oceans for me because I can’t dunk my tooties in the water without thinking of it about it at first.  Even if Stefano was in the movie and took care of all the sharks in the water – I’d still have that hesitation before diving in…

that you’re more likely to be eaten by a mountain lion than being attacked by a shark?  Just thought I’d let you know so now, not only will you be afraid of going in the water, you’ll also be afraid of going into the woods, which are plentiful in your neck of the woods (pun intended).  :o)

BTW, Joe was also in a movie, I believe the name of it was Yes Georgio, with Pavrotti that was mildly successful.  I saw it on a plane once.  I’m surprised it isn’t listed in his IMDB credits.

And have even have a better chance of being struck by lightning!  It’s one of those irrational fears that even though I snorkel, used to ablone dive and such, it still gives me pause for just about ten seconds.  Even pools.  Yes, even pools.  My parents had their pool remodeled and went with a dark bottom pool – I still thought of it when I used their pool.  Just when I first get into the water, the thought fleetingly just pops into my head…then I get over it.  But it’s so unreasonable since I saw that movie 36 years ago and still think of it.   It’s like the monster under the bed or in the closet when you are a little kid…which is why I don’t watch the scary movies…  I suppose Stefano should scare me more with all of his shinanigans!  LOL!

Even though the Loma Prieta earthquake was 12 years ago, I still am uncomfortable stopping my car under an overpass, even here in FL.  And it was at least a year before I could comfortably take a shower.  Our brains do funny things to us, don’t they?
