the show is boring the heck out of me. I really don’t like any story line at all at the moment. Just a bunch of unhappiness & tension.
I can’t wait till September!
The Rafe2 story, the Taylor/EJ/Nicole story, Maggie and Victor, drag, drag, drag. Let’s get a move on for gosh sakes!
I like some SL and some of the foundations of SL. I like the Rafe/Bo/Sami/etc SL and the speed of it is fine. I also love Maggie and Victor together and while I don’t want the relationship to move faster, I do want the repeat conversations to stop. I like how slow it is going, because that is real life. None of this jump into bed after two dates, proposed to after 5 dates, and married on the 7th date. I am so sick of those relationships!!!
and although I do think it will take the entire summer to reach finality, I just wish they would explain the concept of things a little better and get to what I really want to see, and that’s the DiMeras being taken down. When Nicole’s lawyer and Bo opened that box today and all it contained was Nicole’s Last Will and Testament, I groaned out loud. Another lawyer in the DiMeras pockets, no doubt. I know they need proof, but must it take so damn long to get? Maybe Brady has the right idea — if you want something done, just do it yourself. I have no doubt, however, that this story will take up the entire summer and will not conclude until August sweeps, which is when we will see the start of the new writers’ work.
We were complaining earlier that the true EJ would get to the lawyer, so doesn’t it make sense that the lawyer was paid off? It goes with EJ and who he is. It also explains why he gloated being with Taylor in front of Nicole, because he had the proof taken care of. It makes total sense now and it is what we all wanted, which was the real EJ to show up and put Nicole in her place.
it’s the phase we’re in now with Bo, Hope, Sami and Rafe and the reasons behind what they are (or are not) doing that has me feeling less than thrilled with the storyline right now. I feel like I’m watching them chase their own tails, just going round and round, with no end in sight. I really am not happy about watching these tortoise-paced attempts by them to catch the bad guys, and the futile result being one dead end after another. I guess I just mean show me some progress once in a while.
We agree with the Will SL, but this one I disagree. I like seeing all the puzzle pieces develop and them slowly coming together. Like adding Brady into the mix and how they need to resolve that issue while they also resolve this one to keep Brady out of jail and the fued between families to not start up again. I like how they added the twist of bringing Nicole in, but in the end she was no help. Overall I feel they have added stuff to this SL to slowe it down, but they haven’t repeated stuff. They are moving foward with new plans, hoping something will pay out so they can get EJ. We know in the end they won’t, EJ can’t go to jail. But we also know they can get far enough along that Brady also won’t go to jail and EJ won’t go after the real Rafe or Kirakis. We know they will get enough to threated jail and scare EJ into going with their demands. Lets face it, a Dimera cannot go to jail or a Kirakis for that matter. Because then they would have to leave the show and well, who doesn’t want to see EJ or Brady on the screen?
