I found it amusing/somewhat ironic today that Vivian called "Gus", Augustas.  Wasn’t her character’s name "Augusta" on Santa Barbara?

I’ve only watched Day’s, so I never saw her in another role.  I would love to see her in a drama or other show just to see a "different" Vivian.

like Vivian in some ways.  She was married with children on SB.  She didn’t approve of something her daughter did or someone she was involved with so she served the pet homing pigeon for a meal.  That would be the strangest thing I remember from her character.  I remember her as being ‘*itchy’ and a drinker too.  She was a part of one of the two core families: the Lockridge and the Capwells. Her daughter was involved with one of the Capwell boys.  Her husband didn’t love her on that show either.

KC and these writers took a marvelously talented actress and turned her into a cartoon.  Vivian and Ivan were so much fun to watch, and they were ideal villains and partners in crime.  Vivian and Gus are an embarrassment, especially Vivian (there is no use for Gus, as far as I can see, at all).  When Louise Sorrell left the show the first time, she swore she would never return.  Now, I’m sure she wishes she hadn’t.

his Madam back and let them have adventures like they used to!  I’d love for Ivan to come storming back into Salem and tell Victor – "She is my Madam, you cannot have her!"

to let Ivan have his Madam.   He would probably toss in an all paid trip to the other side of the world just to get rid of Vivian.
