I thought the sl of the cop shooting was so Sami would be in prison. And she only was in the jail for one night(I think). So she gets a free pass(wonder if E.J. was involved?) And now she is all smiles and thinking she is a hero. I don’t know why Chad wants to protect Sami. He needs to be thinking about the video that he destroyed. And also, Sonny and his involvement. Is that ever going to be revealed?
Jennifer – I have always really liked Jennifer, but she just isn’t the same girl she was before. I wonder if she has a loose crew Why would she want to trust Kristin and be her friend. That was she thinking. She needs to assert herself and take charge of the lying, arrogant son of hers.
Speaking of Kristin(ugh), the reason she(E.D.) has been so good(not my opinion) in the part is she got the MEATEST part.
I am guessing that the video of Sami and Bernardi will surface and the case will be reopened. I think that Adrienne has the video on her phone. Sonny sent it to here accidently when sending a video of the baby. Not a good commerical fro Samsung- sending something by accident!!!
it could also be that Abbey just cannot keep the secret that Sonny, Chad and E.J. so desperately want her to keep abut the video. E.J. thinks they destroyed it, but he is unaware of the fact that Chad had already sent a copy of it to Sonny, and it is now thought to be that he transferred it to Adrienne, albeit by mistake, thinking he sent a copy of Ariana Grace’s photo. The way Adrienne has been trying to split up Sonny and Will, you just know that she will eventually find it and that will be the end of Sami’s freedom.
The thing that tics me off more than anything is that for once Sami is telling the truth, and the only reason she’s covering up the fact that Bernardi was a crooked cop is to save Will from going to jail for shooting E.J. She knows that Bernardi was working for Stefano, who is the real culprit in all of this, but she will go to jail for not revealing everything she knows but refused to reveal, whether it was to Justin or to the grand jury. Maybe that’s why I can’t feel sorry for Bernardi’s widow, because her husband was a dirty cop on Stefano’s payroll and was paid by Stefano DiMera to castrate Rafe Hernandez. Of course, the viewing audience knows this, but Mrs. Bernardi and the Salem PD don’t …., not yet, anyway!!!
It shouldn’t matter that Sammi had a previous interaction with Bernardi because it is irrelevant to this case. Sammi didn’t see the assailant’s face & was only trying to protect Rafe. He could have been anybody, as far as Sammi was concerned.
