I was always a huge Bo and Hope fan and hated when Peter Reckell left BUT – it’s been over 2 years and I really like Hope and Aiden together, so at this point I would not like to see him return.

short comment if he’s thinking longterm or just to clean up his departure. Since Peter has declared time and again he would only return for closure he’s going to look a bit foolish if his return is permanent.
Right now it’s out of sight out of mind for me. I doubt I’m in the majority there.

the talks, the negotiations, the break-downs, the false hopes …. Bo’s been gone some two years now. I vote NO, BO …. this was PR’s choice. Now he’s at it again! I don’t know what these writers have in store for Aiden, but I see real chemistry between him and Hope, so unless he (Aiden) turns out to be some sort of homicidal maniac who would be detrimental to Hope and Ciara, I say PR can stay gone. Why bring him back for closure only to agree to the divorce and once again destroy Hope and Ciara. Stop testing the waters, Peter, especially when it’s simply about “SHOW ME THE MONEY”.

AFAIC, Bo is now dead to me. He’s been gone long enough that I don’t care anymore and I’m really looking forward to the Hoden storyline development. I am thoroughly enjoying it now, especially the slow and steady way they are progressing.

I want him to stay gone. Quit jerking our chains! He could have made a deal in the last 2 years. Now that the fans are ready to move on from Bo and Hope, he wants to come back. Pure BS. Just stay gone!

I need a job – please take me back now that (a) the money is right cuz Ali/James are leaving OR (b) I’ll take what I can get b/c I can’t find a job anywhere else.

I’m okay with him gone – Bo/Hope have been out of sight out of mind for so long and CERTAINLY have not been the supercouple they ever were even when on the show.  Sorry PR – I don’t think anyone cares :(

He chose to go because he wouldn’t take a cut in pay even though he had been off the front burner for a long time.

After all this time, he is not longer needed. He shouldn’t come back even to "end" it, cause it will only cause pain for Ciara and Hope. Actually, I am surprised that they didn’t just notify Hope that he was Killed while undercover! She has every right to end this sham of a marriage and start anew.

    His time is over.

I agree.  Stay gone, Peter, stay gone.  Nobody needs any more closure; not Hope and not us.  It’s been dealt with and done.

I don’t think his possible return is because he needs a job.  He wouldn’t have left if that was the case.  I think he wants a proper good bye for the character.  DOOL could possibly have brought back the actor that played Bo in the early 90’s.  He just left General Hospital.  I don’t think Peter wants a sloppy exit for Bo.

and this is just temporary. Of course even if he does return Bo wouldn ‘t show up til spring the way Days is so far ahead in taping. Plenty of time for Hope and Aiden to get cozy.

this topic is a dead horse and we should stop beating it. That article from Peter sounds to me like a plea for sympathy or for him to keep his hook in our noses but I, for one, have none. He made his bed, now he can sleep in it for as long as he likes.

for me is how PR keeps working both ends. Saying no way would he return, but only to “close” the Bo era, yet why would a short term stint be ever so difficult to negotiate? Does he demand THAT much cash just for a brief run? He can’t align so heavily with the fans yet dig in his heels over money.
It sounds like he has been carrying a two year grudge over Days’ refusal to hand over the mega bucks and now he decides with the termination of As and JS contracts he has leverage to work the money tree. If I were Days I’d say forget it Bo.
