Sweet Lord! What the hell was Jen wearing today? A yellow shirt with some type of purple lacy camisole over it topped off with a red sweater???? No colors that go together, no styles that go together and her hair! Dull and lifeless in that horrid side bun with the pale lipstick! She looks more corpselike than Nick! She used to be so pretty. Why must they make her look so frumpy and unattractive? She’s like the antiChloe. Chloe was always overdone but Jen just looks horrible 90% of the time.
I just saw the pants!!! Paisley pants! Hideous! This whole ensemble made me long for her bell bottoms! Awful. Fire wardrobe immediately.
Look at Homely Sami. She looks like an old timey housewife. It’s strange Jennifer gets picked on all the time about her appearance and Sami looks even worse.
I so agree with you. I just kept staring at that outfit yesterday wondering who forgot to turn on the lights when they picked it out.
Usually she is dressed very stylishly, I think, but when they have certain “at home” scenes it looks like they have been to Goodwill for her stuff. For example, the day of the EJ daydream about Sami finding out about Abby she had on jeans, a shirt and sweater that certainly didn’t look very stylish. But other days she looks like she stepped out of a fashion magazine. Although I do think there is something off about her hair since she darkened it. It just never looks as full and shiny as it did when she was blonde.
I don’t always look like a fashion plate while I’m at home either. In fact, sometimes I look quite dowdy.
There are “at home” days when I look like a bag lady! and the rare day when I am in my nightgown and robe all day.
to be ageing well to me at all. She looks washed out most of the time, and to be honest, there are days when her clothes are the least of her worries, IMO. On the other hand, Sami (ok, AS) does dress down when she’s at home in the mansion, but she at least dresses appropriately for what her scenes call for. For instance, when her scenes required her to be at her job, I think she looked stunning. She has those gorgeous ice blue eyes, and certain colors bring them out beautifully. I agree, her hair is too dark now. She needs to put the blonde highlights back. I like the darker blonde with the lighter blonde highlights in her hair very much. It’s the platinum blonde I don’t care for at all.
It’s just that especially that one day it was a rather old-fashioned looking set of clothing, more like the 80’s than today. And certainly not high quality which I would expect her to sport even on an off day, Heck the day she was taking the kids on the bus trip she wore heels and a tight dress as I recall.
I really liked Sami’s dress-down look yesterday. I loved that snakeskin-print blue blouse with the jeans and I liked that she didn’t have a lot of make-up on. I thought she looked very natural. I don’t like her look as much when she wears a lot of makeup. I really liked this look and I like her hair color.
