would jump at the chance Will is being given…why isn’t he? It solves all his problems except his ridiculous idea that this baby will be raised not knowing who it is. GMAB
He’s having a problem with Nick raising his baby and the child never knowing who it’s real father is. What would have happened if Gabby had decided to give up the baby? Someone else would be raising it then so how is it any different than Nick being its father?
I don’t know why he just doesn’t let Nick legally adopt the baby and he gives up all claim. That way he wouldn’t have to lie to anyone because it WOULD be Nick’s (which everyone already thinks) and Nick’s name would be on the birth certificate. He should remember he wouldn’t have even had a baby if Gabby had gone through with the abortion.
this is all coming at him at the speed of light. He’s just now figured out his sexuality, is in a new relationship, and most of all has a complicated past to put it mildly. Not to mention keeping this big of a secret is weighing on him. I think all these factors, and having to see this child freqently which he likely wouldn’t if it were adopted out makes his dilemma understandable.
But most of all, this is a soap and we have to create conflict.he would realize, it’s not what you know that hurts, it’s what you don’t know. I say get it out in the open, Will, before you lose both you kid and the love of your life.
biological child he will have, it’s not like he and Sonny will be able to produce their own child. At the least it could be a child of one or the other with a surrogate. I can see this story coming back later with Will fighting for custody of his child so that he can raise the child with Sonny (assuming they are still together).
what’s going to happen here. I don’t see it being a win-win no matter what is done. I’m sure Gabi won’t give up her baby for Will and Sonny to raise, Will doesn’t want to give up his rights, there is no perfect solution.
all the lies that were told and the struggle between Sami and Lucas while he was growing up. I can certainly understand him not wanting to put his own child through that kind of trauma.
the only way this is going to work out is if Will relinquishes his "ownership" of this baby completely and entirely? Like he is giving it up for adoption? He can’t possibly expect to be part of its life and still keep people from knowing it’she is the father. If he decides he IS going to be involved, of course, that kid will end up the same way he did, bouncing back and forth between parents. Like I said before, there is no solution to this situation.
Days is looking to make the most drama here so reason will fall out the window. I can see this SL playing out a looong time.
that’s what Will wants to do…but wanting and doing are so very far apart, especially in this type of situation. I can’t see him standing on the sidelines and not being part of his child’s life. So, Days will play this out and we’ll see Will going through agony for the decision he made to step totally out of the picture.
there’s nothing "sure" about it; we still don’t know what Chad’s revenge is going to throw into this mess, but I’m sure Chad, as well as his family, are not going to sit back and watch Gabi have her cake and eat it, too. I’m afraid that more than just Gabi will wind up broken-hearted because of Chad’s determination to seek his revenge. Oh, well, I’m sure we’re in for lots of drama before the year ends.
This storyline is all for the benefit of a EJ-Sami-Rafe storyline? EJ helps Chad to get revenge on Gabi. When Will realizes Chad is going after her, he tells everyone he’s the father, then Sami and Rafe jump in to protect Gabi and the baby?
Actually, since they are not married, Will has no claim on the child unless he signs a paper stating he is the father. Also, if Nick and Gabi marry before the child is born, the child is legally Nick’s.
