…yeah I know it’s a crap rag tabloid, but in the 11/23 issue there was a full-page article about Bo – and Stefano – being killed off. It says Bo said he’d come back if he could get killed off permanently (in other words, they’ll have a body). As for Joe, he’s "suffered health woes this year, including a scret hospitalization". He "uses a wheelchair and a walker, works only 2 days a week" and has a "hard time remembering his lines". (So Sad!!!) It sez "producers decided they had to let him go". And, it "was a very sad day when he taped his gruesome death scene". But, "in tru soap tradition, producers changed their minds two weeks later….Stefano character is coming back from the dead…as a ghost". Ay yi yi…So there you have it folks, from a reputable piece of journalism. Everything we speculated! (And don’t judge LOL – I don’t buy this magazine…it’s part of a reading exchange at my work….)
it appears to coincide with what we have been seeing. If Joe M cannot do his job properly then he himself should be acknowledging this and retire. As for Days bringing him back as a ghost, I don’t imagine that could be longterm. I could see that getting old quickly.
Does Jack return as a spirit? We’ll have to wait until late spring to find out.

but he’s only going to be on for 5 epis, so I don’t see him returning as a new character or anything like that. Matt Ashford won’t even appear until probably May sweeps. I’m thinking maybe Abby may have a complete breakdown once her sl is over and that’s where/when Jack might return, but "with a twist," so I can believe he will be the same thing along the lines that we’re seeing Bo Brady right now….the figment of someone’s imagination….perhaps Abby’s or Jennifer’s or even JJ’s….or all three. But, we won’t find out until May sweeps is my thinking.
Having a breakdown. I remember seeing a tease from Jason47 about scenes being done in a mental ward or some such.
Oh I dont know about it getting old. Y&R have Johm Abbott coming back to talk to his so Jack any time there is a crisis and it works really well ever since he died on the show so it can be done and it can work.
