The conversation between Nicole and Daniel on Thursday was painful to watch. It’s obvious she’s not going to come clean. The phone will ring, someone will come to the door, he’ll cut her off and assume she’s talking about something else. In this case, I think it was the trifecta, all three. I know this is the stuff soaps are made of, but it’s like nails on a blackboard. I guess I should have just ff’d.
I don’t know why getting a parenting agreement between Gabi and Will is such a big deal. It seems like a natural thing to do and it protects both of them. Will was doing pretty good controlling himself, but it definitely felt like she had the upper hand. A lot of the conversation seemed to be led by the threat of seeing Nick and holding moving out over his head.
I’m wondering if Eve’s return is going to be to assist Theresa in getting out of the Liam trouble or taking Liam down. I’m wondering if Nicole will talk to Theresa. I wouldn’t mind seeing them work together. Maybe it would make Theresa’s character a little more likeable. It’s a shame, I think I’d love having Anne and Theresa on the show if their characters were tolerable.
for Thursday’s show:
1. Abigail, STHU! You’re in no position to coach JJ, and your constant teasing your 19-year old brother is boring. Can’t wait to hear his comments about your secret when it comes out — which undoubtedly is on it’s way.
2. JJ, you make a date to meet a girl you supposedly have the hots for, then stand her up with no call, no text, to offer Daniel your help with ‘operation Theresa takedown.’ Quit while you’re ahead, young man.
3. Marlena and Eric scenes were nice, but really Mar, why don’t you tell your son what you really think of him and Nicole, or are you just waiting to say “I told you so.”
4. Liam, I sooooo want you to die!!!
5. Nicole, you’ll go through fire to Save Daniel, but not yourself. That grave you’re digging keeps getting deeper and deeper. See ya!
6. Why does everyone get interrupted on this show when they’re trying to tell someone something for their own good? It’s exasperating!
7. Brady, how you keep track of your women’s names is amazing to me; however, you get a +1 from me for dumping Theresa, since she DID give Liam the key to Dan’s apartment, so it’s not like she’s telling the whole truth.
8. Speaking of Theresa, is this the beginning of her redemption s/l? I hope so because so far she’s been nothing but a one trick pony. Oh, wait! Big sister Eve is on her way to lend a hand (gulp)!
9. Eric, the more you insist you’re marrying Nicole, the more I’m convinced you’re not!!
10. Why does everyone insist they know what you’re talking about before they have the chance to tell you what they’re talking about? I’m talking to you, Daniel.
11. How did Liam manage to pull that one page out of that burning trashcan full of shredded documents and manage to assemble it with not even a smoke/soot smudge on it? Quite a trick, writers.
12. Jennifer, for God’s sake, love him or leave him. You’re skin is starting to grow waffle grooves.
13. Mary Beth (Paige’s friend), please take a seat! When are you going to fess up and admit you have the hots for JJ yourself?
14. Aiden, hope they don’t spoil you for me or for Hope. I really like you so far and I want to keep liking you, so don’t blow it, writers!
15. Daniel, stop blowing off people who are really trying to help you. Let somebody else be the hero for a change.
16. Finally, I’m convinced Ariana Grace is absolutely the smartest one in her family. Now, kiss mommy goodbye!!!!
Loved reading all your comments, Patti. Another thing I can’t understand is why Liam would even bother to retrieve that document from the trash can in the first place. What motivation would he have for doing that? Come on! Would he really think that it may be information that could possibly be useful to him down the road? How would he even know at that time that he would end up blackmailing Nicole when this all happened before he drugged Daniel and before she got suspicious of him! Makes absolutely ZERO sense.
not to mention that out of all the shredded pieces, he managed to find all the pieces to put together a whole page !
