is being driven by real life. Eric (Brady) and Galen (Rafe) are both in the same age bracket (40s) in real life while Sami is in her 30s and Melanie is in her 20s in real life. There is a point where the age factor isn’t a big deal but on this show where Melanie was just a teen not that long ago, it makes it more ‘awkward.’ That being said, there’s the problem on a soap of SORAS which also goes backwards at a certain point. Brady should be quite a bit younger than Sami and yet the show has an actor that is clearly older than Sami playing the role. EJ should be younger than Will but they have him old enough to be Will’s father now since they aged him. Philip by the end of his run (when he was with Melanie), seemed to have been ‘de-aged’ to around her age but with the same actor it wasn’t seeming that way, but he should have been Will’s age as they were born in the same year on screen. Creative license is wonderful but can certainly be confusing!
dare I say the Salem PD??? She should have reported an "unwanted guest" that refuses to leave who is also harassing her!
I would much rather have Carrie and Mike. Austin played by Patrick Muldoon wasn’t bad but I don’t want the other one back!
though you had me going, "Huh?" When I saw "SOD" all I thought of was "Soap Opera Digest" and I started going how do you surgically remove a magazine?! lol Hope that took your mind off the upcoming surgery for a few minutes. I guess that’s where my mind goes when I’m on a soap site!
why they dumped her? I had heard that Diane was out too but she never really clicked with the audience. Wonder if they are going back to Victor/Ashley now that Tucker is in the coma? Nicky’s affair with Deacon was a huge bust so maybe they are getting rid of her instead of him?
had more ‘animation’ than the older child(ren) they substituted the first ones with. I guess it doesn’t matter too much to those behind the scenes since kids are only dragged out for a few minutes at a time. Just wait a little longer and the next time you see Johnny and Sydney, they’ll be 16 year olds. Luckily for Sami, she won’t age at the same rate! lol
that can’t stand the way Chloe is being manipulated. The thing that probably bugs me the most is that this woman is the child of two of Days’ best manipulators who wouldn’t put up with any type of blackmail unless they were the ones doing it!
Chloe being weak and written as a "ho" that goes from one man to the next, just never made sense! ::::crawling back into my cave::::was "available" and they thought, "hmm, maybe she’ll bring some GH fans over." And, when she didn’t get received very well, "Oh, TB is available, let’s bring her back as a different character, her fans will come too, right, and our fans will just forget she was Ava V." Wrong! Y&R tried this same thing with Maura West being brought on to play Diane and I see where they are dropping her too. Diane would have been much older than Maura but they ignore that if they think they will get more people to watch. TB looks much older than Nicole when she should have been a lot younger. I know logic/time/ages don’t work on Days but you mess around too much and the fans do revolt! I’m still surprised KC hasn’t dropped the gay storyline as I see a lot of people who are not interested in it and are saying they won’t watch.

old when she stole the fertilized egg of Kate/Vic. She was old when she raised Nicky Alamain! Well, rethinking this one… maybe he will really be Carly/Lawrence’s son Nicky that Viv raised for many years as her "son". Nicky could be about the age of this guy by now. I don’t think Carly has seen him yet so he could be Nicky. I can’t believe that Vivian could have given birth to this guy! Sorry writers, I don’t buy what you’re going to try to sell!
