Rafe- was FBI maybe he’s still working for them ‘undercover’? But, he should not have been involved given that John is Rafe’s step-father-in-law.
Roman- as head of the police department probably should have been involved too but this is a good friend of his.
Bo and Hope- same issues as Roman.
Abe- as the mayor, he has no reason to know and he’s a long time friend of the suspect.
The other guy that was with Rafe has to be the one in charge of the arrest as he seems to have no connection to John and could be objective in following the arrest proticols.
I believe John would have to have been indicted on a federal issue for him to be arrested that way which would be out of the hands of the local cops. If you noticed EJ, he looked totally surprised at the arrest along with the others. I suspect that this will be a totally new story unrelated to the Dimeras but maybe something to do with the Alice money in and money out. That’s just my guess. John and Marlena knew something was going to happen but didn’t think it would be that fast.
Also, Austin being the one to do the forensic accounting on this case had me curious. Last I knew A/C were living in Switzerland so why would the US government being employing him over there to do their work? hmmm
I’m ready to sit back and enjoy the show to see where all these things go!
but I guess having Jack back would not be my first choice as I am enjoying the Daniel/Jenn romance right now. I realize that there are many Jack and Jenn fans and if it helps the show’s ratings, go for it. I think we all have our favorite couples and I am just glad to see some of my faves back with good stories that don’t involve triangles or silliness! I am loving this new Alice mystery, the John mystery, the Maggie/Victor romance, and even the mayor’s race has some potential with the Dimeras going against each other! Count me a happy camper for now. Yes, I do love to pick things apart and throw in realism but that doesn’t mean I’m criticizing the show’s writers, just analyzing it! lol

which would mean he’ll be gone really soon unless they agreed to just extend while the negotiations continued. I hate most of what EJ has done but I’m not sure I would get rid of the character. I wonder if JS isn’t continuing, they’ll hire a new EJ? Send EJ to jail for a short time and then hire someone new or wait and see if JS wants to return? EJ was always a strange return for me as he should never have beent that old since the character was born after Will. There wasn’t even a good explaination of how he ended up being raised by Stefano unless Dr. Rolf returned and put baby Elvis in a growing chamber and out popped EJ college grad!
EJ leaving would ruin the EJ for mayor!

involve all the generations versus the teens having their own, the older characters their own story, etc. The females hopefully will become more independent as we are in real life. I like Nicole and EJ seeming to be on friendlier terms. Love the new sets too!
Looking forward to the new story with John and what’s up with Brady (something seems to be going on there).
My one suggestion: have some of the male characters shave! Sorry but I’m not into the scruff.
Peck’s Austin. Patrick should have aged a little as he’s in his 40s and I believe Christie is later 30s. He still looks good to me!
I’ve enjoyed all the shows so far. Maybe Kate’s new asst. could be involved with Sonny?
I’m looking forward to seeing how Sami/Carrie/Austin/Rafe get along. I liked Sami allowing the kids to have contact with EJ (even though he doesn’t deserve them) as he is their father. I hope she can continue to grow up!
and I’m pretty sure born before Susan took him to live in England but that storyline would seem totally bizarre now that they’ve aged him so much! lol
Sheridan (my favorite) and Fancy (hated when JERk paired them). I think it was just a point to show that things aren’t always perfect in a marriage. GG also indicated that she’s an actress and has had love scenes too but maybe it’s one of those things where you’re stuck in hthe house with 2 kids versus being out having fun? Fara and her boyfriend: I predict they won’t last long. He was indicating that he’s not the type for LA and she was choosing to ignore what he said. Fara and Kirstin’s feud: both strong personalities? Kelly: not very nice to her fans and I’m sure if the fan that made that book for her, saw that show, they were very hurt! Nadia and Brandon: sweet couple.
That is when I check it out to see what shows they have available and watch the ones that aren’t "On Demand".
