isn’t Gabby’s screen time only temporary right now.  I didn’t think she was due to be on that long.  Although it’s good to have her back…I look for her to disappear with Ari when Will gets killed and Sonny’s gone.  Maybe they’ll take off together.

I’ve just always thought he was "oily" from the start.  Not good enough for hope.  I was hoping for a Rafe/Hope (ROPE?) entanglement!

The SOD interview w/ Corday was very enlightening!  I must’ve missed the part about Eileen leaving, but I’ll shed no tears…I’ve always hated her characters (not the actress)…she’s too over the top no matter who she’s playing.  I was please to read the "kids" (Chandler & Camila) would be on into the new year, but distressed to hear Drake is OFF contract and there are no plans to bring John back – he’s not taping, he’s not part of the cast – zip, nada, nothing.  Looks like they finally have some plans for Hope, which is a good sign.

he’s the cockroach of characters – can’t kill him – don’t really want to – he’s funny, resilient, menacing, handsome, charming, etc.  He has interacted w/every character on the show in one way or another since he came on board.

I have never like the character of Kim nor the actress that portrays her.  Never – even when she was first on.  She chews up the dialog and ruins the scenes.  But, it’s not "kosher" to bash the individual actors – so on to the character:  Kim was a prostitute, then she was a mental health counselor, then who knows what. How does that happen?  She did have an affair with Victor, but I believe that was to "save" Shane or some such nonsense.  I thought she’d left town with the ex-porn-guy-turned-legitimate-director, Phil (I believe), with her two kids.  She supposedly is getting over leukemia?  Perfect makeup, not a hair out of place?  Didn’t look frail or tired?  Alright, I know – one reason we love DOOL is the suspension of any reality or truth in storytelling.  But c’mon – what an insult to those who’ve had leukemia who are watching – or have had loved ones with the disease…Kim could go away and never, ever be mentioned again and I’d be grateful – but if they’d bring Shane back and Kim would have to tag along, I could fast-forward thru any of her scenes, just to get Shane back on the show.  I think he’d be great matched with Kate!!!

They do use twins to play Sydney – one is said to be better at being fussy and unhappy; the other is more cuddly and playful.  Those kids must’ve gotten a workout that day!!!

…those tots that play Sydney.  Even with their little onion heads (what our family calls "hairless babies") and her little sticky-out ears – whichever one they use to grin is just too too adorable.  And she seems to do it, like, on-cue!!!  She’s got those 2 little bottom bunny teeth and squints her nose/eyes and just grins a big one.  Totally cutie-patooties!!!
