must be a glitch in the board itself.  I have to keep clicking on "new topic" until it underlines the words (can’t go too fast or it will disappear again) like every second or so; then the box will come up to let you write in new topic.  Also, when you do manage to put in a new topic, make sure it’s what you want to say, because sometimes it won’t let you edit it once it’s saved.  Then, again, sometimes it does.  LOL!  It’s been like that for quite a while now.

back in August that he "signed a new contract," and said he was "happy about it," when in fact all he did was "extend" his contract a few months to complete his departure from the show, which had already been decided by TPTB by then.  It doesn’t surprise me that he’s leaving….his storyline was boring at best.  He should have remained a priest; that’s was when he was at his best for me. Most posters on message boards and social media I’ve seen were so sure they were going to put Eric back with Nicole after Daniel leaves.  I don’t know how he exits…if he will die, go to jail for killing Daniel as most people suspect, or just decide to leave Salem; but whatever the exit sl will be, it’s time for Eric to go. Personally, I don’t think he’s the only current cast member who will be written out.  It does surprise me that a lot of actors, vets included, who are leaving are very popular characters that fans are really going to miss.  Wonder why that is???  Whether the show will be renewed or not should be announced sometime prior to February sweeps…probably in January.  Hope this isn’t some sort of mad cryptic exodus taking place here.

but he’s only going to be on for 5 epis, so I don’t see him returning as a new character or anything like that.  Matt Ashford won’t even appear until probably May sweeps.  I’m thinking maybe Abby may have a complete breakdown once her sl is over and that’s where/when Jack might return, but "with a twist," so I can believe he will be the same thing along the lines that we’re seeing Bo Brady right now….the figment of someone’s imagination….perhaps Abby’s or Jennifer’s or even JJ’s….or all three.  But, we won’t find out until May sweeps is my thinking.

it’s NOT Bo Brady telling her to do this.  Bo would never, ever lead Hope into danger.  He’s always been her salvation, her white knight.  What it is is Hope’s manifestation of what she wants for Bo.  The guilt probably has a lot to do with it, I’m sure, but everything she is seeing and hearing from Bo is what Hope wants, even to the point today of having her subconscious use Bo’s words suggesting that she have Claudia come to her.  This is all her thought process, not Bo’s.  Yes, it will turn her into vigilante Hope, and more than likely endanger her.  I was happy that she conceded to stay for Bo’s funeral.  That would have disappointed me greatly; and with Shawn D. deciding to leave, it will definitely affect Ciara to have them all leave her at this time.  But I do like Detective Brady seeking revenge for Bo’s death.  I just wish she could see that it’s her own desire to seek and find the people responsible, not Bo’s.  I think once Rafe gets wind of this, he will be the one to talk her down since obviously neither Steve nor Kayla can do it.

so I expect lots of mourning and eulogies, but I really don’t want to see it go on forever.  I think the flashbacks we did see were fine, and enough for me.  First of all, Peter gave them a certain amount of time to work with, and flashbacks to these times can be very costly (yes, I believe the show has to pay the actors who appear in them), plus there would be fans who are NOT particularly Bope fans who would find this unfair.  I’m not saying I would, just saying there are many who still resent Peter’s return, Aiden’s firing, and the obvious distance between Peter and Kristian as evidenced by their social media, as well as their absence of pictures together throughout his return.  I think there is definitely some resentment that has spoiled their relationship.

I’m all for this week dedicating a day, or even two, to Bo and Hope, but that’s as far as I would go with it.  I’m ready for some kick-butt and ask questions later Hope.  I just don’t want to see them move too fast with her and Rafe, which is pretty much a given at some point….just take it slow and easy and I’ll be fine with it.

I just remember seeing him rubbing it and the announcer saying "seems to be something wrong with Aaron’s arm."

and bad calls, the entire NFL seems to be disjointed this season; well, all except for the Pats and the Panthers …. and what’s with all the quarterbacks getting injured this season, too.  Romo’s down and out with that collarbone injury again, I think Big Ben is still recovering though still playing, Joe Flacco, Andrew Luck, Peyton Manning, and last night Aaron Rogers looked like he hurt his arm., and these are just the ones I’ve been paying attention to.  I’m not too worried with Staub replacing Flacco the rest of the year, since he is a seasoned quarterback himself.  Just hope he can keep from throwing too many interceptions, which has pretty much been his downfall.  Hoping we can pull out a win against Cleveland Monday night.

It’s what she is projecting what he is telling her to do.  Bo Brady would never, ever tell Hope to seek out his captors knowing how dangerous they are.  This is all on Hope.  At least that’s the way I see it.

Speaking of Hope, I can’t recall Kristian shedding so many what appear to be "real" tears since Zach died.

and probably for Daniel’s death, but since Philip Kiriakis is returning, it might be fun if Nadia signed on longer.  I would really like to see some action with Shelle and Phloe, especially with Belle and Shawn now separating.

and may you, and all of our Salem family/friends, have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day as well.  I am once again looking forward to not cooking this year, and for that I am always thankful.

I too love this board and all of our posters.  I look at other boards and read them mostly for spoilers, because a lot of the posters are just downright mean and hateful and very disrespectful with their comments.  Thank goodness we have one another here at Salem Place.

I am thankful for my children and grandchildren, and feel so lucky that we are such a close-knit family who love being together.  Sitting here now watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.  Are you out there TFlo1018?  If so, hold up a sign!  LOL!

Bless you all and eat to your heart’s content today!

and I wish it wasn’t, but it is.  I see no similarities between the two, especially since I read all over social media and in her own interview that Ali Sweeney was the one who pushed for that sl for Sami, even though she knew darn well that James had no intention of returning now, or anytime soon.

he couldn’t afford not to and expect her to keep silent.  Wonder where/when they’ll find her body.  Agree, I can’t remember seeing these killings so up close and personal the way they’ve been written for Ben, and Rob Wilson is playing this role to perfection.  And I thought Clyde was a scary villain!
