making those promises to Ciara was a smdh moment for me, too. I mean, whoever was holding Ciara could have easily killed her right then and there, in front of Hope’s eyes, on closed circuit TV. She sure as hell looked scared out of her wits today, and then to come back with her rough-tough creampuff routine in front of Ciara, Victor, and even Rafe was the worst dialogue they could have given her for today’s show. It really made her look not only bad, but downright laughable. I’m actually starting to hate this sl. This is not what I meant when I said I like seeing Hope in detective mode.
I like JPL. Admittedly, he does look entirely different than he did on One Life to Live, but I think it’s an improvement for him. There he sort of looked like a "dweeb" (is that a word?), but now I think he looks sort of ‘rugged-sexy’, much more matured since his OLTL days. I’m partial to a little longer hair on men, so his hair length is fine for me, just a little too much gel, which is what I did not like about Greg Vaughan’s and James Scott’s hair as well. I like a longer but loose, natural look to a man’s hair. And I love his smile. Guess it’s all in the eyes of the beholder!
but this is the last season for American Idol. Looks like The Voice just pushed this show right out the door. No wonder, though, the talent on that show is incredible. Hard to pick a winner. I like them all! I do think Jordan will winn it as well.

and you wonder why we get along so well???? I would think it’s because I agree with you 99 44/100% of the time. I love me some kick-ass Hope; however, I don’t like to see any character for 35 out of 37 days in any given month. That’s what we’ve seen with Hope. Talk about repetitive dialogue….let’s take a break, shall we?
Personally, I liked the name Colin for the baby, but Thomas suits the 50th anniversary theme, since Tom Horton is the true patriarc and deserves the recognition. But "Jack" is a nickname, not a proper middle name, and is usually short for "John." So, I guess I can forgive Abigail because I’m surprised they don’t have a room reseved in some Salem rest and rehabilitation center with her name on it. I mean, I was thinking of ways to blow that damn secluded cabin up myself. Again, talk about repetition. Good riddance!
Eduardo and Kate? Seriously??? First it was Stefano and son, E.J., now she hops from Rafe to his daddy, Eduardo….who’s next….Philip???? Oh, wait!!!!
I agree with you 100% on Tamara Braun, but Ava Vitali I can do without. Oh, well, at least we know she’s going to be full of pi$$ and vinigar going after Steve and Kayla and that might be entertaining …. for a while anyway. But this new chick, whose name is Meredith, I believe, is just one huge gaping nobody bad girl who popped in with no backstory, but obviously connected to the John Black saga about to unfold. Yeah, I’ll hold my breath waiting for this sl to excite me. Keep Kate in the corporate world, where those fabulous nails of many colors can do some real damage. So, Lucas lives in the Salem Inn now, too? Well, at least we got a hint he was still alive and well.
And as far as Steve (Patch) Johnson is concerned, my dear, 50? You are too kind. The dude turned 61 in February, and as much as I love him, he and Kayla do not exude a sexy, passionate couple for me. Get this P.I. sl with John going and do what you do best, but I’m sure Ava has other plans for both of them soon. Oh, and the sooner you let you son, Joe, in on who his partner is, the better, because Cupid she definitely ain’t! But, I’m sure he’ll soon learn that those arrows she’s aiming at his parents won’t be love darts! LOL!
Finally, I believe this 50th arc will see the end of Stefano DiMera, and I think it may have already happened behind the scenes.
for not believing in Bo in the first place. I’m not saying that she had no right to move on. I mean, how long are you supposed to wait for someone to come back? But this entire vigilante sl is based solely on Hope’s guilt, and nothing more. Bo Brady would never have wanted her to take on this role of the avenger. I need this sl to move at lightening speed. I don’t want to watch 3 months of this.

I think what Ben has now is schizoprania, where one minute he’s that little boy, Ollie, reliving his life at the hands of the abuse he suffered from Clyde, plus Jordan leaving him and not telling him where she was until he found her; and the next minute he’s Ben Weston, who knows (or believes) he’s the baby’s father and is trying to tell Abigail that he would never hurt his son. His mind is so far gone that he will now pop in and out of his personality disorder between Ben and Ollie.
now that JJ has undoubtedly called her and the baby has been found. I do think JJ said he called his mom and brought her up to speed when they were still at the cabin, and this is, after all, still the same darn day!
mainly due more to Rafe than to Chase. He was so kind and compassionate with Chase, trying to convince him that he’s not his father and that what his father did didn’t define who he was now or he was going to be. I do think the character will leave at some point, well before the other teens though. He is not on contract, so I suspect that once he realizes that Ciara looks at him exactly as what he is…. her step-brother, and has absolutely no intention of being anything more, he will decide to leave Salem. I just hope he doesn’t take his disappointment out on Theo. If he does, and if Ciara becomes aware of it, that might/will change her opinion of him.
I’m happy for you casey, as for you powerpaws2…hope one of you go all the way. Screwy season, but the NFL better shake up, or wake up, whichever, when it comes to these refs. They are ruining the game. Taking that touchdown away from us cost us the game, and it was blatantly unwarranted. Our season is over, so good luck to both of you and your teams.
and right after that was when Theo got the "Freak" text! Chase is going to be extremely jealous of Ciara’s relationship with Theo. They both have a crush on her. Hope better wake up and pay some attention to her daughter’s needs before something happens that will put Ciara in some kind of danger zone that Hope won’t even see coming because she’s riding the crazy train right now.
