Also, I found it hilarious how Hope has been bragging about the house being guarded for their protection, and here comes Andre right up to the front window watching her. That was definitely MY laugh for the day!

Josh hasn’t missed the mark, Higley has!!!!! She writes for Ava Vitali, because she introduced the character in the first place. Her leave starts next week, I think, so we’ll see if there’s any improvement. I don’t know who’s writing specifically for Belle Black, Nicole or Theresa, but it would not surprise me if it was Dena, so yes, I will by happy eat my words if that’s what you want.
No wonder boards make so much venomous snark about poor Daniel Jonas; these writers just won’t let up. I mean, I loved Daniel, but the guy is gone so can we please have a little break from the canonization of Dr. Jonas? And Nicole, really???? DJ Wear….are you planning to making and selling a clothing line for DeeJays? LOL!
I never particularly cared for Eve, but the actress was very very good. They ruined her, however, with the Eve/J.J. sl. Shawn D. made some ridiculous statement yesterday to Roman that he doubted the community center program would last anyway, so I guess that’s how they intend to explain why she left Salem. In any case, good luck Kassie DePaiva in your next venture. Hope to see you again some day.
with Eduardo, I think I am really going to enjoy it, because it will take me back to the older sls involving John and Steve and the criminals involved back when story telling for DOOL was 100 times better than it is now. It will further add to my suspicion that Dena Higley will soon be gone, by whatever means, and Josh Griffith and Beth Milstein might be taking over the head-writing, which I hope is the case. Higley is horrible. I absolutely hate the stories she writes. She should stick to writing for Theo and leave everything else alone. Better yet, she should be gone for good.
with the upcoming umbrella storyline that I’m pretty sure we are going to see with the insertion of the character, Deimos. I think somehow the sl between Steve/Ava will be connected with John’s search for his parentage, also linking the Deimos backstory. I think that’s why I believe we will soon be seeing the old Russian spy, Petrov. I read there will be more character returns from the past, and Petrov was involved in both John’s and Steve’s lives. I don’t know if I’m giong to like it, but I do think this is where Steve and John may come together in their searches for the truth. Just hope it’s not as boring as the DiMeras have become.
had the same picture of the snake on the wall as the one tattooed on Ava’s back, so I’m sure that room would never be found be Steve or Joey in time to save Kayla if he doesn’t go along with Ava. I do give him credit for telling her he wasn’t letting her out of his sight, because snakes can slither away without ever being detected that they were there in the first place.
who was created by Dena Higley. She was fired before, and talk is she may have been again. Although I like Tamara Braun, her DOOL character was only brought back to destroy Steve and Kayla and try to break them apart once and for all. This baby story, however, just doesn’t make sense to me. How long ago was this child conceived? Seems to me he would have to be in his late teens, early 20’s, when Steve was either with Ava by choice, or when she drugged and kidnapped him on her last go-round. Personally, I think there will be a child; otherwise, why the continued showing of his picture, and now Steve has some clue from someone in the ISA involving Ava’s father’s compound and something about someone selling children on the black market in Indonesia??? Again….ugh; Can’t help thinking, who is this new teen, Henry, and where did he come from??? Please, can’t we have someone in Salem who is NOT connected to someone else, if in fact that’s the case? Or is their child long dead and they are both chasing a child who no longer exists? Higley really likes to create disasters with happy couples. Maybe that’s why she went (or was sent) on a leave of absence, which should be starting in real time about now, and from February sweeps on until whenever she returns (if ever), we will begin to see the newer stories created by Josh Griffith and Beth Millstein. If ratings improve after sweeps, that may be what has happened. Anyway, that’s my wish, because Dena Higley was never one of my favorite writers, I’m hoping she will soon be gone again if she continues with Ava Vitali and her machinations. I swear, if Dena Higley breaks Steve and Kayla apart again, I may have to join and follow her Twitter page just to give her a good piece of my mind over stories like this one (not that it would do any good). LOL and JMO!!
for Olivia Rose Keegan (Claire). She wasn’t completely horrible, in that she was slightly better than the Toytown performance she gave in HTS, but no way is she Julliard material, and shame on Eve for making her think that she is. As for Eve’s exit, I think it will be very underwhelming and she will simply leave Salem when Belle makes her feel like whatever tomorrow. Belle will probably also accuse Eve of trying to use Claire as her substitute daughter for Paige….just the same way Justin did….and that may be exactly how she will see it and simply decide to give up the program altogether. Of course, it will probably cause Claire to distance herself even further from Belle, but that will be Belle’s fault to begin with. Yes, tomorrow is still showing as Eve’s last day….at least according to Kassie DePaiva’s twitter account.
I thought you were saying that the cabin Rafe and Hope and the kids went to was not the Horton cabin. Call me confused!
although how soon Hope has gotten over her fears and regrets was a little too quick for me. I did enjoy the family oriented fun banter for a change, but wish they would hold off on Ciara’s pushy attitude in trying to make Hope realize she is happy with Rafe and interested in him romantically. Still soo soon for me, but I’m prepared for it t happen at some point. Right now it just worked for me to get a little away from the dark side the show has been taking us down for a while now. I don’t see either Rafe or Hope making anything more out of it right now, even though I’m sure it’s the start of their eventual love story.
however, the cabin used where Ben was holding Abigail was not. That one was described as a "secluded cabin," and never was meant to be the Horton one on Smith Island. Hope even said aloud that they were going to the Horton cabin, and commented how good it felt to be back there. If it wasn’t the Horton cabin, why would it have had the picture of Tom and Alice there? Of course, it’s probably all the same set with simple adjustments to moveable walls and furniture, and now a reference to an "upstairs."

Then there’s that time when he screwed Lucas over big-time by cheating with Chloe, knowing she was going to marry Lucas? Maybe even his almost tryst with Kristen when he knew how much Brady was in love with her….to name a few???? I actually liked Daniel, but it’s funny how some people just remember what they want to remember.
he is now purported to be, but I didn’t hate him like a lot of people on the boards did. However, your opinion is exactly that, yours, and you are entitled to it. As far as Daniel’s death, I completely agree that it was overdone. Eric’s memorial to Daniel in the HTS was OTT, but I can understand that he is remorseful and blames himself, but Daniel died almost a month ago, and they are just now putting him to rest. We didn’t see the actual funeral, only the reception; but, I will admit, the good Dr. Jonas has been sanctified, idolized, and memorialized to death (pun intended). I mean this kind of attention wasn’t even given to Bo or to Will or to anyone else who died during the 50th anniversary sls that I can think of, and the iconic Stefano DiMera seems to have been blown to bits. So, I agree, it’s defenitely time to let Daniel go, but I doubt we will see that happen so long as Brady has Dan’s heart in his body.
