ParticipantI thought she was wonderful; very elegant and a good dancer.

Participantand although I do like Marie Wilson, the Summer character is a huge fail for me, too, and since she is short-term and should be gone in the very near future, perhaps during May sweeps (although I’m not sure about that and I don’t know her exit sl), why even bother with the character in the first place? Just lazy writing is what it is to me. Since we know that Dena Higley went on her leave of absence back in August, and the show is still 5-6 months ahead, the all of the stories we are seeing now are Griffith’s/Milstein’s, with perhaps some outside interjection by Higley, although I can’t be sure about Higley’s, but she is still listed in credits, I am somewhat disappointed that Griffith would be the one behind all the darkness that’s being presented by so many characters at once. Now, Griffith is gone and Higley came back in February, but hers and Quan’s stories won’t really be on screen until late summer. Just boggles my mind because Griffith claimed he knew DOOL so well, loved it’s characters, and always wanted to write for them, but it seems the entire show has been turned into doom and gloom, and it appears there’s even more coming, and personally I’m sort of fed up with the overkill. I need some love and romance at times to escape the darkness we seem to be seeing on a daily basis.
Good catch about the Apple watch!

Participantand when I say Maggie Horton is being destroyed, I certainly did not mean it to be because of her decision to give her baby up for adoption; I think my post clearly said that I see that as no sin for her circumstance at the time. What I meant by Maggie Horton being destroyed was the history of the character in that writers simply decide to do a 180 on a character’s history without even a nod to it. Perhaps I’m not explaining myself properly. It’s the history of the character that I feel was being destroyed, not the decision she made as a young pregnant teenager, although it would have been better if she had revealed this to someone over the years, like Mickey, Julie, or anyone close to Maggie, who has always been perceived to be the family matriarch who holds a family together after Alice Horton died. So, IMO, changing her storyline at this late date, even with saying Victor Kiriakis is the true "love of her life" just makes me smdh with the writers of soaps. By the way, I hope I have not offended you with my feelings on adoption, because that was not the intention of the post. I concur with your decision to adopt and congratulate you.

Participantbecause they both were sort of boring before they began the serial killer sl; since then, however, these two actors have been stellar and grown tremendously in their chosen field of acting. Kate, especially, is going to be extremely hard to replace. It’s hard enough to accept a recast role in the first place, but when it is someone with the talent and the obvious popularity of the actress and her character, coupled with two amazing male counter-parts in Robert Scott Wilson and Billy Flynn, all I can assume is that they better fine a really strong, preferably experienced, actress to take on this highly popular role.

Participantwith a chance to see this marvelous actress get some spunk back and finally put Daniel to rest, in her mind as well as in mine. I’m looking forward to it. Both Vincent Irizarry and Arienne Zucker are terrific, so I can’t wait to see how they handle this sl. And, by the way, she is not a doppleganger (someone made to look like someone else, like Rafe-2); that picture Deimos was looking at really was Helena. Victor told Nicole to be careful, because he knew Deimos would be coming after her now that he’s seen her. My question is why didn’t Victor say something to Nicole long before this, unless he knew he would have to reveal the truth about Helena’s murder. But the real question is why does she look exactly like Nicole Walker? So, I say bring this one on. It’s about time both actors got a sl in which they could shine.

Participantand it’s my guess she’s going to be big trouble for the Johnson family down the road. Can’t believe Joe was so stupid to reveal this whole mess to a girl he just met; and a weirdo as well who thinks Joe murdering Ava was exciting, and only sorry she missed the murder trial. Yeah, she would be the first to meet my foot on her way out the door.
Patti
ParticipantPretty sure guess it’s a medical trauma due to Ava’s blow to her head.

Participantsimply by convincing herself he wasn’t real, that was her imagination; but yesterday he was really there, at least according to spoilers I’ve read, so I guess my opinion is yesterday was the first time we were seeing the "real" Ben. I must say, Robert Scott Wilson does a magnificant job of being the psychopathic homicidal maniac. I just love the actor. I don’t know how long Ben will be around, but RSW has certainly brought this sl to life again. Today should be more of the same excitement, for part of the show anyway. For me, I would prefer that they stay with it for the entire show today, but I’m pretty sure they won’t.

Participantthere will be more cuts, as well as more returns, over the next several months, so I’m sure it will balance out in one way or the other. I know who I’d like to see go; doesn’t mean it will happen though.
Patti
Participantas the "former Mrs. Donald Trump" if he wasn’t running for the office of President of the United States and leading the GOP candidates, or what’s left of them. Either way, she seems to still have a certain respect for The Donald (or maybe she just can’t reveal what she really thinks of him on live TV.) LOL!

Participantshe was so bad it made me feel sorry for her partner, Sasha, who tried his best to make anyone even want to watch her.
Doug Flutie is anotehr one who seems to be a little too full of himself for my liking. He’s not bad, but he comes across as having a way too high opinion of himself. I mean, he’s okay, but I had to laugh when he looked like he couldn’t believe that he was in the bottom three. I don’t expect him to last too much longer.
I’m still loving Marla and Tony this season.
Patti
Participantshe emits so much emotion in her acting, whether the scene calls for being happy or sad, and I love when she brings Maggie’s spunkiness into her scenes. She may overlook the faults of those she truly loves, but she can’t be fooled by them. That’s why I’m hoping my suspicions that this Summer chick is not her daughter, but a fraud who is simply after the Kiriakis money. Even Victor, who is perfect for Maggie IMO, can only fool her for so long. Together they are "class" and "crass", but she can calm him when no one else can.
Patti
Participantright from her entrance on the show. The first item she stole was Brady’s sobriety coin, and she hasn’t stopped since.
Patti
Participantand truthfully, I stole it from the character of Brooke on B&B, who was/is literally the town’s "walking mattress." Her and Kate could walk in each other’s footprints and no one would be able to distinguish whose they were.
Patti
Participantit’s defenitely fading, but I do see it. I don’t see how others can’t.
