but on the days that he and Melanie are getting along, I can’t help but like him a lot more. He looks so much better when he smiles. I am happy to see them finally put Molly in with this age crowd. Now, if Brady would climb out of her butt, maybe it would give him more time to focus on mending fences with Nicole, and leave the kiddies alone.

Jennifer and Daniel are just too, how should I say it, high-school-like for me. I’m looking at two forty-somethings acting like two teenagers. I like them more as friends than as lovers.

As for Louise, I think she is one of the most intelligent speakers I can think of, on and off the show, but I have to agree with her — the role was becoming cartoonish rather than villainous and she’s just too good for that.
but if all he claims is true, then I’m excited for the cast, the show, and most of all, us, the fans. Maybe it’s not too far-fetched now to think we could still see a J&M return.
her parents were both doctors, so she should realize the inconveniences that come with the job. It’s life interrupted at any given moment.
and she wasn’t coming to see Rafe; she thought Rafe left town, remember? So, since she was so down and out, finding Rafe there and remembering that he put the moves on her before (R-2 did, that is), and believing that his and Sami’s marriage is over anyway, she figured ‘what the hell’ and decided to get her some easy lovin’. I was so hoping Sami would have walked in when she threw herself on Rafe.
but I do think it would be a huge mistake. So many stories to tell, but I read that CC has so many irons in the fire right now, I can understand it. She’s creating a new on-line soap called "The Grove", which starts shooting sometime in August, I believe is what I read, ready to preview toward the end of the year, plus "Venice," which she is up for another Emmy award. Days has sort of written Carly into a corner which, unfortunately she will be unable to climb out of, but I would have to believe that this talented actress left on her own terms. Something that, due to her vigorously challenging schedule, I’m surprised Ali Sweeney hasn’t done by now.
and as for Daniel, he told Victor today that he was going to "slow things down" with him and Jen, that she was very fragile right now ….. SINCE WHEN???? Jennifer is about as fragile as Jack, that’s what was so convincing about them as a one-time super-couple. They could go from goofy to madly in love at the drop of a hat, and now, suddenly she’s more insecure than Chloe when it comes to her looks????? Please, I’m just not buying it, not at all. Give me back Jennifer Horton Devereaux, if you please.
which is twice the insult of what they’re trying to make her into because suddenly she’s so insecure about her looks compared to Chloe and Rebecca. Jennifer is convinced that she’s doesn’t meet up to Daniel’s standards in a woman. She’s trying to convince herself to be something or someone totally opposite of who she really is, and all I can see from this ridiculous plot is that when Jack returns, that will be the end of Daniel and Jennifer.
poor regard for women on this show. There’s not a strong, capable woman on Days right now that I can think of who doesn’t appear weak and dependent on a man. I hope these new writers see what a mess she has made of the females and that it becomes a major "fix" when the new writers’ work appears in the fall. Take Nicole, for example. Have you ever seen Nicole Walker this pathetic? And what about Jennifer? She’s suddenly so disillusioned with her looks and feels she can’t compete with Daniel’s deceased, Rebecca, or with Chloe? I mean, think about it. Name one competent, resilient take charge woman on this show who doesn’t have to use blackmail or jealousy or insecurity as a defense for their actions. Even Maggie is putting on a good act, but she was practically defenseless with Vivian yesterday. There was a time when she would have turned her around and booted her out the door. I am so glad this woman has been fired. I can’t believe what DH has done to the women of Salem.
that was not beneficial to her. She wanted Brady so badly that she was willing to give it all up just to be with E.J. and his kids, and how did he prove he trusted her …. by insisting she wear a diamond tracking bracelet, because he knew first chance she got she would be right back in Brady’s bed (or have him served up to her on the DiMera sofa). I will never be able to see how so many can overlook the history of Nicole just to be able to accept her as a suitable mate for E.J. E.J. deserves NO ONE….NO ONE…. but if he could be cast with the perfect mate, then it should be Nicole, yes, I’ll agree to that; but that would serve no purpose for me except to make two villains even more disgusting together than they are apart. Nicole is fantasizing what she wants to believe E.J. saw in her. He used her to his advantage as much as she used him, and now they both want nothing more than to see the other destroyed. Taylor is an easy out for overlooking ALL of Nicole Walker’s way of getting what she wants. Personally, I don’t care what E.J. does to her, or she to him. My perfect fantasy is that they are both doomed by this outrageous scheme of a marriage, and both suffer the consequences permanently. Like Brady told her today …. she made her bed, now she has to lay in it. If E.J. really cared for Nicole, Taylor never would have affected him like she did. They’re both (Taylor and Nicole) dancing with the devil, and I’m sure both will soon pay for it dearly if and when they find out how Faye died, who was responsible for it, and who was responsible for Rafe-2. I just never will understand how people can side with Nicole here. Taylor is probably doing her a favor, and she’s too stupid to realize it.
however, I think at this point it’s more "wishful thinking" than anything else. She is supposed to turn to the dark side, and I don’t see them getting rid of her anytime soon. Although, who knows, if 17 episodes have already been rewritten by the new writers, and I did read rewritten, not "tweaked", then I just don’t know. I guess if Corday is truly listening to the fans as he always claims he is, she should be on the next bus out of Salem. Twitter is going wild with the cast’s comments lately as to how much they are enjoying new scripts, lots of work, etc., and Kristian Alphonso tweeted that they are now taping AUGUST. So, they’re really more than two months ahead already.
to rewrite history. Vivian has always been infertile; thus causing her to steal Kate’s eggs to begin with. I think the writers would have a really hard time pulling this one off without looking absolutely ridiculous in every way. It’s one think to write incredulous story lines; it’s another to rewrite history; but, hey, it’s not like it’s never been done before.
