She has threatened to leave so many times I just don’t believe her anymore. But, maybe TPTB have read how the fans really feel about her and since they’ve canned DH, maybe they’re going to get rid of her. Oh, I only hope so.
however, I think at this point it’s more "wishful thinking" than anything else. She is supposed to turn to the dark side, and I don’t see them getting rid of her anytime soon. Although, who knows, if 17 episodes have already been rewritten by the new writers, and I did read rewritten, not "tweaked", then I just don’t know. I guess if Corday is truly listening to the fans as he always claims he is, she should be on the next bus out of Salem. Twitter is going wild with the cast’s comments lately as to how much they are enjoying new scripts, lots of work, etc., and Kristian Alphonso tweeted that they are now taping AUGUST. So, they’re really more than two months ahead already.
She might be a little redeemable if she turns against EJ and joins forces with Nicole to take him down. Maybe after they realize that he created FrankenRafe, and caused their mother’s death, they will focus their energies on destroying the Dimeras. Maybe Sami will grant her some access to the kids so that she can provide evidence they held Rafe in the basement, and she won’t have to protect EJ to be with the kids. It would be nice to see an army of Salem’s "high-spirited" women go after the snake!
