it was more like the timing of Gus jumping out yelling "STAY BACK" when there wasn’t anyone really near him.  He might have seen them looking at him and in a split second realized his game was up, but after it got rolling it got much better.

He just is so humble and so funny and so happy to even be alive, that it all comes out in his personality (… "that’s why I’m so cute").  Plus, he did very well with his dance.  His horrific scars and facial disfigurement are in no way detrimental to him, and he has talent besides that.  I just think he’ll go a long way in the competition, and I’ll be in his corner all the way.

I think the basketball player should be first to go; he was terrible, and so was (can’t remember her name, but) George Clooney’s x-girlfriend.  She looked so off-balance and totally had no ryhythm whatsoever.

And Bonbon, you are so right about Maks’ brother.  They are definitely going to be fun to watch this season.  I’m so glad Maks drew Hope Solo.  She’s not only a beautiful girl, but she is as graceful on the dancefloor as she is diving for the soccar ball to stop a goal.  I really loved watching her on the USA Women’s Team when they were playing for the 2011 FIFA Gold Cup in Germany.  We came in second in the finals, but she definitely had a lot to do with us getting her there.  Yeahhhh, maybe Maksim has a chance this year with her as his partner.

she actually looked like she was going on an interview; the color of the second outfit, the pants suit, definitely didn’t work on Sami, and the last outfit looked way too casual for a job interview that she knew absolutely nothing about the company or the job.  Also, the ponytail was too casual also, IMO.  Her hair should have been down and curled around her face, or even straight like she wears it sometimes, but the ponytail would not have been my choice for something as important as her first job interview in umpteen years.

I thoroughly enjoyed the fashion show, the music behind it, and the actions of the kids themselves.  I can’t remember liking the ‘younger’ set this much.

I just wish her wardrobe was as nice on DOOL as it is on other shows and in publicity photos.

her back was to the camera, and you could not help but notice the tail-scarf, for lack of a better word, and I couldn’t help myself — I burst out laughing.

especially when they finally paired him up with Melanie.  Even moreso, I loved that they finally put Melanie in with her own age group, and would have really enjoyed watching their love grow.  They were perfect together, IMO, and I wish the actor the best of luck.  I also like that they are not killing anyone off who IS leaving, which allows the door to remain open for any or all of them at some point in time.  Sadly, just when they give Melanie someone who improves her acting and her likeability, they take him away.  Too bad.  I, too, would rather he stayed and let the Quinn character go off with Taylor.  But, I’m willing to give these writers the benefit of giving me just enough light at the end of the tunnel to see their way out of the previous writers’ disasters.  Good for all of TPTB so far.  Loving the show right now.

The SPD was not coming at him; sure they were circling the room and trying to avoid approaching him, but he jumped out of nowhere.  I thought it was the poorest direction of a scene I’ve seen in this story line so far.  It wasn’t convincing to me at all.

when you work alongside Chef Gordon Ramsay day in-day out, you pretty much can’t help but turn into a character very much like him.  He did appear to be much calmer on "Master Chef," but he can be one critical SOB to some of his students, and I have to wonder if it’s faked for the cameras.  I think it’s just an angle for his shows.  I saw him and his family on a talk show once and he appeared very nice.  He has young kids, so I can’t imagine him talking that way around the house.

that stars one of the Kunitz twins (Johnny DiMera).  Boy, you can really see how much they’ve grown.  They have quite a few commercials under their belts now.  Hope they stick around on DOOL for the new story lines for a least a while longer before they SORAS them.

and I’ll tell you what …. bet it would have more viewers than the soaps themselves, or any other dance show for that matter.  Wake up networks… we’re giving you a great idea here.

the original Higley writing was never meant to have Gus as the attacker.  Here’s what happened:

Days of Our Lives’ Gus the Real Victim in the Stalker Story

By Janet Di Lauro, About.com Guide September 14, 2011

Days of Our Lives fans couldn’t have seen it coming: the reveal that Vivian’s devoted manservant, Gus, is the stalker who’s been attacking the prostitutes of Salem. It’s a stunning turn, considering Gus’s benign nature. So how did such a sweet guy end up saddled with such a dastardly crime?

    See:

Then scroll down to the Gus storyline.

well, that takes the cake.  I think she’s finally lost it, because from what I’ve read she chooses her own outfits.  Someone also needs to clue her in that I don’t care how skinny you are, pleated pants pulge you out in that area, plus it doesn’t help if your suit doesn’t fit.  The jacket could barely be buttoned.  All this, along with the blue nails, hair, and excessive jewelry and other accessories, makes me think she got locked inside a mall, specifically the "Claire’s" keyosk, and refused to come out.

Last night I watched the premier of The Secret Circle.  Shelly Henning looks terrific, and she is the head witch.  It’s an inherited society of young men and women who inherited the powers of the some good, some evil parents, and needed one final girl to complete their coven of power.  Last night was her story and how she came to live with her grandmother in the same town where they all live, after her mother was killed.  Enough said, but I really liked it.  Of course, I’m partial to these kind of shows, like Supernatural, so I knew I would like this one, since it got very good reviews.  Shelly Henning (Stephanie Johnson) looked beautiful, as expected, and very much as she did on DOOL, down to the length and style of her hair.  She is a terrific actress and I think this show, like Supernatural, will be successful … at least I hope it will.

There are many others that look interesting to me and I plan to either watch them, record them, or put them on the Xfinity Watchlist, where you can tag the show’s date and time and then watch at your leisure.  Right now I’ve tagged Dirty Soaps and Boardwalk Empire, and Comcast will remind me when the show comes up on my watchlist.  It’s a really good feature offered by Comcast’s Xfinity.
