Participantand hundreds of members of DOOL boards who have asked the same question. It’s spread like wildfire on some boards. Just another boo-boo on the part of an executive producer who doesn’t bother to check whether or not his NEW writers are at least making an attempt to follow the history of his parents’ creation.

Participant"….the rantings and ravings of a lunatic mind" …. that is the only way to describe E.J. trying to blame all of this on Sami, or the Salem P.D., or the Mayor’s office, or anyone else for that matter. Pure lunacy is the only way to describe E.J., whether he is hysterically spouting off accusations to Sami or to anyone else in Salem simply to justify what he knows in his heart to be true ….. THIS WAS ALL YOUR OWN DOING, YOU SIMPLE S.O.B.

ParticipantI have always believed that Sami is E.J.’s one and only love, and it’s his desire to ‘possess’ her the way Stefano wanted to possess Marlena. I suppose in this instance, though, believing that their child was dead, it could be clarified as "hysterical sex." I did read that E.J. stops and pulls himself away, so I’m not even looking at the possibility of a pregnancy, but if watching the guilt unfold is as dramatic as the building up to the act itself, we should be in for some riveting scenes (I hope). Wonder how long it will take for it to actually come out, and what will Rafe and Nicole do once it does?

Participantand I think today’s show was superb. I was shocked at some of the scenes between E.J. and Sami, and can’t even fathom watching them next week, but AS’ and JS’ performances today were not only well done, but they were completely believable to me. I could not take my eyes off of them today, and although I don’t like how it’s going to turn out next week, they were heartfelt for me today. All of the scenes with John before the judge were done well, and I was affected by that outcome as well. Maybe now Austin will find the proof needed to clear John. Will’s scenes when talking to Rafe both before and after realizing that Johnny was alive were another example of fine acting on their parts, especially Will’s. The only disappointment I had with today’s show was having Johnny simply crawl out from under that table with a smile on his face, as if he was actually playing a game of hide and seek. In a way, I suppose that would be any normal 6-yr. old’s reaction, but after the build-up to finding him, I thought he would have at least been crying or showing some fear. Now for the fall-out! (shudder)

Participantmaking their selections. Too often we see the most popular pros paired with stars who have the ability to quickly get in step with the dance, or have some background or training in dance, and it quickly becomes a foreseeable as to who will be saved and who will be eliminated. They also have to stop selecting (and I hate saying this, because I am one, myself) ‘seniors’ who are in no way, shape or form able to keep up with the rigor of these dances. I do not enjoy watching them at all, even though they were once very popular. Sorry, but their inability to perform the moves, or even to keep up makes them hard to enjoy for me.

Participantyou’ve said it all, casey!

ParticipantI’m with you on that one, SW! Rafe =

ParticipantI don’t think he tells anyone, and Sami and E.J. certainly aren’t going to broadcast it. I think Will will completely turn on Sami, but not expose her. I think I read somewhere that Rafe does leave Sami, but not because he knows she had sex with E.J. Will is going to hate what Sami did, but I don’t think he is going to tell anyone about it, at least not right away. Maybe if he gets into therapy with Marlena, things might be different, though.

Participantwent missing. They mentioned several times how Johnny hates loud noises and when he’s scared he runs and hides. Shouldn’t someone perhaps have thought….. gosh, he was here a second ago, let’s look upstairs or in the kitchen, or search the rooms upstairs? But, no, they lead everyone on a wild goose chase and insinuate that the child has met with foul play, and now possibly he is dead. If Bo really did call animal search and rescue, shouldn’t they have had the dogs sniff out the pub first thing??? Of course, that would have been too logical and would have meant we would not have been able to watch Sami and E.J. decide …. our child is dead, so let’s have sex. What a horrible way to write a plot-driven story …. using Johnny, who has been through more at six years old than any little child deserves to have been put through. And, by the way, I would have to ask these writers what 6-year old they know of who would remain in his hiding place for over 24 hours. I just hope that E.J. suffers the most for this, since it is all his fault to begin with. I am so sick of this SOB and need a break from the DiMeras and their rrrrrrrrrvenge tactics.

Participantuntil it happens to you, none of us know how we would react. We are, as I see it, reacting to the character’s history and not to her situation. I am so very protective of my kids and especially my grandkids, I honestly don’t know what I would do if anything this should ever happen to any one of them, including my grown children. I don’t think anyone can predict what they would or would not do, say or feel until something like this hits home.

Participantwhen her and Rafe were alone, after Bo and Hope left and Will and Gabbi left, and everything began to sink in, all I could see was a mother in horrific pain thinking the worst possible scenario for her missing child, and I thought she was finally convincing in her portrayal. I’m sure I’ll quickly change my mind once she goes on her next rampage.

Participantwasn’t Kayla in Africa, too? I know she’s coming back in December. All I know is I wish they would hurry this along, or make more sense of it before I start to not care about it.

Participantherself in the aftermath, when the truth all comes out, and I do mean ALL. I don’t know, sometimes I get the impression that AS could care less whether she remains on DOOL or not. It seems to be the one job of hers that she is the least interested in how she is displayed in the audience’s eye. She should be worried, especially about the fans she does have, and should return to reading the boards, which was always one of her priorities. I can understand if an actor takes this kind of role in a movie or a television show, but these people are in our lives day after day after day for years and years now. At some point they must care about how they are portrayed. It’s not all about a paycheck for someone like AS, who has been with this show for the past 18 years or more. And it’s going to get worse …. a lot worse. I can’t say much more than that, because this is not a spoiler board, but you simply will not believe some of the atrocious behavior coming from Samantha Gene, and all because she jumped the gun, putting the horse before the cart, as usual. I just hope for my own satisfaction that it all works out, because I do think Sami is an integral part of this show, but she is losing ground practically overnight with this story line and with her OTT acting as well.

Participantshe said she did NOT like the storyline, and it was NOT how she would have written it; but, hey, there’s only so much a cast member can do …. even if she is the EP’s pet. She said she was going to see what the fans thought before she made any further comments. Well, she’s got to have gotten an earful about now, so we’ll see if she has any pull, as some believe she does. Same with J.S. in my humble opinion, he’s not much better than AS the way he’s being written for this storyline. He’s just on the other side of the foot-stomping, finger-pointing, owl screeching than A.S. is with his performance. The difference is, if he didn’t succeed in framing John in the first place, none of this would have happened, but it’s just another plot so they could see the reaction to the sex between E.J. and Sami that some misguided, no-talent writer(s) decided would be a good for the show. Well, whoever came up with this brainstorm should go to soap hell, go directly to soap hell, do not pass Horton Town Square, do not collect a paycheck, and pick up their pink slip on the way out.
Patti
Participantshe was going to make the two of them wish that she (Sami) was never born ……… uhhhh, I think they probably already do ….. I know I do, and I have always defended Sami, but she has become unwatchable, even for me.
