Checked in to see who went home tonight and I was appalled at the judges’ decision. Between the over 40 Stacy and 13 yr old rapper Astro, the judges chose to keep the kid. Now he may be quite the precocious talent, I’ll give him that, but this punk needs a super dose of humility. Learning he was in the bottom two this brat had the nerve to question whether he should even sing in the final showdown round. When asked about it he said he didn’t feel he should sing if the voters didn’t want him there. And then when he did perform, it was half-hearted spoiled sport attempt at best.
Instead of tossing his sorry butt to the curb, the judges reprimanded him, but decided he had a better chance to win and sell records than Stacy, so put him through.
The almighty dollar once again rules! Shame on you judges!

    Well said.

I knew Simon would give him what for because he can’t stand disrespect and attitude, he’s said that enough on AI.  I was hoping someone would jump in and say "with that attitude there is no vote, you’re outta here".  Of course, as you said, it’s all about the money and the controversy brings in more viewers to see how he acts next week.

many many people are appauled at the fact that they kept him on the show! I would expect that if this kid isn’t gone next week there will be a HUGE backlash against the show. He showed absolute and total disrespect and acted as if America owed him something. And he wants to go into an industry that is going to rip him to shreds on a daily basis. Nah I think he cooked his goose! And the judges well, many people are upset with them by keeping him on. Especially Simon since he was the last to vote after this kid had diarrhea of the mouth! Think it’s gonna harm them!

The sad thing is, the voters really don’t decide on who goes home, they just decide on who MIGHT go home.  The final call is the judges and they’ve all got $$ signs, especially Simon who owns X Factor.

I’d love if next week they came on and said, due to his disrespect for the viewers, voters and judges Astro will no longer be with the show.  After all, he’s L A’s pet and he’s got a record deal whether he wins or not.

show) now that explains it all, this kid is a "rapper".  A wanna-be with the irreverent, soooooo bad "gangster" boy attitude and personalty- he thinks this image will make a bigger record contract, more money, (and he probably will for three years of his record deal), but who’s really going to remember this thuggy kid in 20 years?  He won’t go down in the annals of musical history as a great singer.  Nothing new to see here at all.

Leroy Bell should have left before that Marcus guy. I think if Leroy had chosen his fight for your life song “Don’t Let Me Down” as his competition song Tuesday night it might have been different. I thought that was his best perfomance.
