the concept of the story is there, especially now that Stefano has arrived, but it’s running waaaayyy too slow, and that makes me lose interest.
She did tell Lucas that the kids would be so happy to see Lucas when they got home from school. I realize it’s all the same day in Salem, but it’s been the same day for several days now. It just looks weird to see an actor in the same clothes for 3 days straight.

I mean what police commissioner doesn’t have a means of communication on him that would immediately summon help? I also thought JT’s acting was a bit OTT. Yelling and screaming one minute, and then him and Sami reciting the Lord’s Prayer the next, then back to yelling at Kayla, who was yelling at Bo — just very bad writing as well as acting. I did enjoy seeing Roman in a scene with Bo, but the acting by everyone in that scene was horrific, except for Bo who was unconscious one minute, coughing the next, then back to unconscious, then Kayla finds a normal pulse, then finally seizing out of control. Just way too much of bad acting jobs for my taste. Who on earth directed that scene yesterday?
and having Roman in that scene with Bo was nice to see for a change as well. Great make-up job on the wounds, too. When you think about it, though, Hope was lucky because that surely would have been her and Bo going rogue together, so when she does find out about it she will probably feel double the guilt.
but certainly not until she drives Carrie straight into Rafe’s open arms, and that’s going to make me sick. It seems to me like once that happens, Austin will finally make her see the light and force her to realize that this has now given him reason to despise everything about her that he once admired. Once he can forcefully do that and she finally realizes what she has done, and that most of all she is not going to become Mrs. Austin Reed, she could possibly suffer a complete meltdown, perhaps even attempt suicide. That’s the route I’d go with it, anyway. Surely Austin won’t allow himself to go near her ever again once she drives Carrie away (if he does, then he deserves the name "Ausdumb"), but it’s hard to say with these writers. They don’t know when they are staring at a gift horse with a storyline in its mouth, and there could certainly be a lot more to it if they would just pull their dull thoughts out of their heads and take this opportunity to be what they are being paid to be — namely, good and juicy soap writers — but I’m not holding onto any high hopes. It will probably simply be swept into a corner and buried along with Mrs. H’s secret envelope for Stefano. Abbey will cry one week and meet someone new the next, realizing she never truly loved Austin after-all, and, of course, that it’s all Jack’s fault for abandoning her (ugh!).
throwing the "old Sami" in her face. She reminded him of it, so no, I haven’t forgotten, but they are still wonderful together. Of course you don’t agree because you are not a Lucas fan. I have always loved Rafe, but Lucas and Sami have too much history, chemistry, and just look so cute together that I must say, if Rafe and Carrie can’t get over this sudden realization that they are "in love with other" (OMG, what’s it been, 6 weeks now?), then I would love to see Sami back with Lucas. I have always been a LUMI fan at heart, from day one. That’s not to say I don’t still love Rafe and Sami, because I do, and hope that Sami and Lucas will simply be BFF’s throughout this mess. Of course, torturing Kate would be an added bonus for me, because Lucas surely will NOT let anything Kate says or does dissuade him from helping Sami, and that would just kill her, so I’m all for them driving Kate bat-shit crazy, if that’s what’s coming. If her children are the only ones who can do it, then go Lucas, go!
she’s turned into a stalker, which these writers don’t know how to write a good story around, I’m certain of that. She’s become the male version of Nick Fallon, and sadly no one can prove her wrong, because Ausdumb believes he slept with her. Personally, I wanted to show him what to do with her skis, but it probably wouldn’t sit well with the viewing audience.
for Super Tuesday elections (like I care), followed by Obama’s speech (which I did watch, but same ole’ same ole’), and even Brian Williams said at the end of the telecast that Days of Our Lives was pre-empted, but that today’s show (which was Tuesday, the 6th) would be shown in its entirety tomorrow (which is today, 3/7). Unfortunately, that throws everying off for a full day, so now the entire show, as well as spoilers, will be running a day behind schedule. Oh, well, at least Brian Williams acknowledged the show, which was a surprise. Don’t think I’ve ever seen that.
talking about this new show, and some of it was shown. She looks absolutely gorgeous compared to her look on DOOL. Don’t understand that at all. The hair, the make-up, the clothes …. everything absolutely beautiful. I did not see the actual show, but it does look like she was having a great time. She certainly is a busy little bee, that’s for sure.
because it proved once again that Lucas is not only the father of two of her children, but he has always, always been the one one to make her see things a bit more clearly than anyone else. I loved their scene yesterday and hope he can turn her around, if for no other reason but to see the misery she has created for herself and for her family, and to stop criticizing this wonderful guy who is telling you the truth. That’s always been Sami’s problem …. she doesn’t listen, she just spouts off, but Lucas has always been able to see right through her, like she’s made of cellophane. I love the way he looks, and his great new attitude, and mostly the fact that he is there for her because she is the mother of his kids, her best and perhaps only friend, and, in his own words, "God help me, for some reason I still love you." I’m sure that was a play on words, and nothing more at this point. He really does want to help her regain the love and respect of her family, including Rafe. And, after all, he is supposed to be engaged, so we’ll see how this all turns out, but if Rafe and Sami do not reconcile, it wouldn’t hurt my feelings to see her and Lucas wind up back together.
I remember thinking everyday, "oh, if only I could be there in Buffalo Bob’s Peanut Gallery and hearing him say…’Hey kids — what time is it?’ and every kid in the peanut gallery yelling out ‘IT’S HOWDY DOODY TIME’." Gosh, I just got up and screamed my head off in my living room. Then, I’d wait for Paul’s Puppets to come on afterward, sort of a daytime soap done with puppets. LOL!
