and finally this week Thorsten Kaye (Zach Slater from All My Children) appeared.  He was the bartender who made the drinks for Eileen just before the end of the show, and there will definitely be some connection with these two.  I love Angelica Houston’s acting, but cannot see her as a love interest for TK’s character, whose name we don’t know yet.  Anyway, glad to see him finally join the show, since I adored him on AMC and still do.  And he has the sexiest voice I’ve ever heard.  This show just gets more exciting for me from week to week, and things are really starting to heat up now.  There’s not one character on this show that I can say I can’t stand.  Everyone is doing a superb job.

for wearing "flats".  She’s taller than everyone on the show, maybe except for Jermain, who was kicked off.  Her father was a major league baseball player.

I mean what’s with her …. if you can’t be with the one you love, you love your sister’s husband?????  She is making me sick.  Carrie has always been perceived as the "good girl" or the "sensible one" yet here she is on vacation with her husband, determined to get their marriage back on track, and next she believes Abbey’s lie and runs back to Salem, only to be practically throwing herself at Rafe, professing her "love" for him, inching herself closer and closer to him, and practically tearing his clothes off with her putrid looks of love.  I am disgusted with this character and the way she is being written as well.  I was cheering for Billie the other day when she reminded Austin that HE was not the serial cheater, although I knew exactly what she meant but was nice enough not to remind her brother that it was his wife who was that.  They need to revamp Carrie from head to toe if I am ever going to be a fan of this character.  By the way, I couldn’t have been more proud of Rafe for the way he turned her down flat and walked out on her.  So, what now, she runs back to Austin to have that talk????  Boo on whoever is writing for Carrie.

that he has not aged as well as some others who have returned to the show after several years away.  I mean I think Drake and Dee, Doug, Julie, Matt, Melissa, for example, all look fabulous.  Patrick, to me, has not ….. but, it has to be that alone for me, other than the way he is being written.  As for Austin Peck, his role on One Life to Live before it tanked showed him to still be a good-looking guy, but still a horrible actor, IMO.  Both as Austin on DOOL, and the crazy porn pimp on OLTL, Peck’s acting will always sound like he’s reading right from a script to me, whereas Patrick, although shakey at first, seems to be doing much better.  His scenes yesterday with Rafe and Carrie, and the other day with Billie, have been much, much better.  Seems the only one he sucks with is Kate Mansi.  It looks incestuous from top to bottom to me, especially when they kissed.  Ugh!

no surprise there, mainly because when she sang for a one-time-only save, she sang the song exactly like she did the first time, even though the judges thought she over-sang the song.  I guess she was nervous, but I would have thought she would have toned it down a bit in her save round.  Well, she is only 16, so she repeated the same mistakes for which she was criticized.  Poor baby, the harder she tried to hit some of those notes tonight, the worse she sounded, so I can only guess that the judges felt they were right.  She just wasn’t ready.  Still, I liked her better they Hee June (SP?).

and plants one of her earrings in his bed.  Really????  Isn’t he still at the Mansion or does he live somewhere else now?  I find it hard to follow where these people live most of the time.

I like his voice, but that hair ruins him for me.  Actually, no one was hitting it out of the park last night, and the votes are surely going in the "my favorite" direction tonight.  Again, I think the Asian kid will be in the bottom this week.  I really like Erica Van Pelt, but she didn’t hit that song like Jimmy thought she would.  On the other hand, everyone had some sort of problem last night.  Not a good night for me.  I don’t like Elise that much either, but she did a better job for me last night than anything else she’s tried to do so far.  And I really like Holly….a lot.  She has one of those "Disney" voices to me, and I think Jessica did a good job with Turn The Beat Around, which is a very hard song to sing, but agree it was not her best.  Joshua was the only one who truly rocked the house last night for me.  Loved the song, loved the arrangement, and his voice and on-stage presence were all perfect for me last night.

the entire time he is in a coma, which is sort of sad.  The other day when Victor was talking to Bo, it was nice to hear some of the things he said to Bo about how he wished he had raised him and how much he truly loved him.  Sure, he could have said all these things to Bo before his coma, but Bo rejected Victor for a lot of years, too, so hearing him speak to Bo from his heart was endearing to me.  Even Billie, when she was speaking to Bo directly, telling him how much people loved him, and specifically mentioned his children and how much Hope loved him, I thought was well done.  It seems like it’s the only chance anyone has of truly opening their hearts to one they love is when their in a coma and can’t hear or rebut their feelings, but I happen to like listening to them.  I don’t think Peter is doing anything special while he will be off-screen; at least I haven’t read that he is.

if Stefano’s plan has anything to do with Alice’s secret about him, which would, if my hunch is right, involve E.J.’s true parentage.  Why else would Steffie be doing this?  Don’t get it……don’t care about it.

are being written horribly, for my taste.  Gabbi’s throwing of the vase of flowers to the floor the other day was so ridiculous…. I actually laughed out loud.  What a mess these writers are.  I hope when these stories end and the new ones begin for May sweeps, that they will have found some imagination and stop this nonsense.  With the exception of Will’s story, I find the new writers to be absolutely horrible.  Of course, as always, this is just my opinion.

just like ABC’s The Chew and The Revolution…. Both of those shows are in the tank now, and fans of OLTL and AMC are ecstatic about that …. present company included.  I read where The Revolution is actually paying people ($30.00 per show) just to sit in the audience.  LOL!

and realizes that her acting has taken a complete nose-dive.  She really was horrible yesterday.  And why did she look so "puffy"?  As for her character, Billie, she admitted that she she still loved Bo, and it only twook her two days to reveal it to mommy dearest.  Geez, who’da thought it???  Guess we all know what that means …. sooner or later Kate will convince her that she should be with Bo instead of concentrating on Countess W., which is what she claims she came back for anyway.  I’m really hoping now that Ian and Madison are going to win this battle of the beauty industry once that storyline gets going.  Kate really needs the wind knocked out of her sail.  I am so sick of her constant interference in her children’s lives.  She must be in seventh heaven about now, having Austin’s marriage crumbling, Billie’s admitting that she still loves Bo, and Lucas’ determination to help Sami get her life back, that her mind must be in over-drive plotting, planning and deciding her next interloper scheme.  About the only thing that would be acceptable to me regarding Kate right now is for Stefano to return to Salem and catch her in Ian’s arms ….. now that would deserve a big WHOOP WHOOP!

especially since the daytime broadcasts of the Summer Olympics won’t be watched by the majority of people who work during the day.  That’s fine for people who are sports finatics and want to follow every event the Olympics have to offer; but, honestly, the daytime events are usually the boring ones that most people don’t give a damn about anyway, because they save the popular ones for prime time.  Good time to go on vacation.
