Wow, I know we have been pretty hard on Austin, or I should say patrick, but I thought he did a fabulous job today when he walked in and heard carrie say she loved rafe. I felt the poor guys pain. Which I don’t feel a tad sorry for carrie, even if she doesn’t really know the truth that Austin didn’t even sleep with Abby. I can’t wait til she learns that and see the look on her face. I actually hope Austin doesn’t take her back after the truth comes out. She’s the cerial cheater in this relationship. I’m so glad rafe turns her down!
Man I wish that they wouldn’t Have gabby go insane too. Bad enough we have one wacko in “love” girl, now we have to deal with 2. Is Chad going to get drunk because Melanie wasn’t at the grand opening and that’s how gabby is going to convince everyone they slept together? Come on writers!! we have people on this board who can write WAY better stories than what we have now! Maybe Melanie should take some psychological classes and become a shrink. I think she’s doing a pretty good job, or trying her hardest to make Abby do the right thing.
There’s something about ian’s face that bugs me, it looks like he has no movement above his mouth, like he had too much botox or something.
and plants one of her earrings in his bed. Really???? Isn’t he still at the Mansion or does he live somewhere else now? I find it hard to follow where these people live most of the time.
I have no idea where Chad lives, I doubt he lives at the mansion, I was wondering yeterday how did Billie get into Austin and carries motel room, did she bribe the cleaning crew to let her in?
off camera most of the time! They can’t afford separate bedrooms so they just rarely show them, think EJ and his couch – that must be his bed as that seems to be his choice for where to do the deed, and if they do show a bed it seems to be a generic one that is used as needed.
on what you said about Patrick’s acting ability and about what you said about Carrie and Rafe! Does anyone know what’s in store for these three?
but that scene on Wed. with Carrie and Rafe made me want to hurl! Carrie looked like a stupidly love-struck teen and she played the scene like that. Really? Shouldn’t she have had more emotion and been more upset that she and Austin were having problems. Instead it was a scene of her running straight to Rafe so that she flirt with him and tell him she loves him. Seems to me that Carrie throws the love word around quite easily. Carrie has some real commitment issues. She’s always in love with someone besides her husband. She loved Mike when she was married to Austin the first time. Loved Austin when she was married to Lucas and now loves Rafe while she’s married to Austin again. I think that girl needs to get some counseling soon!
I mean what’s with her …. if you can’t be with the one you love, you love your sister’s husband????? She is making me sick. Carrie has always been perceived as the "good girl" or the "sensible one" yet here she is on vacation with her husband, determined to get their marriage back on track, and next she believes Abbey’s lie and runs back to Salem, only to be practically throwing herself at Rafe, professing her "love" for him, inching herself closer and closer to him, and practically tearing his clothes off with her putrid looks of love. I am disgusted with this character and the way she is being written as well. I was cheering for Billie the other day when she reminded Austin that HE was not the serial cheater, although I knew exactly what she meant but was nice enough not to remind her brother that it was his wife who was that. They need to revamp Carrie from head to toe if I am ever going to be a fan of this character. By the way, I couldn’t have been more proud of Rafe for the way he turned her down flat and walked out on her. So, what now, she runs back to Austin to have that talk???? Boo on whoever is writing for Carrie.
one of my favorite characters. I have to say that I’ve enjoyed her much more this time than in the past. Her character was just kind of "flat" to me and I could take her or leave her.
But, telling Rafe she loves him? GMAB! That’s just out-and-out ridiculous. How can she ever put her marriage back together after saying that in front of her husband. Kinda tough, especially considering her background. I think if I were Austin I’d make haste to the nearest divorce attorney. But, the dumb cluck loves her. What’re you gonna do?

How long has Madison been in that hotel room? I think she came to Salem intending to stay & run her company, so shouldn’t she have some kind of rent by now? Isn’t that what people do before they buy a house?
that The Salem Inn must be some kind of residence inn where you rent rooms by the month. I know they are very popular with business who will keep them available for employees that travel to the area frequently or have to stay a long time. Where I worked before, the company was putting up our new IT director next door at the Marriott for months.
But I can’t imagine, if you are planning on staying in one place for good, that you wouldn’t want something better. Same with Carrie and Austin now that they have decided to stay in Salem. Of course, we know it’s so they don’t have to build another set.
Someone mentioned the other day about where Chad lives. Doesn’t he and Gabby (and Will previously) all live on campus in a dorm?
Last I remember is gabby lived upstairs at the pub. Too bad she didn’t lay down and take a nap and never return again like so many others!! LOL! Who knows were Chad is staying, maybe he got his own apt or living with sunny or in the dorm. I have no clue. For th at matter where does Melanie live? She still living with Daniel? At least carrie and Austin attempted to look at apartments didn’t they? you’d think loving hubby Ian would set Madison up in a nice apt. Which she would probably turn down.
