that guy Will was talking to briefly was who he (Will) was supposed to contact for Nicole, and that he actually stuffed the ballots and not Will.  I don’t know if Will would stoop that low, knowing how it would hurt Abe and Jennifer if the truth came out.

especially the scenes with Billie/Kate/Ian and Madison.  I think there’s gonna’ be a big ‘shake-up’ behind these characters by May sweeps, and I’m hoping Billie is not as behind Kate and Countess W. as one might think.  After all, Kate did steal it from Billie to begin with, and I’m hoping that’s how they write this at some point.

Loved Marlena yesterday as the referee/mediator between Sami/Rafe/Carrie/Austin, especially considering Caroline was sitting right there.  I’m glad Marlena shut them all down, especially Sami, when she told her to "back off" and then look at her grandmother, and then looking at each of their faces, told them they should ALL be ashamed of themselves.  Yes, I also thought Peggy McKay looked very slight yesterday.  It seems she aged from her last time on screen.  Does anyone know what really was behind her absence?  I’m not so sure it was just a foot ailment.  She did, indeed, look very frail and appeared to have lost a good amount of weight.

Madison and Ian have me intrigued, especially since I don’t give a flying fig if Madison and Brady ever see one another again.  Why can’t they just let Brady find out about Nicole and go rescue her frm Rafe, leaving Madison in the dust and certainly behind in his life?  That’s what I would want to see for him.  I love EM but seems they’re writing him into a corner, and we all know what comes next when that happens.

I hope they keep Billie this way and don’t turn her into a ‘mini-Kate’.  She is reasonable, seems genuine where her feelings for Bo are concerned, and is not going to allow Kate anywhere her love-life.  I think there is going to be an explosive reasoning behind Billie’s return, and can’t wait to see how they write it before I make any assumptions.

Finally, my all-time character I love to hate …. E.J.  Well, I still hate him …. now, more than ever.  Everything about this character screams " SNARKY TWIT."  The writing for E.J. is horrible, and, since I still do not see these writers pinning anything on E.J. (they’ll send a pregnant Nicole to jail before him, IMO), I’ll just sit back and drool over the misery he will be suffering without Nicole, especially when some realizations smack him upside that ugly haircut, which only makes him look sleazier than normal to me.  Ugh ….. can’t wait to see this S.O.B. floating, face-down, in his own cesspool, which he created for himself.

but I’m not sure he knows exactly what she did.  It tells me that’s why he’s so bonkers over her not being there right now.  She not only ran his campaign, but she was responsible for everything that went on, some of which she never bothered to clue E.J. in on, so now that she’s out of his life, he won’t know what end is up if and when the truth comes out that ‘Team E.J.’ was responsible for ballot stuffing and not Abe and Jenn.  I hope that’s the way it happens, because I really want Lexi to feel like the flip-flopping idiot she has become where Abe and E.J. are concerned.  As for Jen and Jack, that would be a great way to slowly make both of them realize how much they still love one another.  I always liked Jack and Jen working together to solve a mystery, so that would be a great way for it to be written.

believe me, I don’t care for Carrie or Rafe at all right now, but who slung the crapfest in the first place …… Sami did, of course.  She’s good at pointing out everyone else’s wrongdoings, but finds it necessary to show indignance when hers are thrown on the fire.  That’s always been the one thing I hate about Sami, is that she cannot see past those who hurt her and still refuses to recognize the hurt she causes or has caused others.  I still love this character, but wish the writers would stop making her so repulsive.  That’s why I liked her with Rafe, but Lucas could be her last chance left at redemption, whether she gets back with Rafe or not.  Anyway, shocking as it was to hear, it was nice to see and hear that someone on this writing staff did their homework.  It’s always sice to see a little history brought to the forefront in a character, and that drugging and rape of Austin by Sami was a whopper, and one that Sami is still condemned for today when comparing her to other characters.

not crazy about E.J. back in Sami’s orbit, though, but I will give her credit for not being a stickler about E.J. not being in his kids’ lives.  It would be a nice diversion if they could be civil enough to one another for the kids, but not get too close on their own.  Love the idea of Billie still being ISA and working with John to bring down Stefano, if that is, in fact, the way it will go.  Just keep her away from Bo on any level other than that.  I do remember Rafe getting the loft and Sami being totally surprised by it, so it was Rafe’s first.  They actually referred to it as "Rafe’s loft," IIRC.

regardless of the storylines involved.  It’s as if there is a "build-up" period leading into sweeps that they tend to go through.  Why, I could never figure out.  I realize it must be hard to write every single epi as those during sweeps; however, they also should not drag on day after day with the same dialogue, repeated flashbacks, and the same deja’vu feeling like, didn’t we just see that happen???  I know they have to build up stories leading into sweeps, so I’m hoping things move a little faster starting next week.  I’m hoping some of the current stories will wrap up before May sweeps month even gets here, though, which PLEASE, if there is a soap god in Hollywood, let the first one be Alamania, and get John and Hope home.  I do not feel the need to rehash PG and the Pawn, and I’m thinking if they can’t write better stories for Joe Moscolo than rehashing old ones, then maybe it’s time for him to go.

but I think they believed that simply because his name is synonymous with cars, that he was the one who would have impressed the Verona (sp?) people and the audience.  Everything isn’t about comedy, and although Adam was a pretty smart guy, I don’t think this time around even his own team agreed with him, i.e., stars in the audience heckling him, etc.  Andretti may have appeared boring, but he was who the sponsors wanted, not Adam, and they may have won on Michael’s name alone.  He could have let anyone be a speaker.  Did Adam even ask him?  I don’t think so.  Andretti stood there like a lump most of the time.  You have to pick a task-master who fits the task, and Andretti was probably the way to go, with some presentation coaching, of course.

and I sort of feel the same way about Lou Forigno.  What has he done for anyone lately.  You don’t keep complaining about having nothing to do once you get back to the table in front of Trump.  You speak up while you’re preparing for the task.  If you’re not satisfied with what is designated to you, say it at the time you are given that particular task, not under your breath, not when you’re alone sulking in some corner.  Speak up right then and there.  Lou’s a big cry-baby to me who only speaks up when he’s trying save his own a$$.

so I would suspect she feels stuck; but, yes, it is inconceivable to me that she hasn’t caught on yet that Kate has her right where she wants her.  For now, though, Sami doesn’t know how to get out of this fine mess she’s gotten herself into.  As for her NOT caring for her kids, I can’t buy that.  Maybe she doesn’t spend every waking minute of every waking day with them (does any parent on this show), I cannot entertain the tought for a second that she has not always loved her kids.  Take a look around Salem.  Most people leave their kids with sitters, some even are halfway across the world in boarding schools — I don’t find Sami to be any different.  And who is a worse parent than E.J.?  Who is Ciara with; Theo; Jack, Jr.  I mean I realize that Sami takes the lumps for everybody in Salem, but honestly, I can’t see where she’s THAT much different than most of Salem’s parents.

oh, and by the way, did E.J. say something about Will’s "gentlemen callers" today?  What a rotten S.O.B.  Can’t wait for Will to wise up to this arrangement with E.J.  Actually, today is the first day that Will got on my nerves, while Elvis sat there with his usual smug expressions and snarky remarks.  I so wanted Lucs to Smash that cigar into his face.  LOL!  I’m just hoping that once Will comes out to Lucas, that he will find the guts to tell Elvis what he can do with his benefits!!!

he as much told her to get over it; that there never was, nor will there ever be, anything between them, and that enough was enough.  Too bad he didn’t do that sooner.  Yeah, I see Abbey heading for a meltdown now that what she tried to accomplish has failed miserably.

I’ve always felt if they (writers) can’t find a good storyline for a character, then cut em’ loose.  Gabbi is nothing more than a prop at this point.  Maybe she should pay more attention to what’s happening to Abbey because of deception.
