but I don’t know of any mayor who actually arrests people.  They are usually responsible for the comings and goings of the police force, but not actually having someone arrested, so I find this just another example of incompetence on the part of these writers.  I never thought anyone could be as bad as Dena Higley, but these writers are really giving her a run for her money in the head-writer(s) department.  There’s only one decent storyline holding my undivided interest right now, and even that is getting a little old.

there is not too much to like about her right now.  I just wish the writers would wake and realize that although Sami has always had her faults, they have put her in a position now that there’s just no taking up for her.  I’m really pissed at them for that, because she is not only in dire need of an overhaul, but even die-hard fans like me are finding it extremely hard to be sympathetic with her any longer.  I will never understand why they split her and Rafe up.  At least she was tolerable when they were together, and now she is just a hot mess very much comparable to a screeching owl.

it was obvious the judges had it with this kid, as well as America’s voters.  Maybe he should have tried out for "Last Comic Standing."  Even though I thought he did well with that song, I think he made a mistake in repeating it for his chance at being saved.  It was too little too late.  However, I actually thought it would be Hollie going home, even though I hoped it would be Skylar.  That girl just does not impress me at all.  Everything she attempts sounds the same to me, and I think her luck will run out soon.

I’ve always felt the same way about Carrie since she came back.  Austin may be able to put the blinders on where Carrie is concerned, but I certainly cannot.  Same for Rafe, who I’m sorry to say these writers have turned into a complete and total hypocrite as well.  I swear, I truly believe that Carrie is sorry that Austin didn’t have sex with Abbey, because now she has no excuse except to say, well, why didn’t you tell me the truth when you "thought" you did have sex with her????   HELLO, "Hypocrisy", Carrie is thy name —- why didn’t you admit how you were falling for Rafe, and vice-versa way before you realized what Austin supossedly did or did not do, or, for that matter, what Sami did with E.J.?  I’ll never get that picture of Carrie not so subtly p-teasing Rafe with those ice cube boob-rubs, and him watching her ass every time she walked to the file cabinet.  I despise Carrie, and Rafe has definitely fallen off his pedestal as far as I’m concerned as well.  These writers simply do not know how to write for couples "supposedly" in love.  I honestly think Austin is too good for Carrie, and he should take a page out of Daniel’s book, kick her serial cheating butt to the curb and walk out of her life for good.

and has to bring Hope around, but it’s going to happen pretty quick, for which I will be eternally grateful.  I cannot stand watching John and Hope as PG and the pawn.  I’m more interested in seeing what happens to Stefano (and E.J.) once we get them back to Salem.

Enjoyed it immensely and finally I’m not sure who I liked best.  Everyone was great last night.  Powerful song choices, stage presence, voice control, and Phillip is growing on me too.  AND HEEJUN can sing …. WHO KNEW???  It’s about time he took the advice of the judges and saves the comedy for off-stage.  I would not even begin to guess who is going home tonight, but I’m going to take a wild guess and say Hollie (which would make me sad, because I like her, but she seemed to get the most critical remarks from the judges).

the reason E.J. believes that Nicole and Rafe slept together is because he obtained a key to the hotel room from the desk, walked in unannounced, and found Nicole in bed and a shirtless Rafe standing next to the bed (where he was going to sleep on the floor), so it would be a natural assumption for him to believe that they either just had, or were about to have, sex.  The thing that does not make sense is the timeline for Nicole to be pregnant with Rafe’s baby and not E.J.’s, and that will NEVER make sense, so E.J.’s demand for a paternity test doesn’t’ seem that questionable to me.  Of course, we all know how easy it is to alter a paternity test in Salem, so the most important aspect of this for me is it plants doubt in E.J.’s mind, and gives Nicole the chance to figure out how to fix the paternity test if she decides not to come clean with E.J., and at this point, I don’t think she will.  Maybe somewhere down the road, her and E.J. will reunite, but I don’t think it’s going to happen that quickly.

okay, I know she’s hurt, and being pregnant certainly has her hormones out of whack, but this is not Nicole to me.  Nicole would be out to destroy E.J., and she certainly has enough proof of information at her fingertips to know exactly what to do and how to do it.  More importantly, though, she doesn’t want to lose this baby, so I’m convinced that she’s willing to do practically anything to keep that from happening.  I hope she never takes E.J. back, and I hope she and Rafe continue to be friends (only), and that he continues to protect her.  As for E.J., he doesn’t know how to take rejection, so he uses "trash talk" instead.  He knows that regardless of how Nicole feels about his and Sami’s grief sex, she did/does still love him, and he’s right.  That’s why I don’t like this Nicole …. the real Nicole would have castrated him by now.

that he is a homosexual young man, who is not only confused and uncomfortable with his feelings, but is trying to convince himself that he is not gay.  Beautiful portrayal by this young man, and certainly Emmy worthy, which to me is what great acting is all about … believability.  As for Dee Hall, I am enjoying Marlena more now than I think I ever have before.  As a matter of fact, up until her return to DOOL, and even after her and John returned, it was obvious that she loved her grandchildren, but she certainly was NOT ready to take on the "grandmother" role.  She even went so far as to ask to be called "Marlena" and NOT "grandma."   So to see this transition in her now, especially through Will’s story, is wonderful.  Kate will never, ever be able to compete with Marlena, whether it’s as a mother, a wife, a grandmother, or in any other role in her sick life (Kate’s, that is).  Marlena has more class in her pinkie finger than Kate has in her entire body, and then some.  I was extremely happy to watch and hear her stand up to Kate and her sarcastic, snarky self.  Marlena has never been intimidated by Kate, and she never will be.  I just loved their scenes yesterday as well, and look forward to them continuing today.

it would be her climbing into bed with E.J. again.  But, honestly, I don’t think that’s going to happen.  And how stupid is E.J.  He should know any further association with Sami would be the end of any chance he might have with Nicole if/when she finds out about it.  Stupid writers!  I do, however, hope that E.J. loses his position as Mayor.  That is probably the single most ridiculous thing these writers could do to try to make anyone believe that a criminal the likes of E.J. DiMera could be elected Mayor, stuffed ballots or otherwise.  He should never have been allowed to even enter the race.  Back on topic, Sami and E.J. will always be connected because of their kids, that much I do know.  Although I hated their conversation yesterday with a vengeance, I am looking forward to E.J. possibly going after Kate for her threats to Sami.  I can’t stand the fact that Kate thinks she has all this power when she’s nothing more but a glorified call-girl herself, and only because her last name is DiMera.  We’ll see what she does with Sami —- my bet is not a damn thing.  I hope Sami realizes that once she is back in E.J.’s orbit, she can kiss Rafe and Lucas goodbye.  Stupid twit!!!

a while back that showed Marlena, John and Hope in Bo’s hospital room, stating that it would be around the 2nd (maybe the 3rd) week in April when those scenes would air.
