Participanthe is given immunity (by the CIA, I think) from prosecution for all crimes and charges against him, so again we will all be huffing and puffing about him getting off once again through his control over those in authority. It makes me want to kill himyself. Anyway, this is even more reason to believe he will be killed off. So, now, I suppose it’s off to "Italia", as Bo mentioned.

Participantfrom the actual story itself, to the acting, the ridiculous coin, Alamania, etc., etc., etc. The actors look drained, and I have never been more disappointed in a return than I have with Shane Donovan’s. He’s supposed to be the lead ISA man, and everyone from Bo to Hope to Roman to John to Rafe and even Billie is either setting him straight or telling him what the next step should be. It’s laughable. I was really looking forward to Shane’s return, but it has been a huge disappointment for me. Of late I find myself wishing for the break for the summer Olympics, because then we’ll start to see the new writers’ work. Then, if things don’t improve, I don’t think even the soap gods can save this show, because everywhere I look, on every message board, all I read are the same complaints by disheartened fans. So, I’m just keeping my fingers crossed and continuing to chug along until then.

Participantand, yes, probably making it all about her. But, at some point, I think she’ll settle down and realize that Will needs her support now more than ever and, if she’s truly honest with herself, she’ll devote all of her time in proving that she truly loves Will, as she’s been claiming for a long while now, and that if she honestly wants to show him just how much she does love him, she will put her own needs aside and focus on her son’s. I’m not saying this is going to happen overnight, but I would bet that eventually this bull-crap with both of them will end. As for Sami thinking Will saying that he’s gay will somehow be her fault, and that it’s his way of hurting her or something along those lines, would be ridiculous, if that’s the way they choose to go with this, but knowing how these writers work, this is bound to be a disaster for Sami.

ParticipantTomsinson and Whitesell are doing the writin now; however, unfortunately, we won’t see the product of their attempt at recovery until August.

Participantand to me has played the game better than anyone. I sensed a long way back, though, that he seemed to have a temper (but always in his control) when pushed too far. This week’s language may not have been necessary, even though I believe a lot of it is ‘staged,’ but his point is always made. That’s what a project manager is supposed to do … take control and delegate, delegate, delagate, and that’s what he did. I was somewhat surprised that Aubrey was fired, but I can’t shake the feeling that Trump knew he was going to fire her, but waited until the last minute so he could sort of knock her off her high-horse. I think he was tired of her patting herself on the back for everything, including what others did. Yes, I think The Donald always knew who he wanted in the end, and that was Arsenio and Clay. Aubrey was her own worst enemy, IMO, plus I think the Trump children harbored some ill feelings about Aubrey on more than one task and let her know it as well, and if it’s one thing Trump does highly respect, it’s the opinions voiced by his children on each task.
I think Clay’s talent is far superior to Arsenio’s, whose comedy I never did appreciate, so I’m betting Clay will take it all. I hope so, anyway.

Participantby these writers that I honestly don’t know who I’m rooting for any longer, but it certainly isn’t Rafe and Carrie. My finger can’t get to the fast-forward button fast enough when they do.

Participantright before the break for the summer Olympics. Joe M. is in negotiations with the show and the network’s reps right now, so I’m sure, depending upon whether or not JM decides to stay, that will be the next big umbrella storyline because of all the people involved as possible suspects. I read this on soapcentral.com the other day. I know that Joe’s contract is winding down, and so far he’s leaning toward leaving if, in fact, they cannot reach an agreement.
By the way, Kristian Alphonso has re-signed with DOOL, but no word yet on Peter Reckell, who’s contract is up, I believe, in August. That scares me more than Joe M., because I don’t think I could take a recast of Bo Brady.
Anyway, I believe they are preparing for Stefano’s demise, followed by an all-out umbrella "whodunit" storyline.

Participantand gotten herself a second opinion. Why don’t people ever do that instead of taking the first test for granted. Oh, well, guess they all need to be more like Nicole. She just takes you baby as soon as it leaves your womb. Now that’s the way to get what you want, right Nicole???? Geeze.

Participantthe only one that happened to was Sami, because E.J. forced her to have sex with him or he wouldn’t save Lucas. BUT, see how easy it is to change the subject of a thread and make it about Sami. LOL!
Patti
Participantand my best wishes also. Hope all of our moms enjoy their special day.

Participantthere was Madison!

Participanthe was the first one sent back to the sofa. Actually, there was no final two at all. They showed clips of each one’s songs from the night before, and sent them all directly back to the sofa before finally announcing the Joshua and Jessica were finalists. Then it was between Phillip and Hollie who would be eliminated, and then finally revealed that Phillip was safe and it was Hollie who would be leaving. She was a real trooper, though, and sang her farewell song perfectly, hugging each contestant and shaking each of the judges during her performance. I wish her well.

Participantand avoids Sami like the plague. One quick hug and she turns to Will without another look in the direction of her daughter, Sami. No wonder she went off like a rocket. She wanted to very much to have her chance to tell Marlena the things she told Lucas, but for all Marlena cared, Will was the only one in the room. My God, she treated him like her lover instead of her grandson. I’ll admit Sami was obnoxious with Rafe, but he deserves it now thast he and Carrie have decided to be together anyway, Austin or no Austin. I was, at least glad to hear that although Marlena may not judge Carrie for her decision to be with Rafe, at least she certainly didn’t promote to it either. AND, once again Marlena pays more attention to Carrie than to Sami. Shame on you, Marlena. No wonder Sami loves yet hates you at the same time. Honestly, Marlena pi$$ed me off today. The one I felt most sorry for in the room was Nicole. She really was falling for Rafe, and frankly, I would rather see Rafe with Nicole any day than with Carrie. I simply cannot wait until Carrie is off my screen. Wish Austin would stick around, though. He’s been impressive for me this week.

Participantand it saddens me, because I really like her, but last night sealed her fate, IMO. Jimmy, keeps calling her the "dark horse," but I think the dark horse will be Phillip. The young voters are bedazzled by him, so he has a huge fan base. To me he should have gone home long ago. Didn’t like his first song, but loved his rendition of Volcano, although I don’t think it would have sounded as good if he sang it by himself. The girl doing his harmony, coupled with the unique sound of the cellist, really gave the song and him that special effect quality. Totally agree about Joshua. No matter how hard these judges try to push his greatness, he just sounds too much like Fantasia to me, and I truly believe he tries to imitate her in all of his songs. TMZ said he’s referred to as "Mantasia". LMAO! Jessica, on the other hand, is a tried and true star; and, at 16 years of age, this girl is the real deal and already on her way to stardom. She’s the hands-down winner for me.
