I’ve been feeling that her relationship with Will is somewhat OTT at times.  I love how much she has supported Will from the start, and listens to him before giving him any advice, and it’s is obvious she loves him very much; but her giggles and overly bubbly attitude every time she sees him is frustrating at times.  I mean this is a woman who absolutely refused to be called "grandma" not that long ago.  Maybe that’s why she acts like she’s his girlfriend sometimes instead.  (just kidding).  But they do have a wonderful relationship now.

So, anyway, that would still make E.J. the true DiMera if they went with John as his father and Santos as his grandfather.  Either way, it would be a good twist for me.  Besides, it may not be Yvette Von "whateverberg" who they are referring to in this storyline, but it is evidently someone very important; important enough to perhaps be E.J.’s biological mother, then.  Didn’t John have some sort of romantic relationship with Yvette at one time?  Maybe Stefano switched babies when E.J. was born.  Oh, I don’t know; these lineage story lines drive me nuts.  I just want them to get on with it and that means somebody is going to have to go to Italy to find the truth.  Perhaps it should be John, since evidently this coin storyline is not going away, but more of Alice’s secrets from the grave are going to be revealed.

but that’s just me.  Nit-pick away if that’s what you like to do.  I certainly get my share in when I feel it’s obvious, but sometimes I just feel it’s too much of it.  I will say that this board is nowhere near as bad with nit-picking as some others I read.

just an overall opinion I have about nit-picking.  Wasn’t making it about you personally.

they don’t believe in letting the sheets get cold before it’s out with the old, "on" with the new.  LOL!  Admittedly, I do like Nicole and Daniel together, but I liked her with Rafe, too.  I would hate to see Sami take Rafe back too quickly, but it seems they’re heading toward a reconciliation between these two, but probably after Carrie and Austin leave town in August.  I just don’t want to see Bryan Dattilo thrown under the bus again.

because we know Stefano is going to be "shot" —- not stabbed with the knife by Ms. Scarlett in the kitchen; nor will he be hit with a wrench by Colonel Mustard in the solarium, and he certainly won’t be hung with the rope by Mrs. White in the library; but SHOT with the gun, in his living room, by ………. DUN-DA-DUN DUN, so again the effect was there for me for the perfect set up showing everyone revealing that they have a gun.  It gives the viewer a good look at the actual long list of suspects, and if things go as they usually do in these types of ‘whodunits’, probably none of them did.  Anyway, I like the set-up effects so far.  As always, JMHO!

if this show doesn’t go off the air due to bad writing, it will from nit-picking, but we just can’t help ourselves, can we?  I thought the rain was a nice change of effect.  Was it perfect?  Hell, no, but it was fake rain, probably falling from a huge sprinkler system.  I liked the set-up for the dark and stormy night, setting up the ‘whodunit’ mystery we will obviously see today.  The only thing with the rain that was clearly not done well for me was the fact that when Gabi bumped into Will in that alley, Will was drenched, and Gabi, who was not inside the Horton Town Square but supposedly outside meeting her prepaid stalker, did not have a drop of rain on her cute little yellow slicker.  That one was obvious; the rest for me was very effective and very soapy.  Sorry, but sometimes I think we doth protest too much!  LOL!

Roman and Kate shared a scene in the Brady Pub.  Roman got somewhat sentimental and told Kate that no matter what, he still cared for her and if there was anytime she needed him, that (let’s say it together) "he would be there for her."  That was sort of a foreshadowing to me that, since Ian is leaving, and Stefano will no longer be in her orbit, that this is what the writers will have in mind, and yes, Pammy, it’s been way too long since poor Roman had a love interest.

I’m always amazed by that show.  The talent some of those kids have is truly outstanding.  I could do without Mary Murphy’s screaming, though, but she is a good judge, and Nigel is fantastic.  They seem to be sending of lot of them straight to Vegas so far without further auditioning; mostly the contemporary dancers.  Love this show.

after we come back from the Olympics; however, I think they have been ‘tweaking’ things here and there that we may be seeing now.

and that would work here.  Maybe Alice had proof that not only was E.J. John’s child and not Stefano’s, but also that Stefano’s father was not Santos.  I have a feeling this trip to Italy, if they decide to continue with this coin/Yvette/Santos storyline will reveal even more of Alice’s secrets from the grave.  Maybe Yvette is Stefano’s biological mother, and not Colleen Brady.  I would love for that to happen.  But, knowing this show and the fact that the new writers have already taken over for the former writers, it may wind up nothing more than another dropped storyline.  Sure would be a great way to keep James Scott in the role.  I can’t see him wandering around never finding out who his bio-dad is.

but that’s all I’ve heard so far.  I think that happens today, as a matter of fact, when she breaks down after being caught trying to switch the paternity test labels.  They have now managed to ruin one of the best actresses on the show, AZ, whose storyline simply sucks right now.  I know I’m scratching my head every time she is in a scene, wondering to myself: ‘okay, who are you, and what have you done with Nicole?’
