because we all know Kate would never, ever really use it on Carrie …… well, not while she’s pregnant anyway. It was merely meant to send a message and I think Carrie got it. Austin is such a puss, he wouldn’t do anything about it anyway except maybe threaten to cut Kate off from his life, which, it’s become painfully obvious to me that, like Lucas and Philip’s threats, that never happens. Sure, it was overly dramatic to threaten her with the dagger, but show it to Austin????? For what? He should have thought of it himself a long time ago, wuss that he is. The drama was insane, but the effect was hilarious.
she is well aware of what Stefano is/was capable of, but does she know that he was indirectly responsible for her daughter’s death? Did Abe tell her that Lexi’s tumor was the result of her being trapped in those tunnels all those months, and that Abe blames Stefano for Andre putting her there, or that it’s been proven that the toxic gas caused her condition resulting in her death? I can’t recall Abe or Lexi telling her that, but if she did know that would move her well up the ladder on the suspect list, even though she’s not on it at all now.
Rafe, Roman and Spencer were there to intentionally ruffle E.J.’s feathers, as evidenced by Rafe purposely dropping the pics on the floor and Roman letting him know in front of Spencer that Stefano cut E.J. out of his will, which gave him motive. Add that to the fact that they put him on notice that he was now their prime suspect. All of this made E.J. visibly uncomfortable. Of course, all he ever comes back with are his silly insults, threatening Rafe’s job and calling them monkeys. Last time I checked, primates are highly intelligent. The (ahem) Mayor should realize that he has no authority over a criminal investigation, especially when he, himself, is a suspect, leading Rafe to conclude that now they do nothing but wait for him to make a mistake. E.J. looked like a cat on a hot tin roof just waiting to bolt, but not before he continues to bully the only one he knows he can right now …. young William. That may wind up being the biggest mistake he ever makes. E.J. took the cops’ bait and was clearly frazzled. I think E.J. played right into their hands today. I score it …. (finally) SPD-1 … EJD-0.
guess I’m getting too used to the suits and ties. Plus, there was something off with James’ make-up today. Either they applied too much, or he’s gained weight in his face.
and for as much harm as Kate has done to the unfaithful women in her sons’ lives, Carrie had better take everything Kate said to her at heart. I swear, if I could have given Kate a big hug today, I would have. Carrie is such a phony. I notice she couldn’t admit to Kate that she was "in love" with Austin, and only replied to Kate that it was "none of her business." So telling on Carrie’s part who she’s really ‘in love’ with. You’re right, Nora….the dagger gift was priceless, and should not be taken lightly by Carrie. Sorry, but Kate was so cool today.
who is worth watching. I think she’s been doing a much better job lately. I like her standing up to that dirt bag, Andrew. If I don’t see some improvement in Gabi Hernandez soon, she will top my list as the MOST disgusting character on this show, for me anyway. The character is pathetic, but Chad and Abbey need to start seeing through this lying, manipulative brat, and that’s just what she’s acting like. I can’t decide whether she’s that despicable or Chad’s that stupid. I thought Abbey was going to enlighten Chad to Gabi’s scheme, but then she turns around and agrees with Gabi’s POV. Camilla Banus is a gorgeous girl and that makes it harder to sell this role of hers, because seems to me she should be able to get any guy she wants without the crap she’s pulling with people she considers her ‘friends.’ Why do the teen story lines always have to have at least one psycho in them? Boring!!!
This is such a bad storyline, all because gaggin’ Gabi can’t accept the fact that Chad doesn’t want her. I like the job Molly is doing, though.
I have HD on all 3 TVs in my home, but I never watch my soaps on my big screen for that very reason.
but neither of them compare to Gabi’s paid stalker, Andrew. That kid looks like a bottle of shampoo would start screaming knowing it was falling on his head. I’m sure the young actor is rather good looking, but the character of Andrew looks like a hot shower is definitely NOT part of his daily hygiene.
that Stefano’s body was shipped off to Italy for burial in accordance with the DiMera family wishes; but, I have to ask, WHAT FAMILY???? Except for Chad, he has none, even though E.J. probably still looks at himself as a DiMera, he probably thinks that Stefano would not have wanted him there.
I just hope that was the real Stefano DiMera in that casket, dead as a doornail, never to rise from the ashes again (but I have to seriously doubt it).
which will keep her on-screen until mid-September, since the show is still taping 3 months ahead, unless the new writers decide to tweak her story line and write her out sooner.
I also read that Peter Reckell will tape until late July, which will keep Bo on-screen through most of November sweeps, if the new writers decide to keep it that way, which I see no reason why they would not, since I think Bo’s exit story will have a lot to do with November sweeps.
As for Sami, I wish she would just keep her mouth shut and stop ranting against Carrie and Rafe, especially in front of an audience. I know she has problems with Carrie …. WHO WOULDN’T? As far as I’m concerned, Rafe should no more be lead investigator in Will’s case than Roman, since he is STILL Will’s step-father. Last time I checked Sami and Rafe had not obtained their divorce yet. Rafe told Sami he was filing for a divorce, but that was the last I heard of it, unless I missed the whole proceeding. Love Sami, always have, always will, and I’m still rooting for Sami and Rafe once Austin and Carrie get the hell out of Dodge, but can’t help but think that by then evil Elvis will be the one of get in the way of that path of further destruction, not Lucas.

On Twitter, Peter Reckell (Bo) has posted this message for his fans: “‘Days of Our Lives’ has been my home, my life, for almost 30 years. Bo is a character that developed From my soul, and has touched many lives, but none more than my own. I took my place in the hierarchy of the show, in the storyline, moving others aside, in the 80s. Now others have moved into the place I once held. I have been very fortunate to have had such a long, meaningful, run. But now, with a torn heart, I have to say goodbye to the people, family, the character, that I love. You have to know this has not been easy. I do not want to give up Bo, and with luck, in the future, will be able to return to the character that I fought so hard to preserve. Thank you for being the most supportive, forgiving, loyal viewers there are. You have given me strength in difficult times. You are the reason ‘DOOL’ is still standing and will continue for years to come. Thank you for all you have given me and the character I love!”
He has confirmed it on his twitter account now, also, expressing his thanks to the fans, but Bo is leaving Days of Our Lives. Of course, we know the door will remain open, but I don’t see him walking back in; not at the pay-cut they want him to take. I’m thinking he will be the one who shot Stefano and will go to prison, since I don’t think he will be killed off.
