it’s building up day by day. This is, after all, only Tuesday, and a lot of things are building up to what I expect will "explode" on Friday. I’m enjoying the slow go at this point. I would not expect them to reveal anything this early in the week.
most of 2012, and even when her and Rafe were together, she dressed down waaay too much. A couple of times I think she even wore Rafe’s shirts …. you know, those ugly plaid ones, with the sweatpants and fluffy bedroom slippers. I was so happy to see her in some decent clothes as soon as she got the job with Madison and subsequently with Countess W. Ali’s very petite, yet very well built, so those frumpy clothes back then did nothing for her. Also glad to see she got rid of those horrible bangs.
today was a foreshadowing of that for sure. Who she’ll want is anybody’s guess. Whew …. what a tough choice she’s going to have. LOL.

The newest face at the judges’ table is taking home the biggest paycheck.
Mariah Carey, who has officially signed on to join American Idol, will reportedly earn about $18 million for the season.
"Her deal is rumored to be just under $18 million for one year with an option to renew," a source familiar with the negotiation tells PEOPLE.
Carey, 42, will reportedly be the highest paid judge on any reality show, although departed judge Jennifer Lopez raked in $20 million plus bonuses her second year, according to a source.
JS and AS have been working well lately, (hell, I’ve even been enjoying E.J., and that’s saying something for me), so all the rants and all the ravings aren’t going to break them apart. I personally have learned to accept the fact that Corday, plus Tomlin, plus Whitesell, love Sami and E.J. together, so if EJAMI is where it’s gonna be for them, ok, then, put them together, but KEEP it there. Let everyone see that this is where they are taking them; BUT, if so, give poor Lucas a break and have Autumn follow him to Salem and fight for her guy, and give poor Rafe somebody to love …. just not Sami. Give the triangles a rest, if you will.
What sickens me is the flip-flopping these writers have done with Sami and E.J. ever since E.J. came to Salem in, what, 2006? No matter how much people try to discredit Sami or E.J., believe me when I tell you, it’s not going to sway TPTB. Know why? There’s too many fans rooting for them than there are against them. And if that’s the way it has to be, then bring it. I just want to see good stories being written from now on, effectively portrayed by good actors (with a little afternoon delight thrown in here and there), and the rest will fall in place. I have never approved of E.J. Some would even say I despised him. And, they’d be right. I will, however, stand my ground and deny, deny, deny that their current relationship has all been about Sami chasing E.J., because that is bullsh*t, pure and simple. E.J. Wells DiMera has been in love with Sami ever since he came to town on Stephano’s orders to impregnate a Brady. What Stefano did NOT count on was him falling in love with her. Since then they have BOTH done rotten things to one another, yet they keep finding ways to remain in each other’s orbit. If they go there again, fine, I can force myself to live with it because I love this show so much, but for all the tea in England, please stop with the Sami ranting and that it’s all her fault. E.J. sure doesn’t appear to be running the hell away from her, now does he? I don’t know what’s worse for me ….. watching them reunite this couple or reading the rantings of those who spew the venom only in Sami’s face. That’s nuts!
ARE E.J. AND SAMI MENTALLY DEFECTIVE BECAUSE THEY CAN’T SEEM TO STAY AWAY FROM EACH OTHER? Damn straight they are; but, hey, if anyone stops to think about it, this love/hate relationship between them isn’t something new ….. it’s actually the true feelings that both of them have tried to suppress over the years. Daaayyyum, they even tried to actually kill one another (or at least kill who they thought were their rivals at the time). I, myself, have despised E.J. for many years, but I’ve learned to live with the fact that he is a core character on DOOL, as is Sami, and fortunately there are many more who love him and Sami, whether individually or apart, than hate them. Message boards only display a tiny portion of the millions of people who watch soaps, sort of like a flea on an elephant’s …… well, you get what I mean. So, my advice …. face it, they’re here to stay, so sit back, relax, and enjoy the rest of the show.
where Sami’s are sky blue, Nicole’s are sort of a gray-blue. Not only their eyes, but both have beautiful smiles that light up their faces, especially when they are in a close-up. As a matter of fact, it has always been my belief that DOOL has the most gorgeous women in soaps.
and then we’re done, finally, thanks to the soap gods in soap heaven. My throat is sore from the gag reflexes I get when Carrie finds one more way to sniff out Rafe to say goodbye AGAIN!!!! If this were Amityville instead of Salem, all she would be hearing is:

but he was perfect for Emily. She appeared to me to be somewhat cold and very set in her ways, and wouldn’t think twice about making it clear to any of those guys that it was her way or the highway. I also thought Jef looked too young for her — at least that’s how I saw him. He looked more like he could have been her younger brother to me; plus, I hated his hair, especially with the shaved-on-one-side cut. Didn’t like that look at all.
I thought Arie was better looking and a genuine sweetheart once they cleared the air. I do believe he killed his chances right from the start, though, when he felt he was not sure he could commit to having a step-child; that turned her off from the get-go. I think it was always there, in the back of her mind, even after she started falling for him. Also, I can understand her being afraid of his choice for a career. I do commend her for not making him go through the last day knowing she was not going to choose him. I thought they looked good together, but Emily was definitely playing it safe in the end, IMHO.
In any case, good luck to them. I hope it works out.
I see that in 7-E that Abe, Abigail, Victor, Maggie, Doug, Julie, and Ian are no longer listed in the Ballroom. Instead, Madison and Ian are in the Ballroom corridor, so where are Abe, Abigail, Victor, Maggie, Doug and Julie. Are they all in the elevator cab? Why would Abigail leave her family in the Ballroom and enter the elevator. Where are the rest of them, Abe, Vic and Maggs and Doug and Julie? This is certainly going to be catastrophic if all of them were in the elevator. Just wondering if the elevator falls. Gosh, I just got chills at the thought of that one!
