is that he’s resentful for being stuck in a boarding school all those years and not being raised with Jennifer and Jack, and while he was away at school, with school authorities, no doubt, but no parental guidance or supervision, he became sort of a victim of his peers and got in with the wrong people. Sometimes, and admittedly, they are few, he shows a softer side. I believe he loves both Jennifer and Abbey but they’re both making it too easy for him to act out. I can’t stand his attitude and the more he pulls the wool over Jennifer’s eyes (let’s face it, she’s got a lot on her mind right now), the less and less I care for this character. Maybe Lucas will be able to help (plus it would give Lucas something to do in the way of a storyline), because this young man is a fatal crash just waiting to happen.

it’s all over social media and on ED’s Twitter account, thanking fans and saying it was her idea to leave and no one else’s. So, good luck Eileen. This fan will miss you.

that’s why I said “if she goes on.” She did say all she wants to do is go home, so she may just walk away from both Drew and Chris. The only reason I can even think she would stay is because she keeps saying she “loves” both of them as well, and may decide if she can’t be with the one she loves the most, she’ll choose the one who she believes she can love just as much. Who knows how they will all feel when this is revealed next week?

playing the judge. Really liked today’s show in that it focused on two main storylines today only; Sami’s bail hearing and Chad’s brain dilemma. Then, of course, a brief introduction to Bernardi’s “real” cause of death. Loved Sami today; she appeared humble and very afraid and, except for the one outburst about the State’s witness, she was toned down quite a bit from her normal reactions to her troubles. E.J., on the other hand, was not, and as much as I love his commitment to being Sami’s “rock”, he was anything but today. Actually, he may have made things worse with the judge and that OTT D.A. Loved the way she pulled out E.J. and Sami’s escape and attempt to flee, and how it did not bother her to leave her children. It was a pure delight for me to hear Justin to tell E.J. if he wanted to be helpful, to just “Stop Talking.” LOL! Loved Eric showing up for Sami. Their sibling chemistry is so pure. Laughed out loud when Eric said something about doubtful regarding Sami saying she was sorry and did not want to take the spotlight when her arrest spoiled his consecration ceremony. Now, that was funny.

The twist with Kayla and Abe questioning why Bernardi was presumed to have a successful surgery and then dying on the table was a surprise I didn’t see coming. Now, the investigation begins. So, I’m guessing Stefano had him snuffed out in the operating room, which should not surprise anyone. Guess Steffie has more than cops on his payroll. Maybe a surgeon at Salem University Hospital or two as well.

So, Chad may have a terminal brain tumor? Are they going to kill him off? Is he going to die from the same illness that killed Lexi? I hope not, but this is the start of summer sweeps, so I’m keeping an interested eye on this one.

Stefano looked like an old fool with his Asian girlfriend today, IMO. The look on his face when Kate turned on her heels and walked away showed his failure to make her jealous, but Kate was back to Kate for that moment, and for that alone I’m happy. He has his Asian gold-digger, but she still has Rafe …. for now …. and Steffie was certainly not pleased about that.

Thought it was funny when Stefano introduced Cecily to Chad as his ‘youngest son’ and Chad came back with “as far as he knows.” Great line and perfect comeback!

Good job today, writers! I truly enjoyed today’s show!

I really was rooting for Brooks; however, after thinking it through, he never could tell her that he was in love with her, or even that he was falling in love with her. Seems his family saw it, but never mentioned it until he came home the second time, and that convinced him not to go through with it. I think he will miss her far more than she will miss him, if she does go on. Now, I’m hoping she does pick Drew, who may appear on the young side, but Dayummmm, he’s cute and built like a brick *hithouse, if I must say so myself. Chris, I just can’t see for Des; just something about him that’s not attractive for me. I would have to sympathize with the two left, though. If it were me, I would have second thoughts about winding up second choice.

you would be totally shocked how many “fans” of this show want to see Kristen wind up pregnant by Eric (ugh), which makes me sick of my stomach just thinking about it, let alone seeing it happen, especially since we already know that Kristen can’t have anymore children — but that’s never stopped soap writers from making it happen. Seems lots of fans (if you want to call them that) love Kristen and Marlena’s hated and the revenge over John storyline far more than they do Father Eric’s vocation and dedication to the church. Some people are just plain nuts when it comes to fan-fiction!!!

if someone was in jail looking like a million bucks. She was, I would imagine, upset, maybe crying, maybe needed to wash her face, whatever reason, and there are many, a person in jail should not look like a movie star. The hair and make-up they did on Lauren Koslow when she was doing the cancer story was the most ridiculous thing I ever saw for someone who was supposed to be gravely ill. She looked and reminded me of Alexis Carrington from Dallas — ‘I’d rather be dead than look bad in my bed.’ LOL!

I thought it was well written and I loved Ali’s and Greg’s performances, and those kids were adorable. I wish they would give her more scenes with her DOOL kids; she looks like a terrific mom and I imagine that’s just the way she is with her own kids. I thought both Ali and Greg shined through these characters as much as they do on DOOL, and yes, their chemistry was off the charts. Kudos to both of them.

in multiple roles again. I think she’s there to fool the CSI investigator, because who in Salem wouldn’t know Susan? Wouldn’t make much sense, but I’m willing to put my suspicions on hold until we see more of this. Frankly, I’m getting a little tired of this whole Kristen revenge storyline and would hope that she will soon, too — and move onto bigger and better things.
