and ED does look fabulous for 54, but I thought she was around 58. Hollywood, do they ever give their real ages anyway? I guess I just keep reminding myself that when Kristen was with John back in the day, the writers had Kristen babysitting Brady, and at one point she was almost his step-mom, so for that reason alone I guess I felt like she must be much older than Brady.

used to babysit Brady and almost became his step-mom, so if Brady is supposed to be around 40 on the show, Kristen should be nearing 60. So ridiculous. Those eggs should be caked and crumbled by now.
and when Kristen takes a home pregnancy test, it will show positive; but, it will be a false positive, and she won’t be pregnant but going through a change of life. That would make me so extremely happy to see her have her final mental meltdown and explode into the psychotic mess she so richly deserves. And writers, when you do your research and learn that a woman absolutely, positively can never get pregnant again, don’t wave the magic miracle stick. Instead, stay true to history and STICK TO THE SCRIPT!!!

that there are so many fans who would be completely p.o.’d by this, so they did the right thing by their viewers who are avid fans of DOOL and arranged for another affiliate to broadcast the show. Cheers to them!
I shook with laughter when Jennifer spoke into her voice activated cell phone and said “CALL HOPE” and Kayla replied, “CALL HOPE WHAT” — then literally could not stop laughing when Kayla got the call from Kate after eating an entire jar of peanut butter with a spoon and Kate could not understand one word she said. Kayla remarked, “I don’t know what happened; I could hear her fine.” LMAO. To the writers: take a bow, ladies and gentlemen; these book club scenes were ALL solid gold, IMO.

as a matter of fact the show doesn’t even refer to her being Hope’s sister (even though we all know she is), but rather her ‘step-mother.’ I even look at her as Hope’s step-mother, since she is in fact married to Doug (and has been for many many years), Hope’s “daddy.” So, to me it’s 6 of one, half dozen of the other, and just a matter of how a viewer sees it.
and boy, do I miss Julie. For me, Julie and Kayla were equally the funniest, with Jennifer running a close second. Actually, these ladies all showed how well they can play comedy. Nicole’s paranoia just proved how little she thinks of herself as being anyone’s ‘real’ friend, but at the same time she seemed the least stoned and it would not surprise me if she didn’t put the whole thing together and realize what JJ has really been up to where manipulating Jenn is concerned. Truly, these girls’ scenes today had me laughing out loud throughout all of their scenes. Well done Mary Beth, Susan, Missy, Judi and Ari. You were all wonderful today.
I was not going to miss one minute of the first preseason game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but I did watch it this a.m. and all I can say about Sondro is ‘thank God he’s gone.’ That guy was a ticking time bomb, and I’m sure if they opened his head for any reason, they would find scrambled eggs where his brain should be. Anyway, Brad deserved to win with his outfit; it was stunning. I also loved the young black girl who designed the striped dress. I don’t sew, but I have wallpapered using stripes, and I would imagine it’s close to the same as far as lining up your pattern perfectly, or your mistakes stand out like a sore thumb. I also loved the fact that she had hair and makeup style her model’s hair in a bowtie. That was clever. I was a little surprised at Sue (I think that’s her name — the woman with the dreadlocks-looking hair), because her work was a mess, and I thought she was going to be a front-runner. Looks like Kate will be, though. I really liked her design. Her work sort of reminds me of Michelle’s, the winner from last season.
