Participanthad full replacement of shattered bone. Pain right now practically unbearable. 1 week follow-up appt. next Wednesday followed by months of rehab, which I’m certainly NOT looking forward to. Thanks to all well-wishers, You’re all the best.
Patti
ParticipantI’m back Bon. Surgery went well, but you were so right about the pain. I don’t know where to go today just to keep my sanity on track. Thank God for drugs! LOL!
I still can’t get over Elizabeth being sent home instead of
Bill. That young woman was FABULOUS!!! Only thing I could fathom was people don’t or won’t warm up to Val. He seems somewhat cold and impatient at times, to me anyway.Patti
Participantyour good wishes and thoughts are DEEPLY appreciated.

Participantsee The Brady Pub board and you”ll see why I’m not posting, but will return as soon as I’m able. My surgery is tomorrow. Thanks for your concern; this is the best board anywhere, IMO.
Patti
Participantbracing myself for my PT. My doc says it will take anywhere from 4-6 months to reach full recovery. Ugh!

Participantand with sweeps starting next week, I’m on pins and needles waiting for some of these s/l’s to wrap up, and for new ones to begin.
You know, I feel exactly the same as you do when it comes to Sami and E.J., and that line you quoted was exactly what I was going to post about how and why I am enjoying so much how they are now writing this pair. They certainly are NOT perfect individually, but together they are my ideal super-couple, if, in fact, soaps still believe in super-couples. Now, it seems to be the luck of the draw if your super-couple lasts for more than six months. Too bad!!!
I too am so going to miss Chandler, and hope that Guy Wilson can fill his shoes. By the way, no one’s ever said it, but isn’t that a totally fantastic play on a name for this couple …. ‘WILSON”? Just strikes me funny that this actor’s last name is a combination of this couple.
Again we agree on Casey Deidrich. I so preferred Abigail with Chad than with Cameron. I feel like Abbey is another do as I say, not as I do character, though, when it comes to her triangle with Chad and Cameron. Too bad she didn’t think of some of this condemnation she had for Chad while she was trying every way she could think of to ‘bang’ Austin’s brains out. Wonder how this will play out for her when Chad leaves and if/when Cameron is the one who gets murdered. We/I already know that Nathan Owens is finished taping; that’s why I think it’s going to be Cameron to die, and not Gabi, and we know that Chad is leaving for Boston. Besides, I think Gabi’s disappearance may have something to do with Nick, like maybe another boring kidnapping. Ugh…please!!!
I thought the same things in my head when Hope went off at the nurses’ station about hospital gossip, making a very significant pronunciation of the word “detective” when calling the volunteer nursing staff out. That was so uncalled for, and so unworthy of Hope. Either way, I understand she has a big storyline coming after the first of the year. Dare I hope she receives word Bo was killed. Poor KA — she needs a new life inside these Salem walls.
JJ and Theresa are huge disappointments for me, as well as their stories. They could kill both of these characters off and it wouldn’t bother me a bit.
I have to disagree with you (as much as it kills me to do it) on Dr. Dan though. I love SC and just want the back/forth/back/forth relationship with him and Jen to end. I’m ready for Dr. Dan to move on from Jennifer, even though I don’t believe that will happen. JJ will probably be calling him “dad” by February sweeps.
Can’t wait for the Bristen wedding. Looks like Father Eric isn’t the only one who’s going to feel like a complete @ss!!!

ParticipantI recall seeing him in the Bible movies as well, and I always loved his acting. Sorry to hear about his death.
Patti
ParticipantHe sounds more like a New Yorker to me.
Patti
Participanthe surely is not going to deserve what’s about to happen to him; however, that being said, Dan should not have rushed over without knowing what was happening to Theresa, AND, once he knew there were drugs on the scene, he should have sent the medics to the scene and let the chips fall where they may as far as JJ and Theresa were concerned. Now, undoubtedly, he will pay the price for throwing away his conscience, his so-over-rated love for Jennifer, and his medical ethics for what
two ungrateful useless, unworthy pieces of scum who will undoubtedly not learn their lesson from this tragedy either.Patti
Participantbut with mixed emotions, I must admit. On the one hand, I was hoping our Orioles would be in the running this year, but since we sort of fell apart, I’ll just sit back and root for the Red Sox, since they are in our division. What great pitchers they have. That’s where our failure lies; we just can’t seem to get a strong pitching staff where we have at least 4 really great starters. Our bull pen didn’t do too badly, but not good enough. Anyway, GO BOSTON!!!!
Patti
Participantbut I believe it will be Cameron. I don’t think it will be Kristen, because I read that she leaves town. I do think the words ‘out with a bang’ sounds very interesting. Is there going to be another explosion? Seems like an odd way for a spoiler to say how she will be going out.
Patti
ParticipantI didn’t say Stefano was there. I still do not believe Stefano or E.J., or even Kristen for that matter, would intentionally hurt Ally. But, I can see Lucas’ point for having concerns about his daughter as well.
