whereas there’s no salary cap in baseball, and chances of injuries are practically nil compared to football.

some are loving them, especially for the sex scenes, but only because they hate Sami so much; then it’s vice-versa where EJami is concerned. They think Abby is a harlot in heat and obsessed with E.J. (regardless of his despicable background). EJami have tons of fans on other boards, and of course those are the ones who tear EJabby to shreds. As with any soap couple, it comes down to who you like and who you don’t, but almost all are of the opinion, as am I, that there is no real love for Abbey on E.J.’s part, just his ability to conquer Abigail, and that eventually they will end, but not before the truth comes out. This will likely happen if E.J. fools Sami into marriage. Then, that’s when the photos of EJabby will come into play, and that this may happen during May sweeps. At that point, I think E.J. will be the one to suffer the worst from it, and he will be left with his manhood in his hand, so to speak. I would certainly hope that once the truth hits Sami between her eyes, she will leave E.J., kids and all, but not before she gives Abby a chance to find out that living hell is real and it’s name is Sami Brady. Of course, there’s always the chance that James Scott will not renew his contract, too, and he and the children leave also. What I don’t think is that someone will die over this mess. Anyway, lots of ways this could still go, I guess.

except for the fact that they both hate the Hortons, which has never, ever been explained, and probably never will.

As for Chyka, his days are numbered, I’m sure, but I agree that I was so hoping Nicole would shoot him, sort of accidentally on purpose. LOL!

What is it with the writing this week, anyway? Most of this week has been a boring mess for me, and whoever is doing the script writing needs to be taken seriously enough to realize that they are doing a lousy job. The lines yesterday, all the way around, from Daniel and Nicole, to JJ, Theresa and the three stoners (although I like Bev the most), were horrible (so damn repetitive…same thing day after day), and Sami and E.J.’s lines were a mess of innuendos, although I’m sure they were meant to be funny to someone, as well as the hidden shower scene fiasco; plus, those scenes with Eric and the Monk — I mean, really — I almost nodded off to sleep. So, I will take a moment here to remind the writers …. THIS IS FEBRUARY SWEEPS!!!!

the dialogue was atrocious …. not even a little bit funny, but definitely cheesy. I absolute despise the way they are writing these three seemingly popular characters. I think Corday talks out of his anus in his interviews, and the words he puts on paper should never be believed. The man is an out-and-out liar. What a horrid story-line this is, and the characters are so ridiculously out of their realm of believability that I can’t even enjoy them on my screen any longer.

that Russell Wilson’s agent already has a meeting with the Texans on behalf of Russell, since it’s already been established that he will make less than a million dollars with Seattle next year. “SHO’ ME THE MONEY!” LOL!

Under the 2011 Collective Bargaining Agreement, all contracts for draft picks have a mandatory length of four years, and those contracts cannot be renegotiated until three seasons have passed. So, even if the Seahawsk want to give Wilson a raise, they can’t. He’ll make $526,217 in 2013 and $662,434 in 2014. After his third season, then the Seahawks can reward him with the ‘big bucks.’

these weather people never cease to amaze me. The sleet and freezing rain began around 10:00 p.m. last night, the schools are mostly all closed in Maryland, and right now (10:45 a.m.) the sun is shining, the ground is wet but not icy, and temps are due to hit 48 degrees by noon. Go figure!!! These poor kids will be going to school all summer this year if these kind of forecasts continue.

are superb actors and completely nail their Emmy worthy performances still makes me wait with baited breath to enjoy sitting back and watching them meet their dismal end, just like Dr. Chyka will soon be doing, I’m sure. However, I don’t see them as half the villains that people like Andre, Rolf, Stefano, Vivian, and even Victor in his hay-day are or have been. Short of redeeming these people, which most likely is not what these writers have in mind, I’m sure both Nick and Kristen will both get their comeuppances at some point, so I can fight off practically any of their scenes knowing that they are not long-term and will no doubt go down very hard (probably within this year), and right now that’s good enough for me.

but she’s following him everywhere now, calling him on his cell phone (really, Abs???) right in front of T, yet, and I agree, he should just tell her to stay the hell away from him, which I do think he’s going to have to do to break free from her. He’s getting his kicks by having her stalk him, that’s for sure, but I see her as being more the aggressor than him, yes, and that’s because I see her waaayyyy more obsessed with him than he is with her. I expect this to end very soon, at least I hope it does. Right now, and I’m sure many will not share my feelings, I feel more sorry for Sami than I do for either E.J. or Abbey. I’m sure when her and the other ladies keep telling E.J. to do what he has to do to keep Abbey’s mouth shut, that this is not what they meant. This whole storyline is disgusting for me to watch and can’t end soon enough for me, but after today I think it’s going to either wind down, end completely and abruptly, or blow up in all of their faces. Just not sure which I prefer more right now.

he’s probably a very intelligent young man; however, he wouldn’t be the first athlete to make an a$$ of himself in a pre- or post-game interview, and I’m sure he won’t be the last.

first snow prediction was mostly rain here in Baltimore, with several inches of snow in our western counties. Tonight, sometime after 10:00 p.m., we are supposed to be hit with what I consider much worse than snow …. a severe ice storm. Maybe we’ll get lucky here with that one as well.

Nick is so damn cryptic in his conversations with people he knows he has in his hip pocket, and today with Abbey was no different …. all that crap he was feeding her about her being so loyal, so trustworthy, so perfect, never willing to intentionally hurt anyone …. oh, yeah, I’d say he soooooo knows all there is to know regarding those clandestine meetings between her and E.J. The one person I don’t think he’ll be making any idle threats on, though, is E.J. his self …. if he values his very life, that is. He knows who he can quietly bully but, at the same time, he knows who he cannot …. like the DiMeras!

I listen a certain segment of 105.7 The Fan practically every morning, a sports radio station here in Baltimore, (mainly because there’s so much going on with the Orioles right now), and there was an interesting piece about Seattle’s Richard Sherman this a.m. He (Sherman) gave an interview and said that Peyton Manning was the “classiest guy he had ever met”, simply because he (Peyton) came up to Sherman after the game to check on him to see if he was alright and Peyton shook his hand and wished him good luck. Sherman told the interviewer that he was so impressed with Peyton doing that, and only hoped that he (Sherman) could “take a lesson from it for his own self.” Now, that was pretty classy on Sherman’s part, too, IMO!!

and I think Nick just about said so with all of his little cryptic innuendos with Kate yesterday. Love the way he’s playing this, but just how long it’s going to last is anybody’s guess, especially if Kate listens to E.J., and E.J., in turn, decides to get Stefano involved. Then, it will be goodbye Nick come May, right along with Gabi.
