but her hair was worse. Jen looks so pretty with her 80’s Farah Fawcett hair-do, and for goodness sake, a little color wouldn’t hurt instead of that straight parted down the middle, more grey than blonde look that just washes her out. What’s wrong with these stylists on this show? These are all beautiful women you’re working with. Do your job!!!
her hair is cut to the nape of her neck. They just had a few hairpins in the back of it. Awful, IMO. AZ is too pretty to wear her hair like that. Plus, she needs to wear bangs to hide the deep lines in her forehead, which she causes herself, I’m sure, because she’s always wrinkling her brow. I noticed the lines in her forehead for weeks now when her hair is off her face.
and it’s a shame, because AZ is gorgeous. But, between the horrific style of her short hair-do, the wardrobe, and her make-up lately, Nicole just looks dragged out to me. And, my goodness, Niki, stop furring those brows, or get thee to the Botox administrator, because that wrinkled forehead is adding ten years to your life.
to fix Brady short of a real tragedy, like both him and Theresa o.d.’ing together, but maybe that would be a good thing. He certainly needs something to wake him up and show him what he’s becoming. He’s always written as a loser and now he’s become a joke of a character to me. I cannot stand to watch this hook-up with Theresa being anything other than drinking/drugging buddies, but you almost know that it will turn to sex at some point, and that I simply can’t fathom. I’m rooting for John to be able to get through to him, but I know it won’t be easy. Until then I see Brady falling deeper and deeper into the black hole of oblivion. He’s turned into a clown for me, and not a funny one at that. I did more fast-forwarding on him and Theresa yesterday than anyone else.
on yesterday’s show. He’s been trying to let her down easy (no pun intended) and just have her move on and accept that he is in love with Sami, they are back together and sleeping together, and that they (him and Abbey) were not going to go any further in their “relationship”, but she has turned into a stalker and is now threatening to tell Sami about it, so he showed her, with no uncertainty, that if she wanted to act like a mistress, he was going to show her what it would be like to be a mistress. I know he was cruel and ruthless to a fault with her, but I’m glad and hope he opened her eyes to the fact that it was OVER between them. Maybe she’ll see the light, but I doubt it. This farce has gone far enough and she needed to wake up and smell the coffee. Of course, now with Sami’s determination to make Eric’s problems all the fault of the DiMeras, she might just drive him right back to her. I hope I’m wrong, because this storyline has outlived it’s purpose, but I have no doubt it is going to cause huge problems for E.J. down the road when the pictures are revealed. It’s time for E.J. to put the black hat back on and I think this is what’s going to eventually happen. I don’t even recognize this guy any longer. You’re a DiMera, for God’s sake, start acting like one. There are other ways to get rid of this chick without pacifying her like the star-struck child she is. I’m so sick of it!!!

and this is a typical move for ABC/Disney. They did the same thing with the gal before Brooke, only she was pregnant. Anyone heard that Brooke may be pregnant? Just asking, cause that could be a reason if she is, which is an illegal reason to fire her, of course, but these networks and show owners don’t give a damn about the law, cause they know they can skate around it with other lies or excuses as to why someone is cut.
Now firing Wheeler and the entire band, that’s puzzling. Haven’t figured that one out yet, because I really loved Harold Wheeler and his orchestra. Obviously they are going with some sort of new musical numbers and could be looking for something newer and hipper, but I agree with the “if it ain’t broke…..” Didn’t see anything wrong with Wheeler or his band.
Going back to Brooke, it would not surprise me if they didn’t even replace her. Tom Bergeron did most of the work as host, anyway, IMO. Brooke was pretty, had been a former dancer/champion on the show, but other than that I don’t feel as a co-host she did that much, except maybe repeat the same standard questions to the contestants and pros time after time. Maybe they’re just trying to cut back on production costs, I don’t know. I’ve heard rumors that Brooke was not popular with fans and took some extremely unpopular hits on line and with the social media, but Tom is extremely well-liked, that I do believe, and he has that popular kind of pleasant personality and build-up with the audience in the studio, as well as the dancers and contestants on the show. He’s definitely a keeper for me.
I was making a comparison of Sami to Abbey. And yes, I consider what E.J. and Sami did was “making love”; what I consider E.J. and Abbey were doing is “screwing”, for a respectful lack of a filthier word. It just boggles my mind how some can see what they consider an explicit sexual scene one way, and another one much more (or much less) perverse, in another way. That’s all. Please, I am not trying to argue with you. I know you have your opinion and your right to it.
you did not mind that shower screw between EJ and Abbey, which is still going on…and on…and on…and on in flashbacks, was explicit but Sami’s softer lovemaking with E.J. was OTT? Mmmm, okay, then!
plus, I think tonight is the results for everyone. Must admit, I’m not up on the changes yet for this year.
with a twist this year. The original contestants selected for Hollywood are now set at 15 guys and 15 girls. The 15 guys performed last night, but the twist this year is that the 3 judges decide which 10 of the 15 will be selected, and the 5 not selected went home last night. The 10 guys selected are now set. Tonight the 15 girls take their turn and try to impress the judges enough to make it to the final 10. Then the 20 finalists begin, setting up America’s weekly votes. There are a few of the guys who really impressed me, but most of all I’m enjoying the judges this year, especially Harry Connick, Jr., who I adore but who is a mild version of Simon Cowell in that he is nowhere near as willing to dish out the compliments as are Jay-Lo and/or Keith. Randy took Jimmy’s place as the show’s mentor to the contestants. Just getting started, really, so no favorites for me …. yet!
Edit: Looks like America did vote already and these are the results on tonight’s show (Thursday). I must have missed the girls completely. LOL!
but guess I’m a little more tough-skinned than some, even if it is all acting and nothing more. Quite frankly, I thought the Abigail/E.J. shower scene was much more explicit than E.J. and Sami’s scene. Abbey straddled him like a horse and actually wrapped her legs around him at one point, all the while rubbing her topless self (even with the pasties on her breasts) all over him.
a free ticket back to Salem with no charges or evidence whatsoever proving what her and Chyka did to Eric. Bah …. after all these months, this storyline has turned sour and I’m personally fed up with it. By the way, if Eric and Nicole ever DO get together, can he start speaking like a regular Salemite and not in that whispering “Father Eric” voice he seems to have, regardless of who he’s conversing with.
I thought she looked very professional yesterday, and her love scenes with E.J. were well done, and not OTT sexually explicit. Good job, DOOL. That’s the way to write a man in love, and not in lust.
stereotypically written as someone who not only manipulates a person or a situation so that it serves her own purpose, but she always shoots herself in the foot doing it, so if this storyline is anything, it’s typical writing for Nicole Walker. No matter how good she tries to be, no matter how hard it is for her to “do the right thing”, it’s just not going to be a happy ending for this woman. Personally, I don’t care, because I don’t want to see Eric with her. I want Eric to remain a priest. He thinks he is conflicted because he now knows for sure that Nicole is in love with him, or at least she claims she is, and he’s using the Church’s excuse of no evidence to prove Eric is not guilty or that he was drugged and unaware of his act, and is now using it as a means to justify leaving the priesthood. Foul play, all the way around for me. But, this last episode of Nicole destroying the evidence will be, I would think, the straw that breaks her back if Eric ever finds out the truth, and we all know about secrets coming out sooner or later, so I’m sorry, but Nicole would deserve it if it does drive Eric right back to the Church, maybe not as a priest, but in some other form or capacity, maybe a teacher at St. Luke’s Catechism class; anything, but still working closely with the Church, and still serving God, but certainly NOT servicing Nicole.
