jeopardized when he had an affair with Angelica Devereaux, where they produced a son, Alexander. Without going into a long, drawn-out story as to what happened to Angelica and why Justin would up paralyzed from the waist down, Justin and Adrienne eventually reunited but had trouble conceiving another child, so their housekeeper, J. J. Bagby, allowed them to adopt her twin boys, so now they had 3 sons. Then, when the Kiriakis’ left the show the first time around, Adrienne became pregnant with Jackson (Sonny), their 4th son. The other 3 sons are still in Europe, I believe (or are they still in Texas — I’m not sure).

that she would have a “daughter”-in-law, not a “son”-in-law. That would be my guess.

because clearly she knows Nicole, and knows her well enough to know that Nicole is trying to remove Eric from the one thing he loves …. being a priest. Even though Eric is convinced that he loves Nicole more than his love for being a priest, I just can’t buy that knowing how devout a man he truly is. I believe that if he even knew for a moment that Nicole could have cleared his name, and that he could have remained a priest and been reinstated with the church and all that goes with it, he would not have made the decision to be with Nicole, regardless of how much he believes in his love for her. Nicole has done a very bad thing, and Marlena is simply trying to get to the bottom of it, because none of Eric’s family want him to leave the priesthood for what they consider to be the wrong reason, so she is trying to prove he was sexually assaulted by Kristen with the help of Chyka, and, by association with Chyka, with Nicole as well. I don’t know why Nicole decided to do it this way, but it will all be for naught if/when Eric finds out the truth. Yes, Nicole is desperate to be loved and so admitted that to Stefano by attesting to the fact that all she wants is to be with someone who loves her as much as she loves him, but to me she is going about it all the wrong way. I have a feeling Nicole’s plan will backfire at some point, because, let’s face it, this is the way Nicole has been written for years and I don’t see it improving any with this storyline. Nicole is, and always has been, her own worst enemy. Shame!!

Kate succeeds in flushing out Jordan’s connection to the Ozarks. I recall that being part of her scheme to stick her nose into Jordan’s business even deeper than she has already. LOL. Seriously, the poor rejected cougar needs to find a way to get herelf a new life.

and the way they’re dragging out the Jordan storyline, we’ll probably still be speculating when July/August sweeps roll around. Maybe this will be the summer storyline, along with JJ and his new little girlfriend (big whoop), because God knows Bev and Rory aren’t enough to hold down the summer teen drama.

and that makes it twice as bad for me. How damn many villains can they expect to shove down our throats without throwing in a good human interest, family related, loving story for somebody. If you break down the cast, there is not one couple who is not going through some sort of drama, someone interfering in their lives, someone out to “get” them into deep trouble or, now with this stupid stalker storyline, the possibility of someone being physically hurt. There’s nothing but fighting, back-stabbing, blackmail, you name the crime and you’ll find it everywhere in Salem. I don’t know …. I’m just sick of all of it, and after Sami Brady leaves, I may just decide to take the same road. I am not happy with these writers. The vets are treated like dirt, while the newbies are eating up my screen with stories I’m not interested in. Why can’t we see more of Kala, her son, Joey, Justin, Adrienne, Doug, Julie, or any other missing vet we only get to see at Christmas??? And don’t even get me started on Doc and John. I’m so tired of ranting about the show, but honestly I’m getting fed up.

she is in “doc” mode; otherwise, she is written completely out of character. I simply cannot fathom why these writers can’t write for the DH’s. For me they are the epitome of a “super-couple” but one would never know it from the way they have been writing John and Marlena. I find it disturbing that these writers simply refuse to write storylines that are character driven rather than plot driven. It’s sad that soaps tend to disrupt character histories this way. Oh, well, just adding them to my list of disappointing but loving characters this show seems intent on destroying in my eyes. Ugh!

and Niki is pathetic. This relationship will last from here to the foot of Broadway, IMHO (which is 3 blocks in my neighborhood). Worst bachelor in the history of the show. The only two who get any praise from me are the two young ladies who walked out on him before he had the chance to reject them. Evidently, Nike doesn’t have much self-worth either. It looked to me like all she ever cared about was being on the show, or the glamor of the show itself, because she certainly didn’t give two cents about how she appeared to anyone else, so long as she was in the spotlight. Disgusting! So glad they’re over.

but I can’t. First of all, she’s lying through her teeth about not knowing about Chyka’s evidence; then, for all of her efforts to save Eric from losing his priesthood, she decides to shred the evidence she knew she had all the while; now, she’s so determined to bed the Father, even though his collar is still warm, and, finally, she’s willing to take on God and basically dare Him to try and stop her. Sorry, but I’m just out of reasons to think Nicole will ever change, but then who does on DOOL. Certain characters have been written so poorly for so many years that it’s difficult for me to watch my favorite actors continuing to portray them. Honestly, I have never been so highly disappointed with the likes of Sami Brady, E.J. DiMera, Nicole Walker, and the list goes on and on and on. I don’t know what it’s going to take other than new writers, but I would certainly like to tune in one day and be happy or proud of the way my favorite actors/actresses are portrayed instead of always winding up smdh!!!

the only reason she knows anything about Raphael (the angel) is because of what E.J. told her about the angel wing pin or whatever it was that he returned to her from Chad. Abigail knows as much about art as Sami. E.J. had to explain it to Abby (another shocker in and of itself), and that’s when she went to the library and took out the art book. Talk about propping a s/l — this one takes the cake!

did snippy Ciara demand 10 pairs, or was it Sami who offered to buy her 10 pairs of earrings for being so grateful to get back her own $60,000 one. Of course, Ciara agreed IIRC, she even told Nick that Sami had a lot of money and she could afford it. That’s also why Ciara insisted they come from Baron’s (sp?). She knew they would have to be the “real deal” and very expensive. This kid has all the prospects of one day becoming a serial killer. LOL!

is that if Stefano can prove that Nicole has the evidence, and after his investigating the matter further it is revealed that Nikki destroyed that evidence, that leaves the door wide open for Kristen’s return to be free and clear of any crime she committed. Sure, Chyka’s telling Marlena what she wants to hear about Nicole (if in fact he remembers) will give Marlena the satisfaction she’s looking for in her attempt to destroy Nikki finding happiness with her son, Eric, but without proof what good will it do her? Kristen, however, would not have to worry going to jail when she returns to Salem. Of course, if Nicole has any portion of that evidence still in her possession, this theory goes out the window. We saw her shredding a few papers, but there was also one or maybe two rather thick binders or notebooks. We assume she shredded everything, but did she, really? I still don’t think Nicole will confess, regardless of how much her conscience is bothering her.

I will miss Samantha Gene but hope she gets her wish and she goes out with a bang. 21 years on this show, and after this lousy writing with the E.J./Abbey farce, I hope Sami Brady goes out guns blazing, with a hell-raiser storyline the likes of which no one will ever see again. But, that’s just me. I know Sami is not everyone’s cup of tea, but she sure is mine and I will deeply miss her.

Now, where Marlena is concerned, I sort of agree on the one hand; Marlena is making a huge mistake going to Stefano. How does she even know he hired Chyka for Kristen? Was that ever revealed to her? Anyway, Marlena thinks she can handle Stefano, but she’s only fooling herself. Guess this, too, will be a prop for John to save her from Stefano’s blackmail.

Where I disagree is about Eric being thrown under the bus for Kristen. Marlena (and practically everyone else in Salem) adores Eric. She also knows Nicole Walker, only too well. She wants to prove that Nicole knows that Chyka would have to have physical evidence of what was given to Kristen to trap Eric into sleeping with her. And, she does….and it’s as wrong as wrong can be for Nicole to have trapped Eric like this, regardless of how much he thinks he loves her. Nicole will probably be caught; at least I hope she is, and Marlena will have proved her point about Nicole, but will she still have Eric when she does??? Then, when it’s time to “pay the piper”, Marlena will be more than sorry that she didn’t just use Sami and E.J. to help her prove Nicole’s worth in Eric’s life rather than going to Stefano.

Also, I don’t blame Marlena for showing that tape at the Bristen wedding. That was Victor’s fault. Does anyone honestly believe Marlena would have shown that tape if she knew that Kristen’s bed partner was going to be Fr. Eric Brady? Of course not! JMO.
